This is my first season in SHL as I am in the junior league. I am thankful that this place has a great community and I am still learning. Currently, developing my player’s defensive built style. Unfortunately, I came in mid-season so the chances to win awards or be nominated are low. Jacob’s stats are great as his shot percentage is 28.57% which is high for a defenseman. I plan on increasing that and it is my hope that before I am drafted to join SHL team, I can help Ottawa Highlander to win their first 4 cup. What needs to be improve? Obviously the defense needs to be tighter so I will increase some stats. Planning on using WCJ to gage where Jacob needs to be as we are now in post season. Then returns next season as it will be his first time to play a whole season to come out strong.

Theo Kane's first SMJHL season has officially passed and it is wild how quickly it flew by. We were about 3/4's of the season done and I remember looking at the league statistics and thinking to myself how it feels like I've only just gotten my feet wet into the league and the first years already near completion. The SHL draft is literally right around the corner! In terms of on-ice production, Kane had a pretty average first year. He got pretty limited ice-time throughout the season which included essentially no special team time but still managed to put up 35 points which I guess is a positive. I do like the fact that he laid out 170 hits. Next season the expectations are going to be high. I should be getting a considerable amount of ice-time and I really want to capitalize off it and have a strong final 3 years in the SMJHL and hopefully capture gold with Detroit.

The first SMJHL season for Highlanders goaltender Bishop Van Apeldoorn was an overall success. Bishop was signed as an undrafted player after the start of the season so he was at a slight disadvantage. He made his debut in the Highlanders' 20th game of the season against the Nevada Battleborn where he stopped 36 of 40 shots. Despite the loss, Bishop managed a 0.900 save percentage. 5 games later, he made his 2nd start against the St. Louis Scarecrows. Not only did he get his first career win, he stopped all 27 shots to earn the shutout. Bishop played a total of 19 games throughout the season, putting together a 7-10-0 record with 2 shutouts. It's safe to say that Bishop exceeded expectations as an unknown rookie goalie. Bishop's favorite moment has to be his first win where he also got a shutout. However, Bishop has a few areas to improve, mostly his stamina as he's expected to take the role of Ottawa's starter next season.

Overall, my rookie season in the SMJHL was a wild ride, from start to finish. Overall, I think I did alright, but there's always room to grow. I came in with high expectations to make a mark as a physical left winger who can provide a lot of offensive pressure. I met some goals, but I know I've got more to give. Mostly more goals to give, and also more assists would be good as well.

Unfortunately, even a man like me has flaws. Sometimes I was unstoppable, and sometimes I was just a big ol' body on the ice. Working on staying consistent will be my focus for next season.

There were definitely some unforgettable moments. Playing in the postseason was a childhood dream and the first time I stood up for a teammate in a fight felt right out of the movies, especially since I won.

All I know is that I'm preparing for war and ready to put in the work this offseason to come back even stronger.

The first season in the SMJHL for Émile Dionne was okay at best haha! The good news is that he still managed to get at least 10 goals with one of the worst team in the league. With his 31 points in 53 games, he's over 0,5 points per game (0,58) so he knows he can be an offensive player in this game. Being one of the youngest people in his draft class, he's got a lot of room to get better and exploit his great potential. 
Of course he would have like to help the team more offensively, but being a rookie on the 3rd line it's really hard to produce offensively. With Average Dude leaving the team next season, there will be a place for him on the second line with another Québécois, Louis Bélanger. So with that and a team that will be overall better, doubling his production would be his goal. If it's not happening next season, then it will be the next that he will reach the point per game.
In this off season, he will need to get better offensively because his responsible for too many giveaways.

Overall, I think I had a decent season. I was drafted by a team that is absolutely stacked, so I knew from the get-go that I would not get many opportunities to play on special teams, but this was a sacrifice that I was willing to make, because I knew our team would have a proper shot at winning the championship. In terms of the performance of the team I played for, it went fantastically, as we got 100 points during the regular season and won the regular season title. From a personal standpoint, I got 17 goals and 41 points in 66 games which is good, but I didn’t like the fact that I had a significant decline in my performance during the second half of the season if I compare it with the first half. For next season, I hope I can contribute more offensively, and I also want to be able to improve my defensive game to put myself in a spot where the coach can trust me in every situation.

This year I met my expectations for over 25 assists but I didn't meet the expectations to get 25 goals and 50 points. Overall I call this season a success because this was the first time I was really active and I'm very happy for that. I got 5 points in 12 games in the playoffs which is really good. I will really remember my rookie season as the first of many seasons for Marian Hanak and the locker room was pretty great and I look to have a great draft day and a good second season in the smjhl. Even though we didn't get to the heights we wanted to Great Falls was outstanding this season and that first line of guys like polkim Gibbles john peanut and others for helping me build my player this year. But overall this was a great first season for Marian and I hope we have a great future in the shl

I definitely cannot complain, I am pretty sure I got all tpe available besides fantasy which is a first for me. I was 6th on the team in points as a rookie which I think is pretty darn nifty, with 16 goals and 24 assists for 40 points im really looking forward to seeing what I can do with some more attributes upgraded. I really did not have any expectations of how my player would perform, being the teams first season its not something that is easy to foretell. And of course being on a new expansion team theres still really no telling what will happen in the future. but I am extremely confident in the management group of this team and I’m sure it will not be long before we are a powerhouse team. We already have been grabbing more and more great players whenever available and I am sooooo excited to see what we can do with our second draft.

Overall, I had a wild and wacky first season in the SMJHL. From being picked up in the waivers by the Battleborn after missing the draft. To having a very solid first season as I will look forward to taking over as the Battleborn starter in the next season. The path for me was certainly not standard being a late signup. I almost met my season goal of having a .900 or above, which I certainly believe I can obtain in the following season. My long term goal was to become a starter, so I feel I am on pace to do that. A mid-table team, and almost having a .900 is overall really good in my opinion. I really loved getting to know my teammates and certainly did miss it from prior careers I had. Overall, I am now super stoked for the SHL Draft and just can't wait for the next season as this first was such a blast.

I didn't set any expectations on myself going into my first season so I'm rather satisfied with the 38 points I ended with when for most of the season I was only given one spot on the ice. Many rookies scored higher, but those same rookies were also placed in more favourable positions on the ice. For improvements, I've had many penalties and much of that came from the 5 hitting. Bringing that up to hit legally shall help keep me on the ice for longer and perform better. As I'm still new and plan to full earn, I'm excited to see how my 350 TPE build will perform next season. Admittedly, there was a pattern I noticed! A few times I would score once, and then Nevada would be beaten shortly after. The first time it happened was my first point on the season against Carolina with a 1-10 point loss. Managing to squeeze out a point in a game we got trounced were honestly some of the most amusing games.

This season has been a strange one for TheGreatOne. I was lucky enough to get signed as a UDFA 17 games into the 76 season by one of the best teams in the SMJHL, The New Foundland Berserkers. Which at the time of this writing were just eliminated 4 games to 1 in the conference finals. For not playing a whole season (53 games) i feel like i performed really well! 18 Goals 24 Assists 42 Points. Hardly any Penalty minutes taken, fairly low +/- of -6 and a Shooting % of 15.8. Hope to be more of a difference maker next season especially on special teams where i got a pitiful 2 seconds of PPTOI and 16 seconds of SHTOI.

I definitely exceeded my personal expectations heading into my 1st season, really couldn't have asked for a better performance with the situation i was given. My most memorable moment didn't take long to happen, in my 5th game with the berserkers TheGreatOne registered his first career Hat-trick (the 1st of hopefully many)

As the first season of Emeric Gagner's career in the J comes to a conclusion, now is as good of a time as any to look back at how that season went. Gagner came into the season touted as one of the most well rounded rookies, though his stats certainly did not seem to reflect that given that he ended with a dismal -41 rating. Although it is hard to fault him too much given the team he was on.

He did score an admirable 24 goals, however, putting him amongst the top of the rookie class. A meagre 14 assists put him at a total of 38 points. All in all, Gagner was able to demonstrate that he can be a solid goal scorer for his team, but he really does need to clean up the rest of his game. Of course his defense could improve a fair bit but I think it's fair to say he was expected to pick up a few more points in total, too.

Well what a whirlwind season it was!. Doug Weight went surprisingly high in the SMJHL draft to the Maine Timber and was their first pick of the draft. I wasn't expecting to go high due to my lower TPE and some comments made about me by a few GMs. Regardless, I put my best foot forward and have been doing everything I can to catch back up in TPE and help Maine out however I can. I started the season as the third line centre and ended in the same spot haha. That's ok though as the two players ahead of me are mountains out there compared to me. I did my best as more of a defensive player and penalty killer and I think I did a good job. Along the way, I managed 47 points in 66 games and 14 goals. Some great numbers as a rookie on a contender. Although my role in the playoffs hasn't increased, I feel like I've done a good job helping the team win as much as we have. Now we are headed to the League Finals! Hoping for the best. Next year I need to improve on some of my physical traits as I'm sure more ice time will be coming my way
