- What do you hope to get from your SMJHL team or what are you looking for in a team? a good group of people who tolerate all views and have a great atmosphere that everyone can truly enjoy being in.

- What are your general expectations of your juniors career? Are you looking for a long and successful career as a junior player, or are you hoping to be called up to the big leagues as soon as possible? I would like to take my time. Player development is important to me and I think If I try hard to go into the SHL asap, it will discourage me seeing not much production. When my player is ready with a good amount of TPE I will enter the SHL but again I am in no rush.

- Are you interested in joining a rebuilding team? as long as the locker room has a great atmosphere, I am mainly hoping to have friends than anything.

- If you can pick any SHL players who have ever played, what does your dream starting line up look like? I really cannot answer this as I do not know the history of the league. I will answer it with current players. Dwayne Gretzky, Ty Murphy, Jimmy Larkin-Conway, Puddles O'Duck, Angus McFife XVIII, and Skating Dino.

- Have you ever heard about Kelowna before joining this league? No I haven't haha, I actually google searched it the other day.

Being wet is the interaction with water itself, so technically water isn't wet, but practically, we only experience water one way, so it's always wet to us.

- What made you join the SHL?

I've been into simulation type leagues for a while though it's been many years since I've played in any, just haven't looked for them much since Discord killed a ton of old forums. Happened to find PBE and then by extension this league, and Hockey is interesting to make a player so here I am.

- What are your general expectations of your juniors career? Are you looking for a long and successful career as a junior player, or are you hoping to be called up to the big leagues as soon as possible?

This depends on my success in the minors and rate of development compared to the 2nd/3rd line players in the majors. I haven't done my full deep dive yet into all the rosters nor am I sure exactly how much TPE I will earn in the first season, so preferably I'd like to have a longer career in the majors but I'm also realistic and would want to get called up when I was in a good position to contribute and not just as insurance for inactivity or something. There is always WJC opportunities and the like to look forward to while in juniors.

- If you can pick any SHL players who have ever played, what does your dream starting line up look like?

G - Cale Amudson S57 (92.6% SV, 1.52 GAA - just a lockdown goaltender that season)

LD/RD - Hugh Jazz S61 and Lyle Odelein III S61 (not teammates but some experience playing against eachother, Hugh Jazz being the big passer and Lyle being the big hitter and shot blocker)

FWs - Luukas Lilja S66 (49g 58a) / Burlok Sulfurgold S63 (47g 36a) / Theo Morgan S59 (48g 54a) (two strong passer and goalscoring dual threat players with one focused scorer on the line, like my player would fill)

Maybe a little masochistic as a Toronto fan, but it just has to be Boston's comeback in game 7 against the leafs where they scored 3 goals in the last 15 minutes of the 3rd period to tie the game and then win in overtime. It just seemed like the game was already in hand and is always something I drift back to when I'm watching a game that feels out of reach early. Over it now but the sheer drama of the progression of the moment always stuck with me.

- Any hobbies you’ve been into lately?
Now this, but I have some projects working with GPT-3 models for various things. Just sort of playing around with different applications for AI generations (I write all my stuff here though! Yeahthat

)

- What is the best book you have read and why? (Comics included)

Habibi by Greg Thompson is a graphic novel in a fictional Islamic setting about two escaped child slaves. The imagery is diverse and it feels like you can read it multiple times or spend half an hour on a page and take different things from it. Very interesting book.

- What do you consider the most important part of a fun league experience?

Definitely the community vibe and interactions between members. If you wanted to, you could make your own player in any sports game and just sim all the matches and do your own development. What makes this unique is having all the other players around doing the same thing as you, which naturally creates friendships between players who work well together, rivalries against teams you see frequently in the playoffs, etc.

- What’s your favorite Pokemon? Why?

100% Klefki because it's the first pokemon that made me think they just might be getting lazy on the designs.

That's too hard. I loved The Expanse series (see player name), Cormac McCarthy has some masterpieces though, The Road, No Country for Old Men, All the Pretty Horses. But my favorite book is probably The Beach by Alex Garland. It's not the best book I've ever read but definitely my favorite.

We ended up winning it, but in the semi-finals, my skate blade broke. My coach went out to his truck, got his skates, I put 'em on, and ended up tying the game with something like 0.3 seconds left on the clock. It was either my first or second shift with those skates, they were attrocious, but we went on to win that one in OT. My dad bought me a chicken parm from Boston Pizza or something after, that was pre cool.

(Comics included) This girl in one of my psych classes in uni was reading this book that was like, hardcover burgundy with gold writing, I thought it was cool and asked what it was. At a very very young age I witnessed Montreal win their most recent stanley cup. In terms of more cognizant memories, there's the 6-5 SO comeback win vs the Rangers back when Koivu and Kovalev were still on the team.

I've really been getting into anime.

Slaughterhouse Five. I read it for a university course and really found myself drawn to Vonnegut's writing and the sardonic tone of the novel.

Interaction with your fellow users. That's why I think fostering a good locker room is by far the most important job for a GM at either level of the league.
