S79 mPT #1: Lets Try This Again Due: Sunday, October 20th @ 11:59 PM PST

FOR: Philadelphia finishes 3rd or worse in the division.
I have never forgiven never forgot forge beating man in ploofs and i think they cursed us. They must in turn be cursed for us to go back to ploofs.

Against: Calgary will score most goals

Yeah I'm sorry but even as a player on Calgary, I don't see this happening. We are a good team, but I don't think we have the goal scoring ability yet to lead. Though I don't look at the stats/box scores so I could be wrong lol

Quote:FOR : Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

I believe ANC got robbed during the last playoffs due to the resims.
I’m expecting to see a ANC v COL to the finals for S79.
Unfortunately for ANC, Colorado will win the cup!

Against. I can't see these teams not finishing 1 and 2 in the division and meeting in the second round of the playoffs instead. Death, taxes, battle of the Pacific between Pride and Panthers. Calgary is sneaking up on us though!

For first time since S71, Hodor wont have most blocked shots

For. Hodor is undoubtably a shot-blocking legend and will go down in historys as such. But Father Time is undefeated and the big guy has lost a step. They'll be up there, but not quite number 1

AGAINST. Nothing against NOLA, I just don't see how they get past Texas and then the winner of the Pacific Division dogfight. The West is top-heavy right now, and while the Specters are improving and growing, they're not on that level yet. As the current #10 team, they'd be staring down the barrel of playing against 2 of the Top 5 teams in the league, and it's not that close even after 15-17 games.

For: Montreal wins the Cup.
I, personally, am in favor of whatever option creates maximum chaos, and this is certainly the one that would. After all, Montreal's been tanking hard for a while now, and they therefore should Not win anything, but it would be deeply hilarious if they did.

For New Orleans to win the challenge cup

Im for nola to win it all! It's time for a change, it's been a while since they've been (not sure if they ever have been, didn't look beforehand) plus being a Louisiana native it would be nice to see a nola team to win

AGAINST: Los Angeles and San Francisco will meet in first round of playoffs, after finishing regular season as 1st and 4th or 2nd and 3rd in their division.

I am going to say that these are the two strongest teams in the division, and with how FHM typically goes, the good teams will find ways to win games. I think they are going to finish 1 and 2 in the division and if I had to put money on it they’re the top dogs.

For for the first time since S71, Hodor wont have most blocked shots. Everybody gets older. As much as we'd all love to live forever at the top of our games, the great white wonder comes for us all someday. Game of Thrones hasn't even been culturally relevant in like a decade. My easy choice.

Against: Toronto finishes regular season as best team in the East.

I believe that Toronto will not finish the regular season as the best team in the east due to their being between two and four teams that I believe are better than them at this time including Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, New England, and Atlanta. I believe Toronto is an up-and-coming team and will be there eventually, I just don’t think it’s their time yet.

Code:

Against. As has been tradition for the past six seasons, San Francisco and Los Angeles will finish 1st and 2nd in the Pacific division (respectively), and will meet in the second round of the playoffs. So let it be written, so let it be done - the battle of the Californian kitties must always happen in the second round, not the first (that would be heresy.)

Against. I think everyone knows why I am against this and it is because I am gonna win the cup. I being the Atlanta Inferno of course so each and every of my teamates can claim that they are gonna win the cup including @unconfident and @Renomitsu obviously. Maybe not @hotdoge tho....

Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals simply because they are an incredible team. Their onslaught of rookies and second year players hit you in the face like a ton of bricks. It is inevitable.
