Hello and welcome to this edition of McGriddy’s SMJHL Prospect Interviews, I’m with S80 SHL Draft Prospect Tiny Princess who plays Left Defense.


MG10: What is the inspiration for the player’s name?
TP: Born in Batman, Turkey, Tiny Princess played some very high levels of club hockey for the team that both his mom and dad coached for (fun fact, both his mom and dad moved to Turkey from other countries for this job)! Since birth he had been big and was 6'2 by the time he was 10! Not only did his mom and dad help him learn alot but so did the bears and hyenas showing him how to hit hard fast and heavy, which became his mentality! His inspiration is to become a top defender of all time to make not only his parents proud but his teammates and fans around him! Fun Fact: He also bakes a pretty mean cheesecake.

MG10: What do you hope to show GMs in the SMJHL?
TP: That I can contribute to their team as a hard hitting playmaking juggernaut who will help bring them the cup as I develop, and also that I am a friendly guy!


MG10: What is the play style that your player intends to play
TP: Tiny Princess is a physical hard hitter, and a shot blocker who looks to strike fear into all opposing forwards. Tiny Princess can also make some good plays when needed for his team with a 14 passing rating. 


MG10: What teams do you want to play for?
TP: I really don't care where I end up as long as the team has a good locker room and a desire to win and develop!


MG10: How much TPE do you plan on earning?
TP: As much as I can to improve my player until I hit the cap


MG10: Is it Taylor Ham or Pork Roll?
TP: I’ve never heard of either to be honest!

MG10: What is your take on Mustard Macaroni and Cheese?
TP: Sounds Gross, but I’m sure some people like it


MG10: What is your opinion on Max Verstappen?
TP: Good driver, makes me mad sometimes but overall I like him unless he's in a direct race with Leclerc


MG10: What NHL Player do you intend to model your play after?
TP: Hmm that’s a good question, I’m going to be completely honest I’m not sure. I know what style of play I’m doing, but not sure which NHL players align with it.


MG10: What are your ideal hot dog toppings?
TP: Chili

MG10: Is a hot dog a sandwich?
TP: No, because both sides are connected.


MG10: What is your preferred style of cooking eggs?
TP: I have sensitive taste buds and I do not like eggs to be honest with you.
