S78 mPT #5: Playoff Celebrations Due: Sunday, September 15th @ 11:59 PM PST

With how specialized Smitty's gear is, he doesn't have as many options for the usual celebrations. Instead, he pops his head (skull? is that what it's called on a fish?) off and bounces it around on his stick and the ice a few times.

Update Portal doesn't score, so he doesn't have any celebrations he does on the regular. He had sworn since he was a kid, if he scores the Cup winning goal, he'll do a flying elbow drop off the top of the glass onto the opposing goalie.

Celeste's current goal celebration is a piece of choreography from the song Bouncy by ATEEZ, because it struck them as funny. They may change it sometime in the future, and certainly have a shortlist of other options, but right now they're very happy with what they're doing. Mostly because it's fun.

Pohler Beargeron does the splits and roars whenever he is fortunate enough to score a goal. It's his signature move, and the crowd erupts every time he does it.

RIP Dangel. See you on the other side, brother

Tibuk doesn't have any one celebration. He just does whatever he has in the heat of the moment. Shutout, fist pumps. Shoot out, shooting the stars with the stick. But whatever gets his joy out physically is happening,

Henri Losanov keeps it simple and classy. He taps both posts a few time, grab his water bottle and skate toward the bench and teammates while waving at the fans

It just has to be the boring old fist pump. It takes minimum effort, but is also an acceptable response to a good goal. I always pump my fist then high five my teammates. Call me old school.

Thanks Jove for my sig

When Kevin Kim scores, he slides on his skates to the closest board, which he would be bombarded by cheerful celebrations from his fellow teammates.

Jett Labyrinth enjoys pumping up his teammates and the fans when he scores, so his cellys are very passionate and often involve visceral screams and chest bumps.

philippe eko eel likes to celebrate a goal or an assist by finding the nearest underwater rock formation and going inside of it and then kinda peeking his head out back and forth a couple times like an eel dance sorta

i think my favorite celebration is where you go and bang on the glass after a great goal, it realy gets the crowd and your team in to the game!

“I thought I was a goalie, but STA told me forget being a goalie they make nothing, and no one cares about them.  Guess what I was a center all along and I had no idea. Now I am the toast of the town, and I am getting offers from all the GMs and Scouts.”

Quote:What is your player’s favourite celebration after a goal or a game winning save during shootout? Do they have different ones for different situations?

My player's favorite celebration after a goal is to completely remove his skates and then put them on his hands and tie on and then hold his stick with his feet while skating around the ice upside down, as a power move.

Emeric likes to be a little over dramatic when it comes to goal celebrations. Every single time he scores a goal, he likes to slide all the way across the ice in a similar fashion to that famous Theo Fleury celebration. It doesn't matter whether it's a game winner, or an empty netter, Emeric will always celebrate in the same way. Quite frankly, even his teammates are sick of it.

Bishop Van Apeldoorn loves to celebrate a shutout with a classic stick toss. However, If he is really fired up, He will snap the stick over his knee.

How does Easton Schaffer celebrate a goal?

Well, it depends on
A - If he scored the goal (traditional fist pump to the sky)
B - If he got an assist (quick skate and big hug)
C- If he was just on the ice for it (slow skate and fist bump)
D- The magnitude of the goal (Playoffs/OT/Playoffs OT/Series Clinching) (Massive jumping actions and elated whatever comes to mind)
