Written Task: How does your player train endurance and stamina? Which do they prioritize: endurance, strength, or skill training? What's the proper ratio between cardio and hard workout? As before, your player does not need to be correct. Feel free to write absolute madness, flex your knowledge of real-world athletic training, or anywhere in between.

Endurance is something that came almost naturally to Levin, as he's been a fan of trekking and hiking since he was a kid, as stated in earlier answers. Growing up next to the Swiss Alps does help tremendously, as he's used to dealing with lower oxygen intake and managing his energy. Unfortunately, in North America, there are less high peaks where you can naturally train your stamina, apart from his yearly trip to Yosemite (which he discovered when he was still playing with the Great Falls Grizzlies, and is now right next to his new home, San Francisco.) Instead, stamina is the one aspect of his physical training that Levin works on exclusively in gym sessions, starting his workouts with 30 minutes on the stationary bike, and ending his sessions with 20 minutes on the elliptical machine. He also prefers his weight repetitions, especially for his lower body and core, to be focused on the number of consecutive repetitions and not on his maximum weight, in order to build up a natural resistance to fatigue.

It’s very interesting to see Connor McDavid come to see me for playoff advice considering I have not had too much success in my current career. I think the Panthers are finally finding a rhythm this season and we could be the force that we knew we could be, but that still remains to be seen.

However, in order to get access to that secret workout routine, I will phone my agent, Roberto Martucci, and get him on the phone to get some tips for McDavid. He’s won a Challenge Cup and then was also Theo Morgan’s agent, who he helped develop and ultimately had a career where he won the Challenge Cup 4 times. Then once I get some tips from him, I will be able to find out what makes these players so good. What is the secret sauce that turns these seemingly normal people into gods when they strap some skates to their feet? I can’t wait to hear this…

so binko of the koivus is very particular in how he works out and exercises and generally keeps in tip top hockey shape for his simulation hockey games in the simulation hockey league for the atlanta inferno as a forward sometimes a winger sometimes a center and big hitter like im talking hits a lot and hits very hard. well in order to hit that much and that hard he has to be very strong and very quick so he likes to train his legs by running a lot every day and train his hitting by hitting punching bags even though it is a different type of hitting than the type that he does on the ice. now he also trains his brain by thinking about all of the ways he can hit on the ice in the simulated game like imagining the guy trying to deke and show some skill with the puck and generally being a good player and binko just lays him the fuck out! no one is allowed to be skilled and promote the game in front of binko! @micool132 nathangus and @Jepox sim dont agree with binko's methods

What I try to tell him I do through taking him places and having some deep conversations. Going through deep talks with david. I go through and talk about how he is doing and everything that has gone on. Showing that a lot of his worries come through all this going on in the team. How he keeps talking about others. Instead he can think of what he can do himself. Trying to make himself even better and even focusing on team morale as a whole.Trying to get to the deep problem and showing how much he has done already. instead of worrying about what he has not done so far. It is a simple thing, but it is hard to implement for most. HIs worry about the playoffs become a self fulfilling prophecy. By clearing the mind he can play his best work and be the best teammate in genearl to try and change the pattern that has been going on.

I'm getting sick and tired of these motherfucking hockey players appearing in my motherfucking dreams. I get pretty excited to hear that Connor McDavid from the simulated leagued called the National Hockey League (he found a way to rig the sim engine, I heard) wants to teach me to be a little less horrible at the sport but my smile quickly fades when he tells me the price for his wisdom. Has this idiot not seen my playoff record? I'm on a team that qualifies for the playoffs by the skin of its ass and then we're kinda like "yeah, just happy to be here, just want to have fun" and we lose to either Winnipeg or Edmonton. I don't know what Connor McDavid hopes to learn from me but it's just not going to help his career. Maybe he should ask his good buddy Sidney Crosby how he does it. If I knew, I would be doing it!

She trains by going on long runs/prowls in the wild and hunting for fresh fish near the rivers and small prey. The pouncing trains her ability to jump in and flex her muscles at the right time, thereby increasing her stamina, and spending all the time outdoors in various conditions helps buff her endurance. Rain or shine, hot or cold, doesn't matter. She is a predator and this is one way they get better. When she is home and now that she is older, Elly has her little brother and sister cubs to play with. Going long enough to tire each one of them out and teach them proper skills as a big sis is plenty fun and workout. She has an example to set and intends to show her family what a true hockey professional can do off the ice as well. All this and standard training with her team when team workouts happen of course.

Training endurance and stamina isn't the most difficult it's mostly just keeping at it over and over throughout the season and offseason to make sure you keep those legs up to going. It's also important to make sure that your lungs are up to snuff too so breathing exercises make sure you can make it either the entire game at high pace or those times when you really need to push yourself like getting stuck on extended shifts. I try to run a couple miles every other day at the least during the offseason to keep it up. During the season, like with everything else, just playing the games and some simple workouts here and there keep me good. Being on defense and playing big minutes it's pretty crucial to make sure that I keep that endurance as high as possible. I also think of the three, I prefer to keep up with endurance more than skills or anything. Even if I'm a pylon on the ice at least I can be on the ice.
