So the 5 songs would be as follows:
1 - Blinding Lights - The Weeknd
This one is just cause it is quite a fun song to listen too
2 - Wonderwall - Oasis
An absolute banger. Not your terrible 1 hit wonders like carly rae jepmid crap some hipsters listen to sometimes.
3 - Eu Sento Gabu! - PXLWYSE
It's just a bop, i think it'll get Jon Isaac pumped for sure before a game
4 - Good L_ck, Yo_'re F_cked - Celldweller
He is probably more so known for great video game boss music but this one is pretty good to get you in the mood for fighting or doing gym workouts so this will be perfect for a pre-game workout for an RNG fictional sim league game ritual
5 - Human - Rag and Bone Man
For the last song I decided to go for something that does not connect with the others whatsoever. Just for shiggles mainly. Plus since he is the backup for the Knights and low TPE it can work well for messing up and reminding himself that he is only human at the end of the day, even if in the story he technically is not.

Proud S67 - S69 Colorado Raptors Captain
S57 Forward of the Season Award winner
The Anchorage Armada locker-room playlist for S78:
Song 1: "Yeah Yeah" by Travis Scott. Armada love them some Young Thug.
Song 2: "Hells Bells" by AC/DC. A classic wake-up and get-out-there song.
Song 3: "Beutelwurst! Beutelwurst! Beutelwurst!" by Bring Me the Mice! This, of course, is the spicy polka hit that went viral just a few months ago, rocketing a few of the Armada players to stardom. Playing this in the locker room does make it a bit awkward now that band members Fancyson and Kreslins aren't getting much ice time.
Song 4: "Rock and Roll (Part 2)" by Gary Glitter. This inspiring throwback to one of the greatest hockey crews of all time is played without anyone thinking about the vile scumbag who created it.
Song 5: "Panama" by Van Halen. This song just rocks. The rockingest of all rocking songs. There is no way anyone can listen to this song without immediately wanting to throw some body and score some goals.
When Jimbob steals the AUX cord in the locker room, the team knows they're in for loud guitars and hectic breakdowns.
The playlist goes a little like this:
1. Counterparts - No Servant of Mine
-The song kicks ass. No further notes.
2. Torn From Your Silhouette - Dying Wish
-See notes for song 1.
3. Pariah - END
-A real hectic song, the sounds of an exorcism can be heard throughout the rink.
4. The New Black - Every Time I Die
-By this point, he's getting side looks so the playlist switches to a more accessible sound, and a true party anthem.
5. Hand in My Pocket - Alanis Morissette
-The riffs are done. What better way to round out a playlist than a classic by God herself?
I would say that the first song that would embolden everyone on the Malamutes is obviously Ram Ranch. Its just 18 dudes being dudes and that what we got to pump us up before the games.
another good warm up song would be some good ol' fashioned Mick Gordan the soundtrack of doom specifically the song BFG Division This song will get the blood pumping in places you wouldn't think.
Another classic would be Paris by $uicidboy$ this song is for the rap lovers of the group and is a crowd pleaser in the locker room.
The song Dad Vibes by limp bizkit is another good one for the team seeing as most of us are fathers
and last but not least Thunderstruck by AC/DC a cult classic, If you cant be pumped up by the word thunder then we don't know who you are and we don't trust you.
This song truly gets me hyped up , I listened to it first as a kid when I may or may not have used my step sisters limewire and found it. Truly a nostalgic tune.
Song 2
Bobot adrenaline - Penalty box
This song should really have made it to nhl games , I cannot confirm or deny that it hasn’t but I know I actually stumbled upon it in tony hawks American wasteland. This song is my pregame hype for fights, or maybe even trynna stay clear of fights depending on my mood. It really is a metaphor for my life though haha.
Song 3
Crookers remix of AC/DC thunderstruck And I know what your thinking, it’s been done, we’re sick of hearing thunderstruck. Nah, trust me when I say this gets everybody poppin off ! Before and after the game. Adrenaline on maximum.
Song 4
Madcon - Beggin
The music video for this one is funny to watch, they are sat on a couch playing halo 3 forge I swear and then they’re get sucked into the tv or something. Well I’m sat in the locker room pre game listening to this and as I stare at the song play on my phone screen I get sucked in and suddenly I’m a hockey superstar and the game is freakin on man. This one got soul. “ when I was king , baby hold fast cause I had everything “.
Song 5
Die antwood - fatty boom boom
This is a song of oddity and if you don’t like du hast then don’t even listen to it but personally this one gets me jumping, the theme that trends throughout this playlist is mostly the tempo, resembling my beating heart as I am attempting to embody the spirit of a literal hockey salt in your nostril. I WILL bring the energy. I’m SCARED of myself when I get this hyped!!!! GET OUT OF MY WAY ITS GAME TIME.
In the locker room we play a song of each players choosing before we head out on the ice. It’s almost like a walk up song in a baseball game. Jakub Alexa normally starts it off with some highlights of his hero, Martin Brodeur. As he plays the clips he plays the song Unbelieveable by EMF. This is an ode to Brodeur as that song was played after the goalie stopped a play with a save. Another song played is Aenema by Tool that Earl Biggins chose. He says he chose this because he likes to tell players to learn to swim while he is passing them on the ice. Big Papi ironically plays New York Nee York by Frank Sinatra to mellow out the gang right in the middle of our mini concert. Ylib Cove likes to get down and dance to Drop it Like it’s Hot by Snoop Dogg and Pharrell. He says that Snoops voice gets him calm and it’s the closest thing he’ll get to the reeder. Finally I like to close it out with the song Shoop by Salt N Pepa. The boys really enjoy singing along to it and we all take turns with the different singers!
yosh SMJHL GM
cut back down to my knees, gotta get back, gotta get free, cut back to my knees, lean back now, lean back and breathe
Song 1: Ocean Man by Ween. Self explanatory here as the Thunder Bay Walleye are a fish branded team that is all about all of that fishy business.
Song 2: Life Itself by Glass Animals. I do not know why this made the team playlist but the General Manager unilaterally selected it, and now we all have to listen to it while we warm up.
Song 3: Oi Oi Oi remix from My Hero Academia? I also have no clue what is going on with this playlist by this point, but it looks like it was added in by the GM yosh.
Song 4: Iris by Goo Goo Dolls. Weird vibe given how slow this song is but for some reason it is on our warm up mix.
Song 5: Something in the Way by Nirvana. Weird choice since it has the lyrics "it's okay to eat fish / cause they don't have any feelings" but oh well.
Blake Hutchinson's playlist is varied, but carries some similar themes across some songs:
Song #1: The Kraken by Hans Zimmer. As a member of the Carolina Kraken, it makes perfect sense to like this song. This song starts the list strong and gets Blake jump-started and hyped.
Song #2: Davy Jones by Hans Zimmer. Following the Pirates of the Caribbean theme, another Hans Zimmer banger makes the list.
Song #3: The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot. Blake likes it as an ode to the Great Lakes region where he is from and carries a similar theme of deep water.
Song #4: Master of Puppets by Metallica. A change up compared to the other songs on the playlist, but it's inclusion helps get Blake hyped.
Song #5: Tequila Sunrise by Eagles. To round out his list, a softer rock song to get laser focused before getting onto the ice.
Who Let The Dogs Out? - This one is self explanatory for the Mutes. No one, and I mean NO ONE in that locker room wants to hear this song every day, but management insists upon it and threatens to bench all of us if we do not listen at least 3 times a day.
Nocturne Op.9 No.2 - Chopin - None of us are really sure why, but Jakub Alexa demands that we put this one on before each game. He sits there in the corner and mimes saves in the air silently. It's weird, but we don't question it since he has a .920 sv%.
Big Poppa - Notorious B.I.G. - This one is for Big Papi. He makes us all call him this when the song is on. Again its weird. This locker room is weird.
Frontwards - Pavement - Chuck just keeps stealing the phone and changing the playlist. Hes kinda pissing everyone off. Speaking of piss.....
Ignition (remix)- R Kelly - Again, its a weird locker room. There was some talk about his antics and this just kinda stuck. Don't over think it.
I’m an older head, so I don’t have any pump up songs that are before the early 2000s. Anyway, here’s the list that Puddles O’Duck would chose and why.
1. Eye of the Tiger by Survivor - Do I really need to mention why this is in here? It’s the ultimate anthem for locking in and focusing on the goal. The song is used in pretty much every relevant sports movie with training scenes.
2. Lose Yourself by Eminem - One of my personal favorites that just reminds me of high school days. Gets us focused.
3. Can't Hold Us by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - A high-energy beat that gets us moving with unstoppable enthusiasm. Seriously, the team goes wild here.
4. Stronger by Kanye West - Another one that reminds me of high school. As the name implies, it pushes the team toward being stronger.
5. Remember the Name by Fort Minor - The JJ Watt special. If it’s good enough for him to workout to, it’s good enough for us.
This is the best task for Djoe Anderson.
The first song on the list would have to be
1. Pull harder on the strings of your martyr. This song embodies the lifeblood of the malamutes, Talking all about the fact that we're all just puppets in the eyes of the SHL / SMJHL heads, they pull the strings and we dance! we get it all done for them, without us, they'd have nothing?!
Song 2: Enter sandman. This goes with the fact that everytime we get onto the rink we just close our eyes and hope that we get taken to the promised lands of wins!
Song 3: Master of puppets. Why? Stranger things, Easiest enough if you go watch the season, that scene is amazing.
Song 4: Blur? I know the title is song 2, but damn is it a good fourth.
Song 5: I want it that way - Backstreet Boys. 'cause at the end of the day we all want it that way.
A pregame playlist needs to be about hype. Adrenaline. Motivation. It should be songs everyone can recognize. Even if they are old songs. And, for this playlist, we're going to the 80s for inspiration.
1. Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins - A song that lives on through the generations. From Top Gun to endless decades of appearing in commercials, the very first notes get the blood pumping.
2. Crazy Train - Ozzy. His debut single as a solo artist. The initial riff gets the mood hyped for energy and excitement.
3. Eye of the Tiger - Survivor. Does this one really need an explanation?
4. The Final Countdown - Europe. This would begin playing just as we are about to take the ice. The beginning of the song would actually start to play in the arena during a home game. The lights go out and the spotlight shines onto the entrance and the fans know the Berzerkers are ready to play.
5. Eye in the Sky - Alan Parsons Project. This is the music the Chicago Bulls would use to introduce the team when Michael Jordan was playing with them. This would be the same thing we would use to introduce our starting lineup at home games.

My playlist is constantly changing. I’m, for better or worse, the kind of person that hears a song and gets stuck on it for a month. Some of those choices right now, like Val said, are influenced by the QCC Music League.
1 – The Mowgli’s, “San Francisco” – I just can’t be in a bad mood listening to this. Start the playlist off with this to clear the mind before focusing on hockey.
2 – All Time Low, “Dear Maria, Count Me In” – ATL is one of those weird bands that I didn’t listen to a lot before and never say “Man I love that band!” but every time I hear one of their songs I think it slaps. This was a recent Music League submission so I’ve once again been reminded of them and how much they slap.
3 – JVG, “Tarkenee” – A completely off-the-wall selection but it takes me back to playing Chel with the boys in Winnipeg when I was first on SHL.
4 – My Chemical Romance, “Welcome to the Black Parade” – Another Music League suggestion, as noted elsewhere in the PT. Like, c’mon. You hear JUST ONE NOTE and know what’s coming.
5 – Metallica, “For Whom The Bell Tolls” – Right before going on the ice, gotta listen to this to get properly pissed off and ready to block shots and move annoying little forwards out of my goalie’s crease.
