Oliver Cornwall is a pretty tame guy when it comes to his attire, he is the kind of player who prefers to let his play do the talking for him. He always shows up in some degree of semiformal attire, ranging from a button-up shirt and slacks to a three piece suit, depending on the significance of the game. His teammates regularly tease him for his conservative choices in his game day fits, with Louis Belanger @Popol loudly voicing his displeasure at his future teammates decisions. Fortunately for Oliver, he can deftly deflect any chirps about his clothing by simply pointing to the four star cup ring on his right hand. The media is the target audience of the simple fits, because they have a habit of riding the players wherever they show personality, the suits are a nice shield to make things more boring. With that said, when he reaches the SHL and secures the major league pay, Oliver may well start to open up his closet.

My player supported the homeless by making Hannah Crowder jerseys! It is the exact same jersey the Zerks use, but instead of "Crowder" on the back, it was "Crowder #StopTheHomeless!". The team really supported it, because the Zerks were one of the events sponsers! When she walked out of the charity event, she gave away 150 of those jerseys, and had 5 left over! Some lucky kids also got signatures of Hannah Crowder herself in their jerseys! The fans were pleased to see Hannah at the event, because Crowder wasn't usually going to events, because she's been in the gym, but her teammates say that "she wanted to help out with the people in need, so she joined the event". The charity organization was pleased with Crowder's attendance of the event too! Overall, it was an experience to never forget for Crowder.
In the SMJHL, Kris embraces the league's unique culture while still maintaining a sense of style on game days. Instead of the traditional suit and tie, he opts for a more relaxed yet polished look that reflects their personality. Picture a tailored bomber jacket over a crisp, fitted shirt, paired with dark jeans and stylish sneakers. Accessories include a sleek watch and perhaps a custom cap that represents his team.
Teammates appreciate this refreshing take on game day attire, often teasing each other about his choices while also expressing admiration for those who dare to break the mold. The media has taken notice too, he enjoys highlighting players who bring individuality to their outfits, often capturing candid shots and discussing the stories behind each unique look.
While Kris respects the traditions of the NHL and PWHL, they believe in expressing individuality and comfort in the SMJHL. This approach has inspired some teammates to step outside the conventional norms, fostering a sense of camaraderie and creativity. Ultimately, game day attire becomes a conversation starter and a way for players to showcase their personalities, making every game day a little more vibrant and interesting.
My player keeps is strictly business related on game days, he has a wide range of different colors suits and ties. He has the mentality that if you dress good, you will play good, and also he is not only representing himself but the brand, team, and his family. The media coverage when these athletes walk in to the arena are intense so he wants to make sure he is always the one that is best dressed. His team mates have been nothing but impressed with his suit choices and some have even begun to use the same tailor as he has. The media has often viewed him as one of the best dressed athletes even since his days in the SMJHL, frequently highlighting his outfits on national tv. Without dressing as well as he does, he may begin to fall off in play because as mentioned above, he truly believes that you must dress good to play amazing.
Robo Sven used to wear the finest suits on gamedays (and most other days), but ever since his transition to a more mechanical body suits have been a bit harder to find. As it stands now, he just makes sure his exoskeleton is polished and waxed to still give off a strong first impression. His teammates thought it was kind of weird at first, because no one can really decide on whether the titanium casing his body is surrounded in would actually be considered clothing, or if he's actually just not wearing clothing anywhere and has just become a cyber exhibitionist. It's been going on for so long that it's just normal now, so neither his teammates or the press pay it any mind. Honestly, at this point it would be more unnerving if he was wearing a suit over his exoskeleton, so he just stays the course and makes sure he's all shiny and polished every time he leaves the house.
Many professional athletes consider the pre-game meal to be a part of their routine, always having the same meal before games. Other athletes have luck socks or equipment that they always wear or an order that they put equipment on. Jeyeff Effo takes this to the next level, as he is a next level athlete. The ritual which includes what he wears and how he shows up on game day starts the night before any game. Effo likes to keep his equipment stored in a hyperbaric chamber of Jell-O (lime flavour), this keeps his equipment fresh and also doubles as his dinner as he will usually consume all of the Jell-O (about 40kg) to retrieve his equipment. After that, Effo will wear all of the equipment, except for the skates, he will put those on and get the coach to help him tie them before the game in the locker room. Effo will go to sleep in full equipment including his helmet, this let's him become one with his equipment. He will usually wear a diaper or have a catheter so he can do his business, the equipment does. not. come. off. ever. even for #2's. He will spend the whole day in his equipment, running errands, chillaxing, whatever and will arrive to the arena all ready to go.
Some say he never grew out of getting dressed for games from his time in peewee hockey, perfection comes at a cost.
There would be dozens of charities deserving their own event, but Jaromir Jagrbomb decided this time to pick a cause that typicallly does not get the spotlight it deserves, at least in sports teams' special nights. He chose a local shelter for homeless animals, aiming to raise awareness about puppy farming and the amounts of perfectly good pets there are looking for a loving home. The special-made jerseys will be auctioned after the game, and the profits will all go to funding an awareness campaign in the local area. The jerseys will be very special: there will be the real player numbers in the back, but the names will be not the player names, but names of the homeless animals in the shelter. And on the front, instead of a team logo, there will be a picture of the animal in question. This way the jerseys might also give someone a spark to adopt a new pet responsibly.
Written Option 1: Game day fits are always a focal point. You gotta look the part. You know the saying "If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, you get paid good." So gamedays always start with the outfit. For gameday mornings, I usually do my routine in comfortable sweats and sneakers. But once its time to head to the rink, or whereever the media is, I am always 3 piece suit accented with the team colors. Sometimes I rock a team ballcap, I have started the tradition of only wearing the hats on road games. Kind of my supersition. I think my teammates dont give me too much grief about my outifts as most of the guys also rock suits as well. I do tend to get some jabs about my footwear as they dont always go with my suits. I hate dress shoes, so I try to get nicer, more comfortable sneakers. But I do think the ballcap on road games is starting a tradition though.

It’s superhero night in Toronto as the North Stars battle the Rage in a classic good guy vs. Villain situation. Ace Lightning, for some reason, has been tasked to create fun warm up jerseys for the occasion. He has just finished watching The Boys on Amazon Prime, and has decided to use that theme. There are Hughie jerseys, there are Billy Butcher jerseys, there are Starlight jerseys, and even Homelander and A-Train jerseys. Some players are a little disappointed they got stuck with a character they maybe don’t think is all that good or cool, but they are being good spirits about it.
Those who have to don the Homelander jerseys look much like Superman, however without the DC licensing fees, and proceeds from selling those jerseys after the game go towards building a new lighthouse statue outside the arena. The rest of the jersey sales go towards the kids.
Beck wears a full suit to the arena on gamedays like all the other hockey players in real leagues. Only on Star Wars themed nights does he wear his full Chewbacca suit into the arena. But for that entrance, he goes in general admission areas and gets pictures with all the fans. They think its Chewbacca, but alas they do not realize it is hometown all-star Marcel Beck. He will get spunky with his socks and ties when in the full suit. He like to wear pink socks or a lot of argyle and patterns. You'll never see him wearing hats because he doesn't like to wear hats. Every now and then he'll wear a pin on his lapel for a local business, but only if provided through the form listed on his website. He's a people man and wants to please the homies. People like his style and never want him to leave Winnipeg.

You guys already know what I'm wearing to all my hockey related events. I don't even have to say it, it's just what I'm famous for. To be honest it would just be a waste of my time and yours if I was to tell you so I'm not even gonna bother. You and me are on the same page right now, we both know what I'm talking about. It's my famous attire that I always wear. When I pull up to the game, that's what I'm wearing. When I pull up to training, that's what I'm wearing. When I pull up to your mother's house, you already KNOW that's what I'm wearing. I don't understand people who always switch up their outfits and all that, I found one thing that works and that's what I rock at all times. You guys just make this all more complicated and I don't see why, I just wear my classic and that's it.
Quote:It’s usually commonplace to see hockey athletes in major leagues like the NHL and the PWHL come to game days dressed in formal attire. From full on suit and tie or just a nice fancy fit, the outfits are always full of style. This is the SHL however. Where people of all sorts come together to play in strongest league known to allkind. What does your player wear on gamedays? How do your teammates or media feel about your outfit choices? Does your player follow the tradition of the other leagues? Or do they break the mold and rock something unique every game?
Well they say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if theres one area that seems to have a wide range of options for what people consider formal, its fashion. Take a look at the NBA where you had the like of Russell Westbrook and his crazy fashion sense. Not always beloved by the beholder, but fashion none-the-less. He would consider it fancy and formal even if others would consider it crazy. Or to go back even further than that, consider the great Cam Newton in the NFL with his over the top outfits. Those outfits much like their play on the field made statements that showed who they were, expressed them and lets others know they weren't like everybody else but they were unique. So in similar fashion McLovin follows suit and dons only the freshest fits he can find, but the staple of every outfit remains the same, a stunning pair of kicks to leave the masses enamored. The top and bottoms may change from a simple t-shirt to a fancier dress shirt, but the footwear will always remain on point.
