Playoff Squidcaps - Round 1
After taking a season off of writing due to not wanting to write a lot, the squidcaps will return this season. Recapping each series in each round highlighting standout performances and big games for each team throughout the playoffs. If you miss the sims or just want the general happenings throughout each round this will sum it up for you. I'm going to be breaking it down game by game for each series in a way that is hopefully easier to skim through rather than big in depth paragraphs. Northern Conference
Seed 1 vs Seed 8
Quebec City Citadelles (49-15-2) vs Kelowna Knights (13-48-5)
Series Result: Quebec City wins in 4
Game 1: 6-0 QCC A big shutout from Song Ju-gong with 27 saves closes the door on Kelowna's offense. Johnny Patey V2 had a big 4 assist game, 3WW Wingmate-Roc and Froya Solberg each tallied 2 goals, with Wingmate-Roc and Nor Ge finishing with 3 points each. Quebec completely dominated with 47 shots to Kelowna's 27, Kelowna won the faceoff battle though winning 60% of the draws. Game 2: 4-1 QCC Another 27 save game from Song Ju-gong allowing only 1 goal against. Quebec dominated in all aspects, outshooting the Knights 43-28, winning 54% of draws and outhitting Kelowna 29-19. Pohler Beargeron tallied their first career playoff goal and the only goal so far for Kelowna. Anna Skovgaard has a standout performance for Quebec with 2 goals including the game winner as well as a game leading 6 hits. Great defensive play from Skovgaard, Leo Roze, and Sonja Solberg are big reasons for Quebec's wins. Game 3: 7-5 QCC Quebec was eager to push the series to a 3-0 lead in this high scoring affair with the Citadelles outshooting the knights 51-45. A back and forth game would see Quebec's Wyatt King score a hat trick and Anna Skovgaard tally 3 assists. Froya Solberg would score two big two goals including the game winner off of assists from her sister Sonja as Quebec pushes Kelowna to the brink of elimination. Game 4: 5-4 OT QCC A back and forth game would see Kelowna's Grant Berd put up 54 saves and a .920 save percentage before falling to the Citadelles. Exchanging leads in the third period, it would be Froya Solberg calling the game with her first goal and third point of the game,15 minutes into overtime to send Quebec City into the second round. Bog Damsel would score the 4th goal and added an assist to go along with their 5 blocked shots and Johnny Patey V2 scored twice with 3 blocked shots. Quebec completes the sweep in overtime despite Kelowna pushing back hard in game 4. A deep Quebec City squad has Johnny Patey V2 and Froya Solberg both sitting at 2 points per game, with Froya and Wyatt King each having a goal per game. With 10 players sitting at a point per game and big performances from Song Ju-gong in games 1 and 2 and Froya Solberg in each game, Quebec is advancing quickly. Seed 2 vs Seed 7
Newfoundland Berserkers (44-20-2) vs Yukon Malamutes (24-36-6)
Series Result: Newfoundland wins in 6
Game 1: 8-2 NL Newfoundland dominated this one, outshooting Yukon 44-23 and having 20 takeaways to Yukon's 4. Only 2 players on Newfoundland didn't record a point in this one, with MattyJ and Pierre Mailloux both putting up 3 points. TheGreatOne was the only player with multiple goals tallying 2. Joe Degen, Slowpoke, Connor McDusty, Mac Griddle, Cracker Pizza and Olafur Atlason had 2 points each as well. Game 2: 3-2 OTW YUM Yukon edged out a win in this one, winning 63% of faceoffs while being outshot 48-23. Karter Mendenhall stood on his head with 46 saves and a .96 save percentage in order to steal the game. Ylib Kove had 2 goals in this one, scoring the first goal and the overtime winner 9 minutes into overtime. Slava-Ukraini Heroyam-Slava tallied a powerplay goal with 4 minutes left to tie the game. Yukon's defenders Mcbride, McLovin and Jackson combined for 15 blocked shots as they laid their bodies on the line. Game 3: 4-2 NL Launchpad McQuack put up 32 saves with a .940 save percentage and Pierre Mailloux tallied two assists as the Berserkers take the series lead in this game. A strong defensive game from Slowpoke had them score a power play goal and block two shots as well as kill off the only Newfoundland penalty in this game. Despite being outshot 25-34, the BErserkers took a 3-1 lead and never looked back. Game 4: 5-2 YUM Newfoundland outshot Yukon 42-31 and led the teams in takeaways with 15-6, but Yukon's Karter Mendenhall played lights out and put up 40 saves and a .950 save percentage. Elly Snow-Leopard had a 3 point night with 1 goal and 2 assists, Heroyam-Slava would pick up two goals including the game winner, with Hardison-Laurent and McLovin adding two points each. Dash Jackson and Peyton Mcbride had strong defensive games as each had 4 blocked shots with Mcbride adding 2 takeaways. Game 5: 6-3 NL Launchpad McQuack stood on their head in this one, making 45 saves as Newfoundland was outshot 33-48. A come from behind win, Yukon was leading 3-1 heading into the second period before a 4 goal second period with 2 power play goals would see Newfoundland take a 5-3 lead. 2 goals from Pierre Mailloux ended with the second being the game winner. Cracker Pizza and Olafur Atlason added two apples each and a big defensive game from Turtle Bob with 4 blocked shots and 1 takeaway sealed the win for the Berserkers. Game 6: 5-4 OTW NL The Malamutes came out flying in this one, outshooting the Berserkers 52-30 and taking a 4-0 first period lead. However, Launchpad McQuack would go on to not allow another goal and make 48 saves with a .920 save percentage. Jean-Luc Leduc would tally two assists on the third goal and the tying goal just 43 seconds apart in the third period. TheGreatOne would be the overtime hero in this one, tallying his second unassisted goal of the game just 2 minutes into overtime. Launchpad McQuack was insane in this series and big offensive performances from players throughout the lineup in key moments clutched out the series. Connor McDusty and Pierre Mailloux lead the way up front with 7 points each. Seed 3 vs Seed 6
Regina Elk (39-21-6) vs Vancouver Whalers (28-37-1)
Series Result: Vancouver wins in 7
Game 1: 6-2 REG A lopsided game for Regina as they outshot Vancouver 47-18, outhit them 31-17 and won 58% of faceoffs. Multiple players stepped up in this game, with Mary Hollywood getting 1 goal and 1 assist. Bean Beanman Jr had the game winner and 2 goals total, Violet Stoica scored the first goal and added the last goal of the game. Quevillon, McClure IIII, and Baardsen also picked up 2 points each in this one. Game 2: 5-0 VAN Vancouver's Masked Stanger stole this one for the Whalers by putting up 40 saves and a shutout. Outshot 31-30, the Elk won the faceoff battle with 54% and scored on the power play to secure the win. Nicholas Wastlund and Cristoforo Roccamontepiano each put up 2 points in order to push the Whalers ahead. Great team defense was able to weather the storm for Vancouver, with defenders David Vent and Andy Lammers each blocking 4 shots and tallying a goal. Great defensive performances from Groaty Bronson and Trevor Lopez also pushed Vancouver to the win. Game 3: 7-1 REG An incredible game from Regina's second line and goaltender Roman Cechmanek II saw Cechmanek II put up 30 saves and a .970 save percentage. The combination of Inge Baardsen, MAry Hollywood and Bean Beanman Jr. saw Mary and Inge each put up 2 goals and 2 assists and Bean Beanman Jr. had 5 points with 2 goals and 3 assists. Mary Hollywood's first goal would end up standing as the game winner. A strong defensive game from Jasmin Quevillon as the winger put up 2 blocked shots and 2 assists. Defenders Troy McClure IIII and Crazy Tomato II each put up 3 blocks as Regina takes the win. Game 4: 3-2 VAN Vancouver jumped out to an early lead in the first period and would never look back as Masked Stanger put up 26 saves and a .930 save percentage to win the game for the Whalers. Roman Jalopski scored in the first period for Vancouver, Robo Sven scored in the second, and Andy Lammers scored off a feed from Jalopski just a minute into the third to take a 3-0 lead. Regina would make a third period push to make it 3-2 but Vancouver tightened up defensively and earned the win. A great defensive game by Ville Sato-Maki saw them put up 5 takeaways and Trevor Lopez had 2 takeaways and 2 blocked shots to shut down the Elk's offense. Game 5: 4-3 OTW REG The Regina Elk took this one after a back and forth game. Outshooting Vancouver 48-36 with 20 takeaways to 8, Regina had a huge performance from Bean Beanman Jr. in this one. Beanman Jr. put up a hat trick by scoring all regulation goals for the Elk as the teams exchanged leads throughout the first and second period. Roman Cechmanek II was great in goal for the Elk and put up 33 saves, only having to face 5 shots in the third period plus overtime. Bean Beanman Jr would put up his fourth point of the night assisting on Thomas Harley's game winner 8 minutes into overtime. Game 6: 4-1 VAN Vancouver dominated the faceoff dot in this one, winning 60% of the draws and outshooting Regina 36-28. Vancouver jumped out to an early 1-0 lead 34 seconds into the game and Regina wouldn't reply until a minute into the third period. Niclas Wastlund opened the scoring for Vancouver and would score the first two goals for the Whalers, with the second standing as the game winner. Masked Stanger would continue on a crazy first round performance with 27 saves and a .960 save percentage to backstop them to a win. Game 7: 3-2 OTW VAN An Even game all around, the Elk were slightly better in this one but Vanouver's Masked Stanger came up big yet again. Putting up 41 saves and a .950 save percentage, Stanger has just put up a phenomenal performance so far and leads the league in saves made with 202. David Vent opened the scoring for Vancouver 2 minutes into the game, but Inge Baardsen would score just 21 seconds later off a feed from Bean Beanman Jr to tie it up. Bean Beanman Jr. would go on to take the lead for Regina with his second point of the game, but Vent would tie it up yet again with a power play goal 42 seconds later. Robo Sven would end up being the Game 7 hero for the Whalers as they came back from a 3-2 series deficit to advance to round 2. Defender David Vent has been great for the Whalers so far, putting up 5 goals and 7 points in the first round and Masked Stanger sits as the leader in saves made while putting up a .927 save percentage with a 2.56 GAA. Great Falls Grizzlies (35-26-5) vs Anchorage Armada (32-32-3)
Series Result: Great Falls wins in 6 games.
Game 1: 3-2 ANC Anchorage took a game in Great Falls after being outshot 30-15, scoring on the powerplay to get on the board. A tight offensive game, Stun Gun put up 28 saves and a .930 save percentage to backstop his team to a win. Deep Thought picked up 2 assists, helping Jesus Murphy get the first goal and Squilliam Fancyson get the game winner. Game 2: 3-2 OTW GFG Great Falls dominated the faceoff dot winning 66% of draws and outshot the Armada 45-28. Going down 2-1 to Anchorage, James Howlett scored with 3 minutes left in the third to force overtime with his second goal of the game. Icee Richradson would be the overtime hero for Great Falls getting his second goal of the playoffs. Argenti Gorilla had a great defensive game with 1 blocked shot and 4 takeaways. Game 3: 6-1 ANC A low shot affair saw the Armada capitalize on their chances and come out with the win despite being outshot by the Grizzlies 20-29. Stun Gun only allowed 1 goal with 28 saves to put up a .970 save percentage. Jefferson Steelflex had 3 points and Deep Thought potted 2 goals including the game winner to clinch up the win. The Grizzlies scored first but a 6 goal run for Anchorage secured the win. A strong game from Deth Klaw as they blocked a crazy 6 shots and picked up an assist, laying it all on the line for their goaltender. Game 4: 4-1 GFG Another tightly contested game between these clubs, shots were fairly even 28-24 in favour of Great Falls with the faceoffs decidedly in their favour winning 65% of them. Both teams scored in the first period, Anchorage scoring first with Poiklm scoring for Great Falls only 17 seconds later. James Howlett would put up 2 points with an assist on the game winner scored by Vyzovsky and a late 3rd period insurance goal. The game was 2-1 up until the final 20 seconds which would see Great Falls strike twice in that span. Goaltender Elvar Gil-Galad made 23 saves in this goaltender duel. Game 5: 3-2 OTW GFG Great Falls would tilt the ice their way in this one, winning 60% of the faceoffs and outshooting the Armada 38-24. A pair of late first period goals by the Grizzlies would take a 2-1 lead up until 5 minutes into the third period. Anchorage would tie it up and we would see both teams turtle up until overtime. With just 48 seconds left in the first overtime period, James Howlett would come out and score the game winner to push the series to 3-2 Great Falls. Elvar Gil-Galad made 22 stops and had a .920 save percentage for the Grizzlies. Game 6: 4-1 GFG A low shooting affair in this one saw the teams exchange only 47 shots combined as no team wanted to give up an easy chance. Anchorage's Keenin struck first with 6 minutes left in the first period to take a 1-0 lead, but John Peanut would tally a goal 6 minutes into the second period to tie it at 1-1. Thomas Hudson would score the eventual series clincher 5 minutes into the 3rd period and Reapolitik Devious Heghog would score 27 seconds later to shock the Armada and push the lead to 3-1 Great Falls. A 21 save performance from Elvar Gil-Galad and a big defensive game from Niclas Sundqvist who blocked 2 shots and had 2 hits helped secure the win. Dave Bardizz was a big performer as well, tallying 3 assists in this one. Contributions throughout the lineup have left Great Falls in a great state so far in the playoffs. After a shaky start to the series, Gil-Galad strung together 3 amazing performances and helped the Grizzlies take out Anchorage. Southern Conference

Maine Timber (42-21-3) vs St. Louis Scarecrows (19-43-4)
Series Result: Maine wins in 5
Game 1: 3-1 MET A close game between clubs saw Maine edge out a win, shots were fairly even 35-31 in Maine's favour and St. Louis went 0/3 on the powerplay. Shotty McStopper made 30 saves and had a .970 save percentage to lead their team to victory. Gewmba Stolemamoney had the game winner for the Timber and strong defensive games from Edouard Lavoie, The Cod Father and Kristians Mikelis cemented the team's win. Game 2: 5-4 OTW MET A crazy game for both clubs saw St. Louis jump out to a 3-0 lead with Scar Bealey putting up 4 points and Alexa Johansen tallying 3 assists. That lead evaporated with a goal with under 4 minutes to play in the second for Maine as they would rattle off another 3 to climb back to a 4-3 lead halfway through the third period. Ace Guilded would score the go ahead goal, his third point of the night. Nathan Abel would score a late powerplay goal off of a feed from Johansen and Bealey with just over 5 minutes remaining. Overtime would last a long time before the game winner was scored 19 minutes in, with Dwayne Swanson burying a feed from Edouard Lavoie and Jacppo Nummilavin. St.Louis's Evil Kyle Murray made 50 saves and had a .910 save percentage but Maine would take the win in this one. Game 3: 6-2 STL St. Louis would come out motivated, scoring the first 2 goals in this game and Evil Kyle Murray would stand on his head and make 44 saves to secure the win for the Scarecrows. Maine would tie it up late in the first period but the Scarecrows would strike with 4 unanswered goals to clinch the game. Nathan Abel led the charge on offense with 2 goals, while Morandi and Bealey added 2 assists each. Alexa Johansen and Emile Dionne would both chip in a goal and assist to secure multi point games in their first win of the series. Mason Chernezky was incredible on defense and blocked 8 shots including a couple on the penalty kill. Game 4: 4-3 OTW MET Maine would come out a bit flat in the first period but heat up towards the third. Outshooting the Scarecrows 43-26, St. Louis's Johansen would score twice in the first period to put Maine into a 2-0 deficit. Dwayne Swanson came out and scored with 25 seconds left in the second period to pull within one goal, then strike again with their second goal 10 minutes into the third period. Nathan Abel would put St. Louis in front with 8 minutes to play but an extremely late tying goal from Maine's Kobe frobe with 14 seconds left would force overtime. Coming in extremely clutch, Dwayne Swanson would complete the hat trick just 14 seconds into overtime on the first shot to push Maine to a 3-1 series lead. Game 5: 7-1 MET Maine came out with their foot on the gas and pushed a Scarecrows team to elimination in this one, outshooting St. Louis 50-28, outhitting them 31-17 and taking the puck from them a ton. Jean-Jacques Francouis Jacques-Jean scored on the power play just 6 minutes in assisted by both Edouard and Mia Lavoie. Dwayne Swanson would put up his second hattrick in back to back games including the game winner in this one as well as scoring a shorthanded goal to clinch the game for the Timber. Shotty McStopper had a great night with 27 saves and a .960 save percentage and great defensive performances from Ace Guilded, Kristians Mikelis, and Jaccpo Nummilavin would close out the series. A series that was a lot closer than the result indicates, if the puck bounced differently in 2 games it could have been a 3-1 series lead for St. Louis. Maine moves on with their top forwards lighting it up in Game 5 and Dwayne Swanson's back to back hat tricks. Seed 2 vs Seed 7
Carolina Kraken (42-21-3) vs Ottawa Highlanders (24-38-4)
Series Result: Carolina wins in 6
Game 1: 5-4 OTW CAR Carolina takes this one after special teams were the story of this game. Fairly even in other metrics, Ottawa would outshoot Carolina 40-26 in this one though. Ottawa's first playoff goal in franchise history would come from Benji Hockiwi 13 minutes in on the powerplay. Carolina's Denebor Milasch was solid between the pipes with 36 saves and a .900 save percentage. Rodrigo Banes, Olivija Agate and Walter Melon were standout players for the Kraken, with Banes grabbing a goal and an assist to go along with 6 hits and 2 takeaways. Olivija Agate scored twice as the defender racked up 4 hits and a blocked shot, and Melon picked up 6 hits and 2 assists in the win. Carolina ran into some penalty trouble allowing two goals on the penalty kill in this game, and even allowing Ottawa to get a shorthanded goal to tie the game and force overtime. Agate was the hero 8 minutes into overtime, scoring off a feed from Vitaliy and Banes to end it. Game 2: 5-0 CAR Carolina came out strong in this game, scoring twice in the first period and outshooting Ottawa 34-28. Denebor Milasch had 28 saves enroute to their first shutout of this playoffs. Jack "Jumpshot" Keigan had the game winning goal and put up 7 shots against the Highlanders. Banes, Swedish Chef, Guiseppe, Smith and Agate all tallied 2 points each in this game. With Agate pushing to their 4th point in 2 games as a defender. Game 3: 8-3 CAR Carolina would dominate this game after coming out flat in the first few minutes of the game, falling to a 1-0 deficit just 2 minutes in before rallying and outshooting Ottawa 36-23. A big night from the defense core of the Kraken as Max Belcher had 3 assists and 3 blocks and Olivija Agate added 1 goal, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. Arseniy Vitaliy and Peppi Guiseppe chipped in with three points each as well and the Kraken would run away with this one in the second period after breaking a 3-3 tie. Game 4: 5-2 OTT Ottawa scored three times in the first period and held Carolina to no goals until the final half of the third period to win this one 5-2. Tanner Pitts stopped 22 shots and put up a .920 save percentage as the Highlanders outshot the Kraken 27-24. Benji Hockiwi came up big in this one, putting up 3 points, 3 blocked shots, and 4 hits to lead the team to victory. Joe Biggs put up 2 assists and a standout performance by Jacob Maccabees saw them put up a goal and assist as well as 2 blocked shots and 1 takeaway. The first playoff win in franchise history, the Highlanders are looking to rally back as the series goes to game 5. Game 5: 4-1 OTT Coming out hard in the first period the Highlanders would jump out to a 2-0 first period lead before Benji Hockiwi tallied their second goal with 2:22 left in the second period. Ottawa's defense was phenomenal in this one with Demir Bellona putting up 4 blocked shots, 4 hits, and 4 takeaways and Newton Campbell would block 3 shots and get 2 takeaways. Tanner Pitts held them in with 37 saves and a .970 save percentage in order to force a game 6. Game 6: 4-1 CAR With everything happening in the first 10 minutes in this one, Carolina scored twice in the first 2 minutes before Ottawa replied at the 2:30 mark of the first period. Peppi Guiseppe would make it 3-1 Carolina just 7 minutes into the game and the Kraken were content in sitting on the lead and possessing the puck for the rest of it. Max Belcher scored the game winner just 1:29 into the first period and Carolina would shut down everything the Highlanders would throw at them afterwards. Denebor Milasch made 22 saves for Carolina as they move on to round 2. Ottawa put themselves in a hard position to climb out of but battled back to force the series to 6 games. Carolina's offense has run through their back end, with Olivija Agate leading the team in scoring 8 points as a defender. The defensive core of Belcher, Smith, have each scored 4 points while Gablogian and Emu have tallied 3 each as well. With 7 point per game players, Carolina is onto the second round. Seed 3 vs Seed 6
Colorado Raptors (39-21-6) vs Detroit Falcons (29-34-3)
Series Result: Colorado wins in 4
Game 1: 5-1 COL Colorado would score first then never look back in this one, scoring three times in a 5 minute span in the first period and taking a 3-1 lead that they would only build off of. Herman Stahl stood on their head with 33 saves and a .970 save percentage as the Raps clutch this win out. Leonard Wood had 3 assists as well as 2 hits and 1 takeaway, while Baron Samedi and Smirnov Light III each had 2 points. Game 2: 4-3 COL Colorado ended up taking this back and forth matchup, outshooting Detroit 46-27 and putting up 37 hits to their 19. Pinli Switchbang opened the scoring with a powerplay goal two minutes into the game and La Sombra would score to make it 2-0 just a minute into the second period. Detroit would score two goals just 12 seconds apart with Conner Ray and Will Tomlander grabbing a goal each to tie it up. Nathangus McExplosion scored early in the third to take a 3-2 lead, with Simon Science scoring for Detroit to make it a 3-3 tie with 4 minutes left. Just over a minute later Smirnov Light III would score a huge goal to get the win and a 2-0 series lead for Colorado. Game 3: 5-2 COL Colorado would be outshot 30-45 by the Falcons but would come out with a big win in this one. Herman Stahl put up 45 saves and a .960 save percentage as they've been in peak playoff form so far. Hashbrown O'Fink and Andrade La Sombra would each score twice to lead the team to a win. Pinli Switchbang would score as well and add an assist to pick up 2 points, Slurpe put up two assists as well. Strong defensive games from Leonard Wood and Trent Wiseman helped the team lock up the win. Wiseman blocked 6 shots with 1 takeaway and Wood added 3 blocks a takeaway and led the team in hits with 5. Game 4: 5-1 COL Colorado would bring out the brooms in game 4 and Herman Stahl continued their outstanding play with another .960 save percentage game stopping 27 shots. Shadow Fenix put up a hat trick and Colorado was never really in trouble in this one. Outshooting Detroit 41-28, they took a 2-0 lead and built it up to 5-0 before Detroit got their first goal with 5 minutes left in the third period. A strong defensive game by Oranj Konhe as they blocked 6 shots and Trent Wiseman continued his defensive game with 2 takeaways. Raw Cheese McPickle had 2 assists with 1 blocked shot and 2 takeaways to help secure the win. Colorado advances with a convincing sweep over the Falcons, with Herman Stahl playing outstandingly. With everyone on the team scoring, Pinli Switchbang and Leonard Wood lead the way with 6 points and 10 players on the team are sitting at 4+ points in 4 games. Seed 4 vs Seed 5
Nevada Battleborn (36-23-7) vs San Diego Tidal (33-32-1)
Series Result: Nevada wins in 5
Game 1: 5-2 NBB Nevada went out and took an early lead, scoring twice in 15 seconds in the first period, off of goals from Rivera and Kalashnikov. They would enter the third period up 3-0 before a 2 goal run from San Diego as Daquavion Davis II scored the first playoff goal in franchise history. Connor Simard and Trent Rivera would get two more for Nevada as they take this one 5-2. Just Perfection was great in net with 28 saves and a .930 save percentage to lead his team to a win. Game 2: 10-1 NBB Nevada would run away with this one, scoring 3 goals in the first and second period before closing it out with 4 in the third period. Literally Wizard tallied a hat trick and 5 points, Connor Simard put up 2 goals and 2 assists and Nevada would put up a bunch of points to close this one out. Nevada scored two power play goals and two shorthanded goals in this game. Game 3: 7-3 NBB Nevada keeps up the offensive pressure against the Tidal in this series, outshooting them 41-36 and winning a staggering 70% of the faceoffs. San Diego did strike with 3 power play goals with two of those coming in the first period, but a 6 goal run by Nevada with 4 in the third period to make it 6-2 made it hard for San Diego to come back. Just Perfection put up 33 saves and a .920 save percentage and players all throughout the lineup chipped in on offense to win the game. Outshooting Nevada 45-31, going even on draws 52%-48% and scoring on their only power play. Meo Vanbiesbrouck had 31 saves and pitched a shutout in order to grab the first playoff win in franchise history as well as the first playoff shutout in Tidal history. Brandon Gilleyes and Sam Volta had their fingerprints all over this one, each scoring twice and earning 2 assists each. With a 4 point night from both Tidal forwards, a convincing win pushes the series to a fifth game. Game 5: 4-0 NBB Nevada has flexed their offensive muscle throughout the series but beared down to win a more defensive battle in this one. A shutout from Just Perfection as they made 24 saves would blank the Tidal in this one. With no goals until 6 minutes into the third period, Literally Wizard would open the scoring and strike again with another goal just 32 seconds later. A shorthanded goal from Jim Weiners would push this one out of reach for the Tidal. Nevada is on a roll so far in these playoffs, with Just Perfection rocking a 2 GAA and a .939 save percentage so far. The top dogs on offense have been cooking, with Wizard and Rivera each having 1 goal per game with Wizard sitting at 2 points per game. 9 point per game players are making Nevada a scary team to face. ]
