Chungledown Bim is still pretty new to St. Louis so he is still getting acquainted with and familiar with his new team. That being said he has made a few new friends and can't wait to see what this new season has to offer!

First off we have @Gyro_Hero or "Matthias" or whatever. He's a pretty cool dude if I do say so myself. He's always active in the LR, well spoken and eloquent, polite and maybe even a little bit funny. Been a pleasure having him around and he should be a huge help to the team on the ice too. He's had two very solid seasons at defence posting 2/20/22 and 2/25/26 respectively and we are all watching and hoping that he takes a big step forward this season in point production.

Next up we have @Popol or Louis Belanger to some. By all accounts a fantastic person with a pretty sizable bank to boot! Their render is Sheldon Sourray so they will forever have a special place in my heart. The big center is coming off of a career high 28/33/61 season and looks to build on those results in their last season in the SMJHL.

Last but not least is @hockeymil or Emile Dionne. They are also entering their last season with the Scarecrows after putting up an extremely impressive 28/43/71 point season. This winger is a staple in the LR and leader in the ice.

With these three anything is possible!

I was just recently claimed by the Maine Timbers. One of the things about Maine they just came off of a Cup run. Looking to run up the score for a back to back. The 3 key pieces for this run is defenseman Jacppo Nummilavin . Huge on the blue line to help keep goals out of the back of the net, by far the best defenseman we have. Valtteri Pulkkinen huge winger for the team, is really relied upon to score goals and the points. Team centers around them on the offense. And May O’Nayse another big name point getter for the team. They look on him to help the team succeed in every way possible. Goalies Kris and Zsigmond are all going to be relied on in between the pipes. Hoping to get them both on successful runs through the regular season and in playoffs. They will both be crucial for a back to back run at the Four Star Cup.

For the Detroit Falcons to go deep in the playoffs this year their players Theo Kane, Maverick Reynolds, and Roquefort Cotswold must be the key performers. Let’s have a look!

Theo Kane, alternate captain, put up 8 points, 4G and 4A, in 7 pre-season games. Even more impressive, all 8 points were at even-strength, imagine if they get going on the powerplay! They are an elite level sniper who finds all the open ice will be relied on heavily to pocket goal after goal for the Falcons.

Maverick Reynolds led the Detroit defense with 3G and 4A to average a point per game in the pre-season. Coming in at 6ft 4in Reynolds was involved in two fights, winning a fight one. The coaches are excited and hopeful that Reynolds can continue their strong offensive and physical game into the regular season.

Last but not least, Roquefort Cotswold, the Detroit Falcon’s captain. While they didn’t perform to their offensive expectations with 2G and 1A in 7 games they ended up with a tidy plus/minus of +6. Their strong two-way game and astounding 3:33 average time on the penalty kill will be invaluable to getting their team out of trouble. Their leadership and ability to elevate those around them will be vital to Detroit’s success.

Colorado Raptors are looking pretty solid going into the season. After making the playoffs and losing to Detroit, Colorado made some great moves in the offseason. In the draft, the Raptors were able to get 5 great prospects (2 forwards, 1 defenseman, and 2 goalies).  Then Colorado also made some trades to bring in some top talent in Paul Charron, Sam Volta, and recently Yuri Boyka III. So with 7 players at 425, Colorado is poised for a great season. If the rookies can keep earning at high levels, this team has its sights set on the cup. It really will come down to a few players. First the 2 goalies, Meowlnir Kittenson and DarthDaevin are going to be players that the Raptors depend on heavily. The 2 netminders should be splitting team, so they are equally going to have to keep up the great work. The big task at hand offensively is replacing Nathangus McExpolsion. Baron Samedi, who led Colorado in points last season, is coming back so the heavy lifting will fall to them and to Raw Cheese McPickle to take on the role left by McExplosion's departure.

Benjamin Theodore is a  new edition to his hometown Thunder Bay Walleye.  The defenseman has put up decent numbers as  a member of Thunder Bay with nine points in eleven games. He's a good contributor to the Walleye but far from their most important.

First up we have Sam Quintilio who is the first line center for the Walleye. He's having an outstanding year with thirteen points through eleven games. Averaging more then  a point per game. Center is the most valuable position on the ice and so if  Sam Quintilio can continue with this streak of dominance then the Walleye will be in a good position come the end of the regular season.

Second we have Grant Berd, the six foot three one hundred and ninety seven pound goalie. Berd is the starting goalie for the Walleye and thus a key contributor to the team. So far he has a nine forty one save percentage with a one point five seven goals against average. Very solid work for one of the key pieces to the Walleye's success.

Third we have Teddy Bloos, another center anchoring the Walleye up the middle. So far he has eleven points in eleven games. Not a bad start for our second line center.

The season is already in full swing and that's why now, looking at how everything has happened so far, you can roughly determine how everything will continue and make some predictions. I think that we are a new team, I still don't understand much from all the predictions, but I think that we will manage to fight for a good position at the end of the season. I would like to highlight these three players as team leaders: Grindle Waters-Johnson, Jackass Pants and Argenti Gorilla. Two of these named players have been with the team for a longer period of time, so they will also play a more leadership role in the team. At the moment, these players are also the most productive in the team. I think that they have a much better interplay between them, which will result in the result in general. Therefore, we young players will try to give them more freedom, sometimes doing the hardest work so that the team leaders can make a result.

Now the QCC is in an interesting spot as far as looking at potential. The biggest thing that was seen in the pre-season was low save%. Meaning I'm going to give my biggest highlight to the defensive players. Ela Solberg and QCCBOT are going to have to make the saves to keep the team in it for the long term. But it is also what makes them the most important people as they will be the last line of defense standing in the way of a W or a L. But what are goalies without their defense? Putting some pressure on the older defensive players is going to be critical. Swan Ronson will be my next highlight for crucial parts of this team. The team's got the offense but just need the defense to back up the play and hold a lead. That's why the people listed above are the most crucial going forward to keeping the team on top. With a lot of rookie defensemen people like Ronson will be leading that defensive core.

This coming season there will be at least three key players for the Raptors:

1. Sam Volta: Being one of the TPE leaders for the Raptors is a huge responsibility especially for a center. Winning a faceoff in your own zone could make or break for the Raptors. Especially with players only sitting at a max of 425 opportunities can open and close in an instant based on the situation. Volta will need to be huge in the faceoff circle to help the Raptors

2. Yuri Boyka III - This is another key player, and one that hasn't lived up to where we expected him to be so far this season. As the other TPE leader, Boyka should be scoring like there is no tomorrow but instead has not been doing well and actually missed a game. There is hope that he puts it together and really helps propel the Raptors to success

3. Meownir Kittenson - I am not one who usually puts his player first in these kinds of things but I think a goalie has to be mentioned. Also for the Raptors, there season is mainly looking to be shoot outs (like the gunslinger version, not the end of hockey version). Having a high octane offense is great but they are completely rebuilding on the defensive end. There is hope that Kittenson will be able to protect the goal enough to help the Raptors to win games 7.- 5

It was a rough start for the Grizzlies. We played the defending champs four times in preseason. They outscored us twenty-two to seven over four games. We have a solid team but need time to build chemistry. One of the key players this year will be Argenti Gorilla for his shutdown defense and shot blocking. We need him to hold the line in the offensive zone and block shots in the defensive zone. Another player we're counting on is Jackass Pants. Jackass will be a major player on the powerplay and penalty kill this year. Last but not least is our captain, Marián Hanák. His leadership on and off the ice will lead to our success this season. He creates a relaxed environment almost like we're in hibernation for preseason. We're just waiting for playoffs to roll around. Honorable mention goes to Grindle Waters-Johnson. Another powerplay player that will need to come up with some big goals this year.

The Carolina Kraken are looking to continue the tremendous momentum they picked up in the preseason. So far, they have managed to do so, only dropping two games so far in the campaign. In my opinion, this is due largely in part to their outstanding rookie players, all of whom have had excellent performances in their first seasons in the J. In my opinion, the most impactful players for the Kraken are:

1. Kim Chaewon, C (PRE: 7 GP, 4-3-7)
I'll admit, I am not exactly a fan of K-Pop. One may even consider me a "hater". But it's hard to hate on what Chaewon has been doing for her team, putting up 7 points in the preseason. Early chemistry is already being shown between Chaewon and her wingers, also rookies, and having a strong center with good team chemistry is extremely important for team performance.

2. Greyson Willis, W (PRE: 7 GP, 3-3-6)
Playing on the same line as Kim Chaewon, Greyson Willis is another shining young star on the Kraken roster. With an impressive 6 points in his first ever SMJHL preseason, Willis will pair nicely with his rookie linemates this season.

3. Goosetavo, W (PRE: 7 GP, 1-3-4)
Rounding out the all-rookie line is winger Goosetavo, who looks to play a supporting role alongside Chaewon and Willis. With a very respectable 4 points in his 7 preseason games, Goosetavo will complement his linemates and help them get into scoring positions.

All in all, the Carolina Kraken have a very strong roster that is underscored by the immense rookie talent brought in this offseason. I believe all players will have an impact in some way, but these are the ones to watch for.

Ok so we are top of the league. I am stumbling my way through, but I like my guy. I really love my team. I love my starting goalie Rosie the Kat and I think our duo is really clicking.

On defense, Ivan Ivanovitch and Big Sweg seem to be absolutely massive. Perfect top pair. But the rest of the d has a lot of grit and heart and that is shown by our pk clicking at 85%. i absolutely love this group of d and they make me want to play hard every night.

The forward group speaks for itself. Greaty, Bourney, Beargy. They are all gonna be studs. I am so impressed by their play, but also their two way game. The rest of the forwards are all putting up numbers too. And they all backcheck. Really impressive stuff.

It's my first year so I won't get ahead of myself but I love this team and this group and playing for the Berserkers crest. I think the sky is the limit and I am absolutely delighted to be here.

Thank you.

Goodnight, St. John's

The St. Louis Scarecrows are a team that could be poised to make some noise around the league this year, but if they are going to achieve that they will need big performances from their star players.

Louis Belanger will look to lead the charge offensively for the Scarecrows in his fourth year with the team.  He is a sizable forward at 6’3” and 215 pounds.  The versatile forward started his career on the wing for St. Louis but started playing center last year where he had almost a point per game with 28 goals and 33 assists through 66 appearances.  He will look to build on those numbers this season as he centers the top forward line, and the Scarecrows will need him to be successful in order to win when it matters.

Defenseman Matthias will be another player for the Crows to watch this year.  St. Louis’ goliath defender is starting his third year on the team and looks ready to eat significant minutes for the young team.  Matthias has taken on more ATOI each consecutive year and has rewarded his coaches by putting up more points and improving his +/- stats each year.  Look for him to take the helm of the defense this season and really show the league what he is capable of.

Lastly, starting goalie Evil Kyle Murray will need to have a big year if St. Louis is to be successful.  He is entering his fourth season with the team as the starting goalie, and will be sure to be kept honest by the Scarecrow’s rising backup tender Wolfgang Puck.  St. Louis has a young core and they will make mistakes, so they will need consistent play from EKM if they want to steal some wins.

I'm not going to sugarcoat this... Vancouver will have a long season ahead of them. A long season filled with hardship, trials, tribulation, but we will learn. We will come out on top. We will win a championship. And at the key to success, are our rookies. Aaron Noxus the future all time great, Trent Mackenzie the iron curtain, and Hans Gronlund the defensive anchor. These 3 players will cement Vancouvers run to climb to greatness. Vancouver will taste greatness once more, they will hoist the cup and prove they are worthy of our lofty reputation.

Let's start is off with Aaron Noxus. He is a forward and let's just say he's never thought about defense once in his life. At first, his team wasn't sure if this approach would work but his unrivaled confidence (some might call it arrogance) is inspiring his team to keep pushing to win the cup this season. The team will count on him scoring (and not much else).

Next up, we have Trent Mackenzie. Our rookie goalkeeper. She (and Hans) is responsible for covering for Noxus for when he fails to play any meaningful defense. Trent has a tough season ahead of her and she will prove to be absolutely vital if this team wants wi actually win any games this season.

And finally, Hans Gronlund. He is our rookie defender. Tasked once again with covering for Noxus but also protecting Mackenzie, he will have quite the season in store for him and he will learn a substantial bit. If he fails to live up to the expectations unfairly placed upon him by Aaron Noxus, this team might struggle to achieve his goal of 4 cup wins in a row.

Overall, the future is bright for Vancouver. Don't count us out.
