The original idea was "the only thing to do in town", but the marketing department thought it could discourage some free agents from joining the organization. "Kelowna Knights: bring your own wine" was also on the table, but the finance department thought it could have a negative impact on beer sales during games.

Since Kez has taken the reigns of the Dragons, its been working a turn-around on image because of the actions of someone who shall not be named.  Less focus now on chicken parm, more focus on getting the puck in the net (least season was just a tasting).
