When I joined the league in January of this year, one of the scouts I spoke with talked to me about how the league used to have live sims of the all-star games utilizing NHL 09. Ever since that conversation I have been searching for something similar to bring our players to life in another form. Well, with the Steam summer sale going on I purchased what little hockey games exist out there for PC and landed on one that gave me the tools to bring a part of our league into a playable hockey game. Tape to Tape was that game.
 
With this medium I added all the J league logos, created each J league team and imported players from each of those teams. Unfortunately, this game does not allow line changes, so I only imported the starting 5 as given to me by the index and each team’s starting goalie. I utilized the ratings for each player as of 7/5/24 and used a formula I came up with to convert our SHL attributes into Tape to Tape’s attributes.

Below is a link to a spreadsheet with each skater and goalie on the roster and their attributes. I also attached a video showing each team and their jerseys. If you own Tape 2 Tape and would like to add these mods to your game, I have also included a link to the google drive containing the folders for the teams and roster. Here is the pathway for where to place these folders:

For PC - Windows: C:Users/[your Windows username]/AppData/LocalLow/Excellent Rectangle/Tape to Tape.
**Note: you will need to enable show hidden files in File Explorer, as the AppData folder is hidden by default.

For Steam Deck - /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1566200/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Excellent Rectangle/Tape to Tape

You can either replace the existing folders with the two folders in the google link or copy and paste the files into the correct folders. If you need help with this, please feel free to reach out.
