The college atmosphere has always been toxic to James, just like his opinions of the unathletic 30 somethings to fund said college athletics departments to make up for their or their kids athletic failure. His hate for the american athletic collegiate governing body also shows through here. In an interview Dion said, "I'd rather play in Saudi Arabia, at least they pay better" this got many folks fired up and was quite the misstep. But the point is still the same, the athletes who normally play here have raucus large crowds and don't see a dime of the gate. When James and co go play in that building, they see money from the gate.
Being a 2 sport athelete and real eastate investor. Dion plegded his Texas money from home games to the NIL fund that he uses to give athletes some of what they should bring in based off the crowds they draw. Even though the comments were quite turse, the actions that speak louder voice his displeasure for the college system but also takes the chance to do good in the world of college sports

Dusty Rhodes most certainly enjoys playing in a smaller college arena. It has more of a wrestling vibe to it and the crowd gets pretty rowdy. At our venue you see alot of kids sneaking beer bongs in and pounding beers during the games which pretty much always gets them kicked out. Dusty Rhodes even snuck a beer bong one time when the coaches weren't looking and the crowd went bananas! He wouldn't mind playing in a smaller arena all the time. You get to hear the fans and what they're actually saying which can get quite colorful. Rhodes feels this is an advantage for the Spectres since the fans are pretty creative at finding ways to get under the opponents skin. So while a brand new shiny stadium is going to be nice, Rhodes will certainly miss the atmosphere of the smaller college crowd and maybe he can even talk management into plying a couple games there during the season.

In this college stadium, the fans are known for their spirited antics and occasional rowdiness. While most actions are harmless and add to the excitement, there are instances where a fan might go too far and get kicked out of the stadium. Perhaps the craziest incident involves a fan attempting to smuggle a live chicken into the arena, hoping to release it during a particularly intense moment in the game. The stunt, while amusing to some, is promptly shut down by security, resulting in the fan's removal.
During moments of celebration, I occasionally join my teammates in jumping into the crowd for a celly. It's a thrilling experience to connect with the fans up close and witness their joy firsthand. The interactions with the crowd strengthen the bond between the team and the fans, creating a sense of unity and camaraderie. Playing in a college stadium offers a distinct charm that my player fondly remembers. The smaller size of the arena ensures that the fans are closer to the action, enhancing the intimacy and intensity of the games. The student section, in particular, stands out with its colorful displays, creative chants, and unwavering support. The electric atmosphere created by the passionate student body leaves an indelible mark on my player, fostering memories that will be cherished throughout their career.

Svoboda has really been letting this whole arena thing get to his head. Once he knew it was going to be named after him, his ego grew exponentially. After having been a very reserved player his whole career, he's really become quite insufferable to those around him.
That was until the puck finally dropped in his team's first game in the college arena. It was a much smaller venue, of course, but the atmosphere was electric. As the game started, Svoboda's mind went back to his roots, when he started playing hockey as a child. All those games he played around his country in rinks of many shapes and sized. He came to realize that the game remained the same everywhere he went. As the match went on, he became more and more focused on his game, and winning it for his team. As the game wrapped up, Svoboda left the rink with a whole new look on the game he so loved. 163 words W: 45 L: 17 OTL: 4 P: 94 W: 38 L: 26 OTL: 2 P: 78 W: 16 L: 44 OTL: 6 P: 38 W: 17 L: 48 OTL: 1 P: 35 W: 17 L: 41 OTL: 8 P: 42 W: 30 L: 33 OTL: 3 P: 63 W: 35 L: 29 OTL: 2 P: 72 W: 36 L: 28 OTL: 2 P: 74 W: 40 L: 22 OTL: 4 P: 84 W: 46 L: 18 OTL: 2 P: 94 | Challenge Cup

After counter bribery and some high-moral blackmail, the team finally convinced the gaffer to use actual contractors instead of his nephew to build the new stadium. So we can at least count on the ceiling to stay where it's at when we are playing or practicing. But that means that we are going to have to hang out at this dinky college rink for at least one more season before we get to enjoy the new facilities. And while not ideal, I still was grateful. It could have been a lot worse. At least we are getting to play! And besides, the majority of hockey fans stream the game at home anyways, so it's not like we're losing fans over this. If anything, these seats prices will be driven up because of demand and supply or something. People are going to want to claim they saw James Ward-Prowse play at their local rink before he became the SHL's best player.

Adrian O’Rugg is an absolute professional in these situations, he is used to playing hockey in very weird areas and backdoor private games. To achieve this he started a routine early in order to make sure he can keep up with the constant uncertainties that is playing professional sports. The first thing he does at least once every day is get a mcdonalds grimace birthday dinner meal, it frankly reminds him of his mothers cooking and really lets him get into the mood for his time off. It contains the nutrition necessary for an athletes body to compete at the top level, it keeps his brain sharp and his skin ultra soft. Since they dont have grimace birthday meals in places like belarus Adrian has to settle by instead getting a bunch before the trip and bringing them along with him. At this point the team staff knows they should bring a couple on the down low because if something goes wrong with the grimace birthday dinner meals it never ends well for anyone.

Written Task: Turns out your owner saw reason and hired union labor to build the stadium, which also appeased the belligerent councilperson (surely unrelated to the union's donation to her campaign fund). With construction well underway, you are now confident your team will only have to play one season in the college arena. Upon puck drop, you find yourself playing in a classic "college atmosphere."
Does your player enjoy it? What's the craziest thing a fan gets kicked out of the stadium for? Do you ever jump into the crowd for a celly? What's different about playing in a college stadium, especially that your player might remember fondly? If they're absolutely miserable the entire time, why? (150+ words) What a great time to be alive! The new arena is underway and the Kelowna Knights are going to get all the amenities that a professional hockey team deserves. But until that time arrives we get to play at UBCO campus and what a campus it is! There are an incredible amount of fans who keep this team fired up every single night. The other night we had an entire section dress up in spandex suits with team colours. They then had a beer funnel run from aisle 35 down to aisle 3. It was impressive the amount of beers they could fit in that funnel. I think the most painful fan interaction though was when the streamers tried to get across the ice. They didn't even get a full stride across before they both fell flat on their tears on the freezing ice. By the time they finally got them up and off the ice there was many parts of them that were bluer than they should be.

PLAYER PROMPT
Anyone that knows Atticus Hale personally or anything about his background knows that he is part of a hockey family. His father was a hockey coach, and before that, a player himself. It’s all Atticus knew as a kid and he embraced every part of that life. Being a coach’s son, Atticus was taught how to be self disciplined and to not let any of the outside noise become a distraction. As he rose through the ranks as a youth and teenager, his methods for maintaining focus changed and evolved with him of course. Things aren’t always so simple though and there have been points in Hale’s career where pressure or maybe a slump in production got to him and affected his play on the ice, but that mental toughness has always been there. Different situations call for different methods, so you might find Atticus with a set of headphones on listening to music to drown out his surroundings or perhaps seeking out a quiet space where he can take in the peace and quiet to clear his mind. Home, away, outdoor, that one weird exposition game in Belarus that you're pretty sure your owner was blackmailed into putting on, your player's job doesn't change. So, how does your player keep an even keel? What's their trick for mental reset and maintaining focus on their game despite the men with tracksuits and AK47s hanging out at the vending area? (150+ words) As has already been well recorded, Spack Jarrow is no stranger to guns and dangerous people. Amongst his many adventures on merchant vessels during his childhood and teenage years, Spack would often find himself exchanging products with artillery (light and heavy) present at the meetup. So this was just another trip down memory lane for him. Jarrow found himself spending much of his time assuring his fellow teammates of their safety. That and greasing the palms of the locals to provide extra "security". Even with all that extra excitement, once the puck drops and the game begins, the surroundings don't really matter. It is all about the game and getting that next goal. Sure the gunfire in the air after a goal can be a tad disconcerting when you aren't prepared but you really have to appreciate their team spirit. Overall, the "trip" was a success. We got the win and nobody got shot. Jarrow will be happy to be back home and can ditch the kevlar-shoulder pads. [ 168 words ]

SHL GM Jabbin' his Jelly Bean
Cormier thought it would be easy to play in a college arena for a little bit with the promiss of a better future over the horizon, but it wasnt nearly as easy as he had anticipated. The lack of spectacle, scale, that grandiose feeling that comes with playing in an SHL game against all the best players in the world was seriously undermined by the micky mouse club venue and 20% the usual fan capacity that he was used to. Fans play a huge part in the mental game for the home team and where there are so few people at your game, the mental games start playing against you instead of for you. To make matters worst the arena itself is very old and decrepit, so as the season went on and fans realized the shape the building was in, less and less people started showing up to the games. What was already a less than ideal situation was slowly becoming nightmare fuel for the upcoming star. Thankfully for him the nightmare shouldn't last too long.

Well, to be honest there isn't a lot that will phase someone like Pork Tenderloin. He's seen a lot in his relatively short life but none of it ever really seemed to bother him. He does what he's told and doesn't really seem to care one way or another. So going from place to place and playing hockey in a multitude of different environments is nothing short of interesting to him. Now, that's not to say that he doesn't have emotions at all. Tenderloin is a being which has emotions, thoughts, feelings, etc. But he simply doesn't let a lot bother him. He understands that some things are as they are and that some things are simply out of his control. So whether he's playing at home in Great Falls or playing overseas in an exhibition game in Belarus, it doesn't really seem to matter all that much to him in the end.
