S79 mPT #1: Lets Try This Again Due: Sunday, October 20th @ 11:59 PM PST

Against: Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

The issue with the SMJHL is the games are often times completely arbitrary on who wins and who loses, and even if the team is really good they can easily get bounced by a sub .500 team which has happened several times before.

Against: New Orleans makes it to the Challenge Cup finals.

NOLA just traded away a centrepiece to Baltimore. Peter Tingle was a big part of that forward group for many seasons and will be missed at that 1C position. Looks like a retool is underway.

I like the top 10 mock draft only. the classic draft I think is outdated and a top 10 is much more preffered. gives the users more TPE over the long run

Los Angeles and San Francisco will meet in first round of playoffs, after finishing regular season as 1st and 4th or 2nd and 3rd in their division.

For. It's simply inevitable at this point, and we are all doomed to repeat the cycle forevermore. Until the rest of the division catches up, at least. Even then I'm not particularly convinced that we don't keep up the same dance.

Against: IF they make it that far, it's because they got the best of us and I can't believe it. They trade one of there best players to us and even if they got a good pre season record, that won't do on the long run. Sad because they had a really good team last season and the one before.

Out of all the prompts i think this is the most likely scenario, However Max winning a 2nd Mexico is not far behind. To the prior, Calgary is the hot newcomer undefeated through 3 games so far i dont know if they can sustain it though.

Montreal wins the cup.

FOR

It didnt fully specify what regular season this would occur during so I think it will happen at least 2-3x before this core is all retired and the next rebuild happens - we are just too beautiful for it to not happen. Lets bring the cup back to Canada.

AGAINST: Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

Listen the Anchorage Armada are a great team with a great GM and lots of good players, but they are not equipped to even get out of the North Division. First i don't think they get by the Berzerkers. Second even if they did there is zero chance they beat the reigning North Division Champions the Kelowna Knights.

FOR: Toronto finishes regular season as best team in the East.

For. For all day long. Toronto has been eagerly waiting for their turn and this is the season it happens. The North Stars are loaded with a bunch of beauties and will prevail despite having Teemu Salami stinking up the locker room.

I am for MTL winning the cup. We are going to be absolutely feral on the ice and I think everyone will want to get out of the way if they know what is good for them. Chopper will beat them up if not.

The specters have not won a game so far this season, plus you have teams like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Texas in the conference. The specters are also heading towards a rebuild as well.

Honestly I just don't see it. They've made a few acquisitions that just haven't seemed to work out for them. They have a good group of defensemen but unfortunately they lack any real depth with forwards as their best forward is 1801 TPE atm while their second best is 1516 TPE. Their best center just hit 1000. I don't think this team has what it takes to score consistently.

Calgary will score most goals.

Im for this because this is my team. If we score the most goals are chances of winning go up. Im sure some statistics nerd like @LGRW613 will probably say something along the lines of "you can still get outscored but still get most goals in the league" but Im saying that it just says score most goals. Meaning we score the most goals in any gaming, going undefeated and willing EZ PZ.

While I, for obvious reasons, hope you're wrong, I wholeheartedly agree with you here. The level of competition in the league is so high and last year needed some insane single game performances just to manage what Max did. I think he had 4 - 4 goal games and I just don't see it happening a second time. I hope I'm wrong though.

There is one reason that you should not be penciling in Anchorage as a Four Star Cup Finals team. That reason is the Newfoundland Berzerkers. That's our Cup! Hands off!
