The Edmonton Blizzard management team are proud to present season 74 of The Blizzies. The Blizzard had an amazing regular season winning the President's Trophy with a league best going 52-13-1 with 105 points, the cup defense campaign was off to a good start! Come playoff time, the team was firing on all cylinders easily cruising to a first round sweep of the Minnesota Monarchs. The time off between rounds seems to have cooled the momentum as the team fell 4-2 to the San Francisco Pride, who to their credit finally made it out of the first round since S71, they are definitely a team to watch out for. We look forward to next season as we have brought back the majority of the cup winning team along with a few pieces to bolster the depth of the team for another cup run.
