Having money is nice but its even better to see the smile on your familys face when you pay off their bills for a lengthy period of time. This is exactly what Lilja is going to do once he gets back home to Finland for a few weeks after his hard work in the league. There isnt a straight flight from Seattle to Helsinki, so he needs to make a stop in Lissabon first. Rest of the money from his end of the season bonus goes to his favorite charitable organisation, Icehearts, which prevents people from becoming alienated from society by providing equipment and facilities to said people on the verge of becoming marginalized. After all, hockey is just some people on skates on ice with sticks tossing pucks all around. Whether youre taking it seriously like Lilja, or not, like some beer league amateur, its really just all about that. Lilja was one of the kids this one of the oldest charity organisations in Finland has helped so he proceeds to keep the funding going.

Honestly it is probably a shout to save about 25% of that and just put it in my savings account. However, Mr Zopf would definitely use the rest of the money to donate to a mental health charity as that is something that Mr Zopf is very passionate about. Other than that Mr Zopf would want to spend the money on his friends and family, perhaps purchase a new property for his parents so that they can live comfortably whilst also treating his friends to some lovely dinners and holidays. They had been with Mr Zopf since the beginning of his journey and they have constantly shown him appreciation and belief even when Mr Zopf could not see a way into the Simulation Hockey League. The people who had his back deserve to be supported back by Mr Zopf. Also maybe Mr Zopf starts his own restaurant, you never know. Mr Zopf is a lover of italian cuisine and attended culinary school when he was younger, but never pursued that avenue.

Hi all, hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was extra long. So Alvin’s week started well, he received a small bonus of $750.000. Noticed that i am saying small here, because in the SHL world that kind of money isn’t really worth much. You pay $100.000k for one booster pack of cards and to perform a weekly training at high intensity you need to spend one million dollards. So while it is nice to receive a bonus, i am kind of shocked how small the bonus in reality is. I am most likely just keep it on my bank for future training. I could buy some card packs and try to find a card of Gordie Boomhover or Adrian Ayers, but i think it is wiser to spend it on Alvin’s development. Now, if the $750k would be equivalent to real world money, i would donate all my money to KWF and WWF, two charities that are close to my heart.

SMJHL HO PEANUT! Code: What do you do with you $750k end-of-season bonus? Buy stuff? Like a fancy new car or an indoor pool? Donate it? What kind of charity would you be looking for? Does your player have their own foundation? If so what does it do? Tell me what you plan to do with the money! (150+ words) Surprisingly as it is considering how deep in his career that Strom is, he was able to have a fantastic season in his first starting role with the Dragons, a team that won his contract via marbles in free-agency. As such, with a new career low of 11 losses, the lowest seasonal losses he's ever had, he met his performance goals. In a great meeting with long time Winnipeg colleague turned Calgary GM Goku Muerto it was decided that his $750,000 performance bonus would be donated back to the people of Calgary for giving him such a warm welcome in the off-season. A portion of it would go to fund a new promotion during next season called "Strom Stoppers" in honor of the goaltending duo of the Dragons and would see one first responder or military serviceman, and their family or guest be seated ON THE BENCH during regular season home games. The other portion would go to creation of a kids park on the outside of the arena complete with accessibility for children with special needs or disabilities.

Miguel has a lot of things that he could do with $750k. First, he would donate some of it. A lot of players feel the need to start their own charity foundations but there are plenty of local charities already and Miguel prefers to donate to those instead. Miguel is particularly active in donating to organizations that help foster children. Most places the system is overwhelmed and Miguel enjoys seeing the looks on their faces when kids without much get to do something fun or get something that they can call their own. Of course Miguel would send some home to Mom and Dad as well. The leftovers would go towards Miguel's favorite (and expensive!) hobby: flying. Miguel got his private license when he got his first big SHL paycheck, and its something that he has continued to do since then. Owning your own airplane and flying it is a lot of fun but also very expensive so this bonus money would go a long ways to support his hobby.

When I get this money, I will put it all in the bank. With his last year in the SMJHL in St Louis next season, he doesn't have to buy a new house and his car is still new. He signed a contract with Texas after he's first season and he still have most of that money. He bought a house close to some of his teammates for him and his wife, and a car to get to the rink and to make some courses. Anthony Dionne decided that he will keep most of his money for the house he will have to buy next year in Texas. He will be there for the next 10 seasons so he will have to buy a big house to welcome he's family that will definitively get bigger in the upcoming years. The house can have a ranch and have a bigger land for his family. A carrer is short, so you have to take care of the money you earn.

Holden Steady has been thinking all season about how to effectively invest this bonus money. Ultimately, the career of a middling-quality defenseman isn't a sure-fire path to endless riches. In order to plan ahead for a successful future past his time on the ice, Steady is counting on the future development of hockey equipment. From things like protective equipment and helmets, to tools that assist in officiating, there will be no shortage of improvements to the game in the next couple of decades. The $750,000 earned in bonus this season will primarily go toward research and development tasks. Prototype equipment will be available for private testing within a year, and then improved quality gear will be on the market before Q3 of 2024. Maybe we'll have helmets that are designed to be more aerodynamic. Lacrosse helmets have a little fin on the back like it's some kind of spoiler, maybe there is some logic to using that in hockey. That's what the Holden Steady Foundation for Hockey Equipment is here for: we test out the bad ideas to turn them into good ideas.

I was going to try and come up with something sensible here but I can't type too much without thinking about things too personal so instead, here's the deal. Boots gets a big phat cheque. Boots buys himself his dream car, the Felicita Sorridere Sport 570. It costs thousands to get imported but it doesn't matter. This is the bonus cheque car. Boots spends thousands in gas and keeps in in storage so he can drive the car across the vast lands of Texas. Boots also has a great big party with a BBQ Catering service. Only the best Texas BBQ. A whole pig is put on as the whole team and their families come to celebrate. Drinks are consumed and a great time is had by all. Boots takes anything left along with additional funds probably and makes a large donation to the children's hospital. Boots forgets the donation date is after the party date and gets absolutely smashed at the party and still gets up for the hospital for pictures and meet and greets. It's a hard day but for Boots it was worth every cent and every penny.

All the money that Petr earns goes right back to the laboratory where we he was made and invested in bettering him and the program, afterall, the opportunity the expand the program is certainly exciting: the ability to make a full team of the perfect hockey players is a dream, but so is building a wing of the State Security agency designed to produce sleeper agents or other undercover operatives. For now, the cash goes mainly towards Petr, whether it be renting ice, custom equipment orders, more nutritious grey sludge, steroid-I mean do-good-juice, and anything else worth taking a look at that might better Petr's performance. Recovery is important too. Petr doesn't only skate on the ice and have dry-land training, he also has spa days and intense surgeries to replace all that he's lost or worn so far. At some point we might have a ship of theseus problem, but it is still Petr. Let's be honest, nobody expected Duncan Mackenzie to hit 50 goals this year, least of all himself. He had totally forgotten about that clause in his contract, seeing it as an impossibility. After all, no-one in the history of the Dragons Franchise had ever scored 50 goals before. Granted in the old days there were less games and they played a different style of hockey, but still 50 goals is a lot. And apparently only worth $750,000 to the franchise. Regardless, the first thing Duncan Mackenzie buys is a machine in his basement that allows him to practice hits. He installed his own rink down there, and now he will have a motorized, reinforced dummy that he can practice lining up. Honestly, it is both great practice and amazing stress relief. After that, he will take the team out for a huge expensive dinner, as he knows that 50 goals for his fat ass doesnt come without an amazing bunch of assists and helpers. Finally, he invests the rest. His goal after hockey will be to buy his own franchise.

Code: Creative Prompt A 750 grand bonus is a heck of a lot of money. In an ideal world, you have to think Benny's going to be smart about it--put some of it into mutual funds and stocks, send some of it back to his folks back home, keep some for his personal spending fund so he can have a little bit of fun. If you think less of him, you might think he's just going to blow the whole thing on a super expensive car or jetsetting across Europe or Asia, spending time in foreign locales and enjoying the world around him. Maybe you're a real son of a bitch and think Benny's gonna franchise a fuckin pizza place or something and bring some real-ass New York pizza to the west coast of Canada. In reality? He lives in fucking Vancouver, man. 750 grand might be just enough to pay his rent for a year if he's lucky. And that's just for a modest one bed, one bath apartment! Code: WC: 167 sigs by me bitch
