Since Quebec has been added to the IIHF, I think the floodgates have fairly opened. I vote that the state of Florida receive its own federation, since Florida Man is a very different nationality than a standard American.

Well i would go one of two ways either expand and relocate 4 or 5 teams into Europe. It doesn’t make sense for a single outlier to be there. But the better way to go is to give and original 6 nhl city some respect it’s due and spans to NYC. The most populous city in NA and a built in rivalry with Philly and NE.

I think we are way too strict by sticking with single dimension. We need to expand into the multi-verse like Marvel (it's working so well for them, right?). This way we can have multiple of the same team.

I think there should be an Newfoundland team in the SHL seeings how successful they been in the SMJHL I think it’s time to bring them up!

I would add a team in Saskatchewan, Canada. Because damn... that province likes to cheer and they ain't got much else to do. The saskatoon Prairie Oysters

I think the only thing I would want to change or add is to move Detroit into the SHL. It feels odd to me to have an NHL Original 6 franchise market in our junior league. But, that’s just the real-life homer in me, I suppose.

I am going to go a boring answer but say a team in New York City as it is a huge market, and there is a lot of hockey there, it would likely bring a lot of the hockey cities around it to the big city to see games.

I think a team in Pittsburgh would be nice. Pittsburgh is quite into hockey and has quite a dedicated fan base and I think it can make a good SHL expansion team.

I think that a couple of the SMJHL cities should have an SHL team as well. Cities like Vancouver and Detroit would realistically be able to support teams at both levels.

I think there’s a ton of SMJHL teams that should be in the SHL because of their location. Detroit, Vancouver, St. Louis, Carolina, Colorado, Quebec City, etc. Move some of those up to the SHL and backfill with some smaller market areas for the SMJHL.

As a Missouri resident and lover of old, defunct hockey teams, I'd love to see an expansion into Kansas City. Would need a better name than the Scouts, though.

I would love to see Halifax back on the board in some form. I'm not sure if they're up to having an SHL team but why not? I'd just bring it all back, Halifax Raiders. I feel like Salt Lake City could use a team too, or Salt Lake City.

Well, while I've recently been the focus of an IIHF team transfer, if I were to make a team for the SHL or SMJHL, it'd be something along the lines of a Halifax team. Since a Scotland-esque team already exists with the Ottawa Highlanders, I've thought of leaning to a Hellenic god like Neptune or Poseidon as the branding.

Give me a team, I'll call them the yukon malamutes 2, we'll be in the SHL and only draft yukon malamutes from the smjhl, would that work? probably not, but you all doubted us before, so I'd make it happen purely out of spite.

Well the obvious answer here for me is to start with the mascot as I know that I want to bring Sloths to more simulated sports leagues. Beyond that I would then go international and the easy option of South America for the South American Sloths.
