With Theo Kane's career only beginning and him being a quieter guy in general, he has really fallen back and let the veteran leaders of the Detroit Falcons like Brayden Point, Anastasia Soderstrom, and even fellow season 77 draftee Roquefort Cotswald take that role. They have done a fantastic job ensuring the team has built a strong chemistry over the last few seasons and that is very evident in the success they have had even during a rebuild. Last year they went 38-23-5 in a year that they were looking to be in the bottom half. They have continued that strong play into this season which they are 9-6-0 to start. Detroit is now looking to solidify themselves as a contender and to hopefully pull off a championship victory. Without strong leaders like Point, Soderstrom, and Cotswald, I do not believe we would have progressed as quickly and successfully as a team.
Pork Tenderloin is not particularly the best at mentoring the young blood on the New England Wolfpack. However he has had to make do and attempt to mentor the young Troy McClure IIII as they are defensive partners. It seems that he and Troy had really hit it off in the previous season as Pork Tenderloin had a career year and was nominated for many awards which is a great honor, truly. I cannot say for certain why Luke and JR decided to challenge me like this but I do think that it will end up making me a better player overall and that it will help the team as well. And if it's best for the team for this to occur then Pork Tenderloin will absolutely be doing it. Since they have been made defensive partners, Pork has done his best to teach Troy his ways. How high levels of offensive talent have to stand upon a solid bedrock foundation of defensive prowess. Only then can you start to look towards the other end of the ice and be a true 200 foot player.

Welcoming in the new rookies is never an easy task. You want to be helpful and seem personable, but at the same time you don't want to overload them with information. Everything is so new and different, it can be a lot to take in for new players, even if some things are universal across franchises in the SMJHL and SHL. The best approach that Holmberg has found is to give them all the key information at the start, and then tell them feel free to ask any questions over the next few weeks on anything. He makes it a point to offer to bring the rookies out to lunch before game days, or show them the favorite local hangouts for the players on the team. Anything to help them feel at home, while also not trying to force them to do anything they don't want to do. Really just letting the rookies decide how quickly they want to interact with their new enviroment.
The team that trains together wins together. Andren isn't the best scoring player on the Panthers nor is he the best defensive player. They barely trust him on any special teams really. He is the best on the team at one thing though: fighting. As the Panthers most proflific and best fighter of recent memory, Andren feels that it his place to make sure that all the newbies coming onto the team are prepared to defend themselves. He won't always be there to rattle the cages of their opponents so everyone who wants to call themselves a Panther needs to be able to hold their own. I mean, what if their is a line brawl? You can't sit back while the rest of your team fights it out. For Andren, its the duty of everyone who is the best at anything on the team to try to do their level best to help their teammates get better and in his case, that means making sure everyone can punch other players in the face well.

Seeing as this is Anna’s first season in Maine, she has taken it upon herself to be a mentor to everyone on the team to try and help them become the best versions of their hockey player self. While she does genuinely enjoy helping out other players, part of the reasoning behind this is selfish. Anna only agreed to the trade from Quebec City so that she could have a chance to win another four star cup on a strong Maine Timber team. The Timber added a couple of rookie skaters in the draft, so Anna is helping them out in drills at practice every day, giving them tips on how to improve, mostly helping out in the skating department, which is definitely her strongest skill as a player. The hard work seems to be paying early dividends, as the Maine Timber had a phenomenal start to the season, sitting at first in the league at the time of this writing.

In classic fashion, Jamie Fraser has gone above and beyond to introduce the rookie class to their new team and league. He's given them the tours, acted as mentor as needed, and in the most Carolina way, once again stepped aside to ensure they have the chance to play and develop as much as possible, at the expense of his own playing time. Three seasons ago as a rookie he appealed to the league head office for a chance to go on leave and allow for Carolina to temporarily roster new players with the league at capacity, one of those players eventually finding a home and blossoming into a star over in Nevada. Now, Fraser is spending time commuting between Carolina and Montreal, not playing for either team, in order to ensure that Carolina has the extra roster space to bring in defensive phenom AJ Diaz. This constant play to the development of the upcoming rookies has been instrumental in Carolina's development of lotto, first round, and later draft picks.

Valieva wasn’t a hockey player before joining the SMJHL. Her "skills" involved using her strength to push the goalie around in Russian beer leagues and somehow managing to win games because she was the last one standing on the ice. Her role was simple: stay in front of the goalie and, if possible, break the legs of any defenseman brave enough to come near. Valieva was a waiver pick by St. Louis and then traded to Kelowna, so I think @artermis would be the first to be interviewed, with Jacques Hammer and him recounting how Valieva had no clue how to actually play hockey, but worked hard enough to become captain and even break some records by her third season.
Ekaterina had the same linemate for 11 seasons in the SHL and SMJHL, so @liebolda ’s Adam Liebold would have plenty of anecdotes to fill six episodes on his own. Liebold has been a rock for the last decade, and she wouldn’t have become the player she is without him. @hhh81, as Baltimore GM, would also need to be interviewed. He took a chance on drafting Valieva in a very stacked S68 draft class and played a crucial role in her progression, both on and off the ice. He’s one of, if not the main reason, why she loves this league and this team so much.

Argenti remembers what it was like when he first entered the hockey league and would be very kind to the new recruits. He would show them around to all of the amenities and facilities at the disposal to the Calgary Dragons. He would also show them all the different restaurants around the dorms as well as the relaxing spots around. He would also show off their main rink and all the special features of it. After that he would give them all welcoming baskets full of bananas, strawberries, and other fruits for them to enjoy and continue to eat healthily. As for the others he would try to get the others involved by having them practice with the new recruits. He would also teach them some of the secret fruit and protein smoothies that he knows as family secret recipes from his time back with his family. He also gives them coupons for free plumbing for a certain pair of red and green Italian brothers.
Sonja has never really been the type to directly help her teammates. Or at least she does not go out of her own way to do so, of course if any of her teammates comes to her for some help or advice she is more than happy to do so but she does not look to find people who need those. Or if she can't help then she will try to find someone who can, which is most of the time her poor twin sister, Frøya. That being said, she tends to have a few soft spot for certain players. She usually takes those players under her wing and tries to help them as best as she can. Be that by giving advice, motivating or by any other means. It is also worth mentioning that it usually takes time for Sonja to trust new faces so it's not that she doesn't want to help them but rather she just prefer to focus on her own business than to ask around the rookies if they need any help.

Hugh cannot wait for his 35 seconds career highlight film in which they Cn mention the one award Hugh has won. The dearly coveted SMJHL rookie All Star Team selection. He is killing him to know if the media wants to get his feelings on never winning a challenge cup and maybe they will bring up a lack of four-star cup while they are at it. Maybe they will want to talk about Hugh has never won a single award, not that his play has deserved it, nor a nomination. He is sure the media will also want to discuss his historic international play that has resulted in zero internation awards, accolades or metals. This documentary is going to be so exciting and in depth. Hopefully this is not some type of ploy to get Hugh in front of the camera to ask he about Big Manius former charity “The Big Manius Home for Wayward Girls".

Nathangus McExplosion is a player of the simulation major junior hockey league, currently playing for the colorado raptors is in his last season of eligibility in this league, so passing on the torch and welcoming the newest members of the team like Normand Marineau and Arctic who is already talking about retirement by the way. When Nathangus was a young rookie, there were veterans showing him how its done and they won a cup together. Nathangus would like to not only show the rookies how to play but also how to win so hopefully we can get another cup during his last season or they can build towards what it takes to win a cup for the future of the franchise. I think what Nathangus is good at passing on is the camaraderie and the memes importance in the locker room. Memes are huge because they keep morale up and you can also send memes to force someone to do something like their point tasks. Who could refuse to follow what a meme tells them to do lmao. Im gonna win the cup.
