For Hoang and the Monarchs, the roster has been a very fluid part of the game, and it’s reflected in the player chemistry he has. His best friend on the roster and longtime linemate Meta Knight often gets promoted up the lineup, and Julian Florsch, by a degree the best defensive forward in the lineup, is always on the first line. Beyond that, it’s the ghosts of many players who have passed by and moved on. Bastien Primeau was a longtime friend and linemate until his trade to Montreal. Hoang thought Luca Pane would be a forever friend until he shut out Minnesota for New Orleans. Perhaps the most interesting player who filled in with Hoang was Dan Baltisberger, a middle-lineup player who spent a large portion of his career alongside Hoang to provide veteran support. He retired seasons ago, leaving one more hole in a long list of players Hoang has had the pleasure of developing chemistry with.

Inge Baardsen is now approaching the end of his second season in the SHL and has crossed the 50 point threshold. He has been paired with the same opposite winger for his first 2 seasons in the big league, in Brandon Gilleyes, but they have had multiple players centering their line. All have been great, don’t get me wrong, but their current pivot is the Baltimore lifer and franchise legend M’Baku Olubori, a player who has been a leader on and off the ice since Inge was watching the league after junior hockey practice back in Tromsø. Olubori brings with him a wealth of experience, as well as his natural talent and athleticism, that elevates anyone he shares a line with. Gilleyes is a year older and a year more experienced than Baardsen, so he is on the other side, he knows what it takes to adapt to the SHL as a young player and the 2 are developing together and building chemistry as a real dynamic wing pair.

Aumy Junior II is always trying to be as professional as it's possible. However, social media sometimes plays a part of his career too. For example, there has been specific games where he after a not so good period goes on Twitter and reads what people are saying about him. Sometimes it helps to get the needed energy. He never interacts with haters, but he loves to read those comments to get hyped up. Social media isn't his thing, but sometimes it helps to get things going. However, social media can't be a routine for a professional athlete. It can bring you down as well. You have to know how much it's needed and if it will help somehow. Try to take good things of it while ignoring the bad. Then it can help to improve your results and maybe even improve your team. Important to remember that there are some boundaries. Nothing is good if it's too much or the opposite.

Option 2:

Beck likes to look through what social media and the news outlets are saying about Winnipeg and his teammates. He likes to keep a pulse on the league and other teams as well so he can use any dirt against them on the ice. Beck does like the spotlight, and he does relish the opportunity he gets to interview and create news around the team, usually positive. But Beck also knows how deceiving social media can be sometimes, so he prefers to get out in person to local events and represent the team in that way. The media can be useful, but there's nothing like a good old in-person talk. Usually his message conveys the same because he is a straight forward guy, but it's also nice to interact with the fans and put a smile on their face instead of a blank stare of doom-scrolling. Every now and then someone from another team will start a rumor about how Beck is old and washed up, but then he'll just skate circles around them on the ice later.

I am going to say there have been a ton of players I have had the pleasure of playing with, some of which are still on the Panthers today. I really enjoy playing with Rich Prpich and he’s someone that I have shared a draft class with. There are a lot of others I could name, but I think there’s one person I would like to highlight: Derek Martin ( @Frenchie )

Derek came into the Panthers with a lot of potential and was someone who was the ultimate team guy. You can tell once he got drafted and finally joined our team he was not only going to be a great player, but an even better person. He is the ultimate teammate and someone you would go to war for. I have had the pleasure of playing alongside Derek as linemates for pretty much my entire SHL career, and what he has been able to do is incredible. Lots of potential and he has exceeded what anyone may have thought was possible. We bug each other often, but as someone who is more defensive, I love playing with Derek because I know when I get the puck out of our zone, he’s going to make something happen in the offensive zone. He’s been an incredible teammate, role model and friend.

Social media is the quickest way for news to spread these days, and the SHL is no exception to that rule. Justin Time isn't known for a large online presence, preferring to stick to in person fan events and scheduled appearances with the media at large, but that doesn't mean he's not exposed to it on a daily basis. Thankfully, the fans have mostly been good to him through the years, from Quebec to Edmonton and finally to his current team in San Francisco, offering their support and congratulations on wins, awards, and deep playoff runs. The trouble with social media is that the bad spreads faster than the good, and nothing spreads faster online than negativity. For every great season to celebrate, there have been tough games, missed opportunities, and false rumors and stories that can't be contained. These days, Time does his best to block out the noise and focus his energy on the great people around him.

Written Option #1

Marsh came into the league last season as a very unpolished rookie. What helped him acclimate more the J was his rookie linemates Ima Noobie and Hamper Linthome. In season 78 on an underperforming Newfoundland squad saw all eclipse the 40 point mark while playing sheltered minutes with the line combining for a total of 125 points and 47 goals which isn't too shabby for a rookie 3rd line.

Flash forward to s79 and the line is still there and exceeding expectations while still playing 3rd line minutes on a much more competitive Newfoundland squad. Through 63 games the trio has combined for 170 points and 65 goals and a combine +71 in what may be one of the best 3rd lines in the J (I've done 0 research to backup this claim). There may be lineup changes in the future but if this line stays together it could be a top producing line in the J for the next 2 years.

Jaromir Jagrbomb enjoys social media a lot, and often spends time checking out what peope talk about him. He in fact has notifications set up, so that he never misses those conversations. The reason is that he finds some comments actually useful. Jagrbomb is very much into advanced analytics and will not leave any stone unturned. He has found that in the wilderness that is internet, there are also sharp people who make smart observations that Jaromir or the coaching staff do not make. So he is always looking to find more of those people who follow the league and Jagrbomb closely enough to make actual noteworthy points on what he does wrong or what he could do better. He also has some burner accounts for all major social media platforms, so he can also spark the conversations. He’s often acting as if he’s Jagrbomb’s biggest critic, and tries to get other people to talk about him and make suggestions. It has been timeconsuming but it pays off at times!

Earl is not much of a social media fanatic. When He is home he mainly tends to his dogs on his farm. But he does hear a lot about his interviews and media from the Mutes PR team. Most stuff is negative but it does not affect him whatsoever. In fact he finds it funny and sometimes it fuels his fire for games. He's done multiple interviews where he discusses food topics and his love for a microwaved hotdog seems to always be brought up. As shocking as it is, some people have come out of the woodwork as microwaved hotdog lovers and some remain hidden, scared to be judged (@Papajon ) (@Frenchie ). But mainly Earl is a mystery to most and loves to keep to himself most of the time. But normally when things get out about him its mostly controversial because Earl simply does not give a F what people think about him.

Hip Hurts @juke is the best D pairing that Kiwi could ask for. He's so good at hockey. There's a reason he went so high in the draft. One he's an absolute blast off the ice, playing 2v2 Starcarft 2 and Smash Bros with Kiwi in their free time. And to bond even more Kiwi and Hip have a book club for just the two of them. One month Kiwi picks the book they read for that month and talk about and then Hip Hurts gets to pick the next book. Kiwi always picks teenage vampire, dystopian romance novels and Hip always picks hockey or soccer romance novels so it works out, but they broaden each others horizons.

On the ice. Hip is Kiwi's backup. She is always fighting and going to the box, so Hip has to carry most of the actual playing load on the ice. But I think he likes it. He knows Kiwi would push him out of the way of a bus if she needed to.

Option 1:

In a goalie tandem, you need to have a certain competition between them unless you have a clear number 1. Even if you have a competition or not, both goalies need to have a good relationship together to keep a good atmosphere in the locker room and on the ice.
In Texas, I'm the number one goalie for more than 11 years now and I didn't got many backup so I had time to learn a lot about them and build a good relationship with them. They are all quiet as a person so I never had a problem with them and I'm thankful for that.
I think it should be the same for the rest of the team. As a veteran, I'm trying to bring everyone together and I'm convinced that the synergy and chemistry between the team is helping us winning games. So far, building the chemistry was important for us as we have the same core since the S68-S69 draft come up in the SHL.

Zedward spends wayyy too much time online on social media. Even though when Zedward first entered the league and became a professional hockey player, he swore that he would never ever go on social media. Even though there's so much positive out there, and many many Zedward Zilliams fan pages (which he secretly thinks is just because he has a cool name), for every 10 forgettable nice posts there's 1 negative post that just burns into Zedward's brain. This season was especially tough as there was a lot of negative spewed by the online Hamilton fans and Zedward felt terrible. On burner accounts Zedward would even try to say nice things about him to try and hope other people would join in. On the positive side, Zedward does personally follow many of the fan accounts even on his main profile. His favorite Instagram page name is "Zedward's Zaddies" as they always seem to find the best looking pictures of him.

Jennifer’s current linemates are Anna Skovgaard and James Howlett. Jen has known both of them since she first joined the SHL, as they are a part of the same draft class as her. While all 3 of them ended up on different SMJHL teams, with Jen in Kelowna, James in Great Falls, and Anna in Quebec City, they were always friendly with each other on the ice. James is also Jen’s teammate on the Czechia IIHF team. They were all drafted together in the first round of the S76 SHL draft to Calgary, and Calgary always planned on playing them together. They have spent this season on the 3rd line together and have all done well their rookie season and look to keep getting better as the seasons go on. The three of them always practice together to make sure they are in sync. They do spend some time outside of the rink with each other, but Jen is busy with Le Sserafim as well so she’s not as involved as the other two.
