S79 mPT #1: Lets Try This Again Due: Sunday, October 20th @ 11:59 PM PST
(This post was last modified: 10-20-2024, 06:37 PM by Amidships. Edited 2 times in total.)

I'm against the idea that Hodor will be outblocked. It is simply unthinkable that Hodor will no longer hold the door against opposing shooters; he is the best to ever do it and will continue to be for some time.

Sidebar, the Mock Draft for TPE should be abolished, but TPE for fantasy should also be changed. 10 TPE per season is quite a bit of randomness especially when veteran users do their best to game their drafts on a regular basis.

Against:Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

Im sorry, just um there is really no good way to say this but the boats have some bad playoff luck. They got swept last season in the first round by thunder bay, maybe this season they will win a few rounds, but win it all? No way!

For first time since S71, Hodor wont have most blocked shots
AGAINST
Hodor is the absolute best shot blocker in the history of the simulation hockey league. to think he won't lead the league in blocked shots is crazy, he surely will lead the league again, and will continue to for many seasons going forward

For: Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

I don't follow the SHL right now, just Juniors, so I have no idea about any of those. However, Anchorage are off to a swimming start and seeing them there wouldn't be a surprise. They're 12-5 right now and look unbeatable at home for the most part, if they get a good seed and have home advantage they could make a run.

Philadelphia finishes 3rd or worse in the division.

Against: Philly, led by Tony Soprano, is poised to become the best team in the division. It’s not part of the conversation to discuss whether they’ll be third or worse. Tony will power the team with Gabagool.

Against:
Montreal wins the cup.

There is no shot in the world Montreal wins the cup. They have no talent, no charisma, no game planning ability. If you want to see a team that has it all look at Texas or San Francisco. Now these are teams that can and will win the cup. Not lowly Montreal.

Montreal wins the cup.

Against, but honestly, I don't have any real reason to say that I'm against this other than the fact that I used trip's predictions for the season to do my predictions for the season, and he had montreal as not the winners.

Against: I think it’s more likely that the trend continues and the Pride and the Panthers meet in the second round. Anything can happen of course, but I believe in that.

I definitely think Max Carnage will win second Mexico in row, I think he's the best scorer in the league along with a team that in consistently improving and growing around him.

Code: 7 teams from Southern Conference will finish regular season in top 10.

Against: without knowing tons about the southern conference, I feel like it would be bad to say 7 teams could make the top 10 simply given the amount of teams in the regular season. There are plenty of talented teams and dedicated players. Any of them could finish in top 10

Against:  Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

Anchorage has a shot to make it to the finals, just like any team in the J; however, that means it takes up a potential spot for Ottawa (my team) to get there, and I do think Ottawa has a better chance

FOR: Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

Anchorage was already elite last season and ran into some bad luck in the playoffs -- they've added more talent to a core bolstered by guys like McZehrl and the locker room is in great spirits, it's theirs to win this season in my unbiased opinion

I am against the claim that For first time since S71, Hodor wont have most blocked shots, because this would directly contradict what I put for my awards predictions when I copied people i’m pretty sure. This is direct proof that he will in fact get the most blocked shots and win awards again

[Image: Z8yXihx.png] [Image: U0nD2Rt.png]

For Calgary will score most goals.

I think there is a real chance Calgary score the most goals this season as they have had an amazing start to the season and with a moderately young team things can only trend up. They are strong on all sides of the ice making them a tough opponent
