Written option 2: Langston has learned to handle the media coverage pretty well, especially with the feted new wave of players coming in to lead the Aurora, lead in offense by LHL and on defense by Juan Tymer. This has led to the two being key components of the team’s marketing for the coming season. Of course, Langston doesn’t really care too much about having to be overly involved in the team’s marketing and understands that it comes with the gig of being a hockey player and being the Alternate Captain of the Aurora.
The sponsorship that Langston would be targeting would be a Weber Grill contract as he needs a new one after wearing out his old one and he wants to put in a second one in his vacation home near his pool. Of course many have wondered why he is so eager to be ready for the summer, but he has declined to comment on that in full. Shoutout TheOPSquid for the Sig

As much as he had been all for the media in the first round of being selected and Badger is well aware of how much it helps the image of not only himself but the team, he rather stay out of the spotlight. He isn't the greatest nor the most photogenic but he would do as he is asked graciously if the marketing team offered. Badger is still learning about the media and how they operate, and whilst he can keep a cool head under pressure whilst on the ice, under the gaze of media persons and cameras is a completely different puck game. Words are not much his forte, and rather allow himself to be filmed practicing or at least getting a couple of action shots in with a sponsor brand instead but he also understands that it comes with the territory to speak about the team, to promote the SMJHL and eventually he will be stepping into the wider SHL world where he would gain more traction as a player with the potential (no matter how slim it is) of being put in front of a press conference to speak about his experiences. Peter Tingle didn’t make a good first impression with his new GM. He came into the Platoon locker room acting like he owned the place. I think the time in NOLA got to his head a little bit so the GM decided to do some humbling. He was tasked with changing out all of those new light fixtures. Peter didn’t realize how obnoxious he had been and accepted the punishment gracefully. It was no easy task to change out that many bulbs but Peter Tingle was able to swing up and hang right near each bulb to change them out. Accessibility was no issue at all. He managed to wrap up the change in just a single day since he didn’t have to worry about using lifts to access the lights. Peter learned a valuable lesson that weekend and will approach his new environment with a lot more respect.

Right before the big opening night, a new law came in to effect mandating that all the arena lights had to be changed to LED bulbs. To add to the stress, i had managed to tick off the general manager just a few days earlier. It all started during a team meeting where i spoke up about the teams strategies and the general manager did not take it well. When the news about the light bulb changing broke, the general manager saw it as a perfect opportunity to get back at me. he made it my job to change all of them during the weekend prior to opening night knowing dam well it would be tough and time consuming.
I knew i had to be careful not to upset the GM anymore than i already have, so i decided to tackle the task with a positive attitude. I spent the whole weekend replacing each and every light bulb. Thinking back on my recent clash with the general manager i wondered if i had been too blunt with expressing my opinions or of it was a big misunderstanding. Option 2
As a first round pick, the starting goalie and one of the best player of his generation, it's sure that I will have some spotlight on me and pressure to perform. I have deliver the best of me in multiple occasion, but didn't won the final game of the season, at least not yet even if it was really close one time. The spotlight is part of the job as a goalie since every goal seems like it's your fault and you have to deal with it. Even more so when your team is competitive and you have to give the best version of yourself if you want to give your team a chance to win. Even with the media you have a job to do as a star player and the main goalie and I've always liked it. You can give your version of the game and it's not always the same as how the fans saw it.

Written Option 2: Marineau was always reserved when he was younger, so it took him quite a lot of time to get the confidence to speak to the media. Marineau will typically provide the usual hockey player answers, short and to the point. He doesn't want to let any narratives get out there, so he chooses to speak as little as possible. What he does love to do is get involved in any commercials or advertising campaigns, as well as show up to all kid events, including hospital visits. Being a kid himself, he loves to see the big smiles on everyone's faces when he attends and loves to surprise the kids with gifts. Seeing as Minnesota had a great rookie class, Marineau is loving his media responsibilities with the other rookies, where they can be themselves and stay loose. Marineau sees it as a chance to show the fanbase his character and personality since he's never been one to talk a lot.

Viktor absolutely ended up in this position over a misunderstanding, as is often the case whenever he gets into trouble. During a run of the mill meeting with some of the San Francisco Pride's public relations team, Vik brought up the idea of holding an adoption event at the arena on a non-game day. Pride stars would be present to sign autographs and take pictures, with all proceeds going to animal shelters. Someone on the PR team made the mistake of enthusiastically saying "Let's fill the place to the brim with cats and dogs!", and Viktor took them very seriously. What they'd actually had in mind was a small area on the rink, but Vik decided to show up with thousands upon thousands of critters and let them all loose. So yeah, he kind of felt like he deserved the punishment, and he got to kill two (unnecessary) birds with one stone by cleaning up all the fur, drool, puddles of pee (and so on and so on) with every light bulb he climbed up to switch.

The ever so chirpy rookie (insert bird noises) somehow managed to piss of the GM of the team. He did this by talking trash to the GM's son who also plays on MTL. Chopper was then forced to change every light bulb in the stadium with LED lightbulbs. Now while Chopper is a goon on the ice, he loves to use his brain off the ice and schemed a plan to get back at his GM and his annoying son. Chopper climbed up into the rafters to change each and every lightbulb but instead of normal LED lights he installed dark red lights so that they barely shine any light at all (they are the lowest on the UV spectrum). The GM was very upset at this and Chopper was then tasked with running multiple laps around the stadium. Fortunately, Chop popped a rumble ball and ran those laps in no time.

Option 2:
Mumei is often seen as camera shy and rarely speaks to the media, mainly due to her anxiety because she is not comfortable without her tribe members. She does have a prominent role in the advertising campaigns for both Great Falls and New Orleans. For the grizzlies, she’s shown riding a bear with her tribe into war, advertising the grizzlies upcoming games schedule. As for the specters, she’s shown briefly as the next generation of NOLA hockey. When addressing the media, Mumei rarely gets sponsors due to her relations to the Inuit people. As historically they were seen as barbaric people. She does get a sponsor because of her quick-witted mind, as that’s a deal with Popeyes, which has a meal named after her. Mumei does enjoy being the main focus of advertising campaigns especially if she gets to do something special such as riding bears with her tribe, or having to eat ghost peppers for the YouTube page of the specters.

Dealing with the media is a part of every athlete's career and line of work, and it's no exception for Dejana Kaptina. Unlike her mentor Louise St. Martin, though, Dejana is very soft-spoken and shy off the ice. When she steps in front of the microphones, she just wants to get the heck out of there as soon as humanly possible. She remains professional and fulfills all of her obligations, but she'd rather be on the ice honing her skills or playing chess with her friends or something. She's more than ok with being in team photoshoots, but that's kind of about it, her presence in videos and such is extremely limited. There are other members of the Quebec City organization that fit marketing campaigns, videos, etc better anyway, the team is not one that lacks in any sort of personality. Hers is like how she is as a player though - quiet role player.

Djoe Anderson clearly did something wrong to piss of the GM, what was it? probably slacking on thanksgiving when he should've been training, you know, making people regret not picking him, alas he didn't. whoops. He also talks about hotdogs (Glizzies as the cool kids call them) way too often, to the point that the GM is having nightmares about Djoe chasing him around with a freshly steamed dog slathered in mustard and onions. Yes, the GM inevitably made Djoe perform the task of changing all the bulbs in the stadium to LED's, unfortunately for the GM, Djoe has various connections and reputations with the vendors inside the stadium, and they agreed to help him exact a little revenge of his own. Djoe decided it would be hilarious to put cocktail weenies inside every bulb, everytime they lights get turned on they get cooked just a little bit more, eventually causing opening night to be a hell on earth scenario of the whole stadium smelling like old burnt hotdogs. or a great scenario for Djoe.
