My first interactions was pleasant with all the GMs and scouts of the SMJHL, it was nice to meet such friendly people who took their internet jobs so seriously and it really added to the appeal and my continuing involvement in the SHL. There were a lot of conversations, but the ones that stand out are with fluw and HFFO (not a tamper).

My first interactions were and always were great with everyone, I was welcomed in with great welcome and from amazing people. It was definitely a good first impression for sure

After i created, almost 4 years ago (wtf), it took some time to acclimate to the league. However, the anc acc was super helpful in getting me adjusted to how to approach the league. Good people, backed hard. A++++ would recreate again

I've retold this story a couple of times but I shall gladly say it again. After I created my player and signed up with the Anaheim Outlaws, my days were fantastic - full of lovely people that I'm glad to have met. Fun times.

When I created my player I joined at the same time as a friend and we both ended up being signed to the same SMJHL team, and instantly became rivals, so my first interaction with another player was an argument about who was the better player

My first impressions on the site were not great. For me joining back in S27, the site was still pretty young and I would say not very welcoming in the way of, nobody had spoken to me leaving me feeling overwhelmed and alone. Nowadays I love how the site has transformed and the community inside.

When I joined the site, I was unemployed and bored. That meant I had time to drop some media quickly. THe person who was most friendly to me during my pre-J draft process was @StamkosFan. People generally seemed pretty nice, and clearly I stuck around all this time.

It took a week or so before the drama started (RIP Gareth Rush).

I was a late create and barely made the cutoff for the J draft but then one user by the name of lespoils sent out a message at 3am in the morning and threw a flier at me during the draft, highly recommend scouting like this

Talls was the first user to scout me, really enjoyed the lead up to the J draft and was very confused about whether I had to role play or not.

Getting all those GMs messaging you asking questions is quite the entry to the league, it can be overwhelming in a good way. Also my draft year discord was a lot of fun, trying to figure out the mock.

It was amazing, meeting the GM of Carolina, also known as Sve7en, was awesome. Not only that but I got drafted beside two of the best people in the league in Frenchie and Faradian

my first impressions of this league after creating my first player were extremely confusing and overwhelming. its incredible how much this league has come and developed to better help new users.

I remember it being pretty overwhelming? Not necessarily in the sense of the people but I truly could not wrap my head around a forum based game. Once I did it for a bit I got a handle on it, but I remember thinking that I wouldn't stick with it. Probably would have bounced off of it if everyone wasn't so friendly!

When I first created my first player, Troy McClure Jr, I was told I was to late to be drafted, signed as a free agent, and instantly didn't like my build. I ended up shredding Troy Jr for tm3, number 14 on Luke's top 75 lists
