To tune into the all-star game, it would be cool to see teams sorted North America vs World. I think it would be cool to make it closer to Olympic style and this could be altered a bit either way.
The hard part with the all star game is it is pretty much the same as a normal sim, which has lower viewership now. Maybe adding some sort of play-by-play element added to it? That might make it more interesting.

I just want to see endless line brawls, until the situation is reversed and the penalty box becomes the new bench and the bench becomes the new penalty box. That would break the game beyond its limits
You mentioned there were no bad idea's, so what I would like to see is a Mortal Kombat style event where each team sends in one of their fighters to try and demolish the others.
That is what true hockey is about.
I would love to see more goalie-focused challenges in the all-star game. One idea that comes to mind is having several people shoot a puck at one time, and see how many the goalie can stop. The goaltender who stops the most shot at one time wins.

I want to see an awesome musical performance at both intermissions. Get a SHLer or two to make some music and let it play during an intermission.
Probably some consistency on when its held, the standards of who gets in. Maybe advertise it a little more through the SHL announcements channel celebrating those that are selected. The way it is feels like a massive waste of time and effort for something so meaningless to anyone other those who may have their players selected.

I'm not sure what we could do within the scope of the sim to fix the all star game to be honest. For a lot of people if your player isn't in it then they don't care and even half of those don't. I do like the change to CW to add all star tasks and I hope that leads to more interest around the league.
