Instant win rule is if you miss the net and break the glass then it’s an easy win why wait for a replacement when u can call the game off and give them the win. I call this the Fluw Rule

My new rule will be whoever shoots the fastest shot that is not the fastest shot overall will win the game. So you have to be fast but not the fastest. I feel like that is almost impossible adn will give the SHL the randmomness we love.

I think that if a team gets over 5 minor penalties or 2 major penalties (without fights) in a game, they automatically lose the game, it would make the teams not risk taking penalties too much.

so like if you shoot the puck so hard into the net and maybe you put a hole in it that would be a crazy hard shot and if you do that the game ends.

My proposed new rule would be the inclusion of a small target on the bottom of the jumbotron. If a team can launch a puck up there and hit the target they instantly win. Missing the target but hitting the jumbotron would be a 5-minute major for the offending player, so this is more of Hail Mary for a losing team, but it could add a small degree of zany to the ends of games.

The rule is, if a player can shotgun a beer faster than 3 players on the other team, on the ice, during play, and does this without losing 3 times in a row, their team wins instantly

The new rule that I would add is that if you can kill a referee during the game and make it look like an accident you automatically win the game. The risk is that the player will go to jail if it isn't an accident and the reward is an auto dub.

like im sure everyone else in this thread posted, if you catch the golden snitch you win. It can be anywhere in the arena, teams will have players running through the stands, concession all that, full gear, trying to catch it.
(before the HP nerds come after me, I know catching the snitch in the books, only gives you 50 points and ends the match, not a guaranteed win, foh)

The new rule that I would make would be that if your goalie scores a goal at any point in the game then your team wins. It would be like the golden snitch of hockey and would make the game much more exciting.

A fun way to determine a team would auto win the game would be putting a tiny net on top of the glass directly behind the net. The net would be just large enough to get a puck in. If you get it in there, you win. It'll be nearly impossible to do, as it takes a perfect rising shot.

As a goalie who faces a great number of shots I would make it so if you save around 50 shots in a game your team instantly wins. I think it would add an interesting dynamic to the game because teams might not take as many shots or maybe they will and just really focus on their efficiency but there will be strategy involved.

There would be a golden puck hidden anywhere in the building. The healthy scratches players would look for it. The team to found the golden puck win the game. The game played on ice is meaningless.
