Comunicado Oficial: Scape Goat

Hello fellow Simulation Hockey League players and general managers alike. Let me briefly introduce myself as the Scape Goat. You of course don't deserve to know my real name but I've been nicknamed this throughout my very short wrestling career, so I figured I would use my nickname for now. I wanted to dip my toes into this wonderfully diverse and open minded league hoping for a fresh start in a new sport after being kicked out of wrestling for apparently "starting shit, being toxic" and "not being a team player". Now, I want to show that I actually AM a team player, I want to cooperate and I want to have a lovely time here. However, it's very clear that something has gone wrong as it's been over 72 hours and yet still, I wait for a J league team to pick me up from waivers.
Since I'm new to hockey, I figured I'd start off as a forward and try my hand at it, I got asked if I'd be willing to switch and I said absolutely. Because you see, I'm a nice guy. Teamwork makes the dream work etc. Since all but 1 team have decided to reach out, I start to wonder if external factors are at play here. Factors outside of my control. It's all a bit suspicious, have those wrestling corporate demons come back to bite me in the ass? Have they reached this league and gotten in contact with higher ups here and decided to blackball me from the league? Pfft, wouldn't be the first time a head office member did that to me in one of these sports leagues. I've spent my cash I saved up from my wrestling career to be here and train as hard as I can. I've bought the hockey equipment, I've signed up for the hockey training, I've chirped or whatever the hell that social media platform is trying to get my name out there and yet...nothing. What did I ever do to get shunned from this league? Not a damn thing, so I wonder if maybe I'm paying the sins for the friends I've made that recommended this league to me. Maybe, just like in my wrestling career I'm being Scape Goated again. All the Scape Goat wants is a fresh start and to have fun in the J Leagues and maybe just maybe I can get my life back on track. I wish all your teams and players the best of luck, I will continue to earn training experience and will keep trying to get on a team. However, this has left a sour taste in my mouth on how the league treats newcomers to the sport. This has left me with a lot to think about. Thank you for your time ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak ![]() Registered Senior Member
