Hi, I’m puolivalmiste and I’m one of your PT directors!

Since a lot of you are new to this community, and I would love to know more about all of you, I’d like you to introduce yourself to me (and any others reading this).

Introduce yourself and tell us something interesting/funny/odd about you. Whatever you like, really.

You will receive 1 TPE for fulfilling all requirements.

This PT will close Sunday, October 13th at 11:59pm PST. Posts submitted/edited after the deadline will receive 0 tpe.

If you have any questions/concerns, please PM me. Tasks with malicious intent will not be graded.
Graders reserve the right to determine what is malicious. You will not be warned.

Only S79 SMJHL rookies (S80 players) are eligible for this task.

Hi there, the last time i was part of a simulation hockey league like this on Pucktheory like 10 years ago the league was shut down after i became league MVP for the first time in my simhockey "carreer". So better make sure i'm not too successful on here?

Also Shiny Rainbow actually exists, she is one of my girlfriends unicorn plushees.

Im Jumbo. Just starting on my 2nd player after 4+ years on old player. I love hockey and a huge Washington Capitals fan. And I play in an inline hockey league

I'm a special education teacher for behavioral elementary students (little violent kids grades 1-3). I've played and/or coached hockey for 28 years (I'm 32 now). I play chess online (if anyone's on chess.com hit me up!) and in-person tournaments which is a hobby I started being bored during covid days. Wife and I adopted an 8 year old girl in July and we currently have two other foster kiddos with us! Busy but fun household.

Hej hej, never been part of any type of simulation league before, I didn’t even know it was a thing.

I’m an average master degree student, low on sleep and money. When I have spare time, I write and scout part-time about hockey in Sweden, semi-professional. Big Anaheim Ducks fan who hopes the team can finally take a step this year. Easy to hit me up on Discord as I am chronically online.

Hey All!
My name is Anurag Bhattacharya. My Player in SMJHL is Ethan Cross. San Diego Tidal drafted me.
I am an avid sports fan, and you may have seen it before in other sim leagues. Most recently, in order, ISFL and SSL before here.

I have been part of PBE for some time as well.

You may be wondering. I am in so many sim leagues, especially joining three new ones in a very short time! Biggrin

Well, I follow and play all four sports: baseball, football, soccer/football, and now hockey.

Each has similarities in terms of forum/portal interface and TPE tasks (which helps; I am going to use affiliate TPE a lot!).

But also, because they are four different sports and each of my four players is unique, I look forward to shaping each of my sim league players!

I also look forward to getting to know my teammates at Tidal and SHL/SMJHL as a whole!

Ethan Cross - Trying to reach the legendary status in SHL/SMJHL, the same way as my render, Sydney Crosby, in the NHL/Canadian Hockey History!

Can't wait to see my player in action and the season!

Hi there, I'm noxu and I'm 24! An interesting fact about me is that I have social anxiety but I have no trouble at all doing public speaking! I did theatre growing up to combat my shyness but it only made me more confident when on a stage ?

im Newff, going into my 4th player now after a recent flop due to work im glad to be back after catching all the fish and i love to also keep a fishy theme with my players now, im also a huge dog person, who enjoys many other sports.

Hi! I'm Raf, this is my first player in the league, and I'm excited to see how it goes. I love playing guitar and listening to music, as well as watching hockey, be it in person college games, nhl, or just on tv. I'm playing a goalie because I have a bit of the crazy in me that I'm sure will translate well lol.

I am new to sim leagues. Truthfully, I work a lot but didn't want t buy a game system. I was missing playing hockey games etc and I found VHL and SHL through reddit. This is by far the best option for me personally because even if I did buy a gaming system, I wouldn't have much time to play due to work but writing once a week is easier for me. I like what I see and experience so far!

Hey there, my player is Uwe Bindewald and this is my first sim league in which you foremost build a player. Had my own sim league in the early 2000s (HLS2 on MS-DOS; yeah. I'm ancient :p) and played in a couple others, but stopped for quite some time. Joined on a whim and I have a feeling this one of my better decisions lately. Other than that... I translate video games for a living and am situated smack in the middle of Germany.
