Dag-Otto rarely if ever takes part in any social media. But don't get me wrong, he has accounts almost everywhere. He just doesn't post things himself. Guess you could classify him as a lurker. And because Dag-Otto isn't very publicly outspoken, there also isn't much talk about him around the different social platforms. Other than when he has a great or terrible game, of course, and is forced in front of the local media team to answer their questions.

But this all doesn't mean that he ignores everything. While that's always the advice he's received, it's difficult to not be curious about what people think and write about you. Even though he knows some posts may be painful to read, he still checks them out every once in a while. Because more often than not the positive comments heavily outweigh the negative ones. And surprisingly enough, sometimes a random poster may have insider information he doesn't have. Or actually shares useful criticism rather than spewing curses.

Sushi social media is always going to be a mix of positive and negative bits due to the fact that sports figures are much beloved and when things aren’t going well also much maligned.

For Brooklyn fist it’s no different although you could say that both sides end up quite exaggerated being the captain of the Toronto North stars is elevated position of visibility and responsibility means she has far more time than other members of the team and in front of the media.

when you’re winning, specially if you played well, and I’d argue she had a pretty good season, you end up in front of the media for praise. When things go poorly however, you’re the first one to answer for every issue and sometimes is just straight up trying to stir up garbage in order to have something worth writing about to end deal with the media Brooklyn features both a mix of her own personality and a just enough of a dial back to sort of put on a good face for the media.

My players follows many social media channels and I have quite a following that I gathered over the years as well on these channels. Most of the people posting on social media are quite positive about me, but sometimes opposing fans are not that friendly and that is fine. I like a little bit of good banter between opposing teams and the fan base. I try not to engage in the convo but sometimes they leave such an open door for a witty remark that I just have to respond. Usually people on twitter are the most toxic just like instagram. On Facebook it is not as bad. On Reddit there are the best fans that are positive even from opposing teams. They are also quite informative and entertaining and know a lot about the sport as well. TikTok is something I do not use at all. Do not like that Chinese spying on me.

While often considered a team player, team chemistry in Montreal has somehow come harder for Jamie Fraser than it did when he was new to the sport and the century. Some aspects of the team have been great, but the cohesion seems to not be there when the team is out on the ice. It's hard to say what is going on with the roster, but the collapse at the end of the season might be indicative of other issues that the fans and media do not get to see. There does seem to be a lack of paparazzi photos of the team out and about together, but that's also partially due to the large number of people who are still arriving in Montreal over the last few and upcoming seasons. Having this up and coming core is important to Montreal's long term plan though, so hopefully everyone starts to fit well together.

#2: MattyJ likes to claim that he doesn’t look at social media and ignores the fans. He will tell the media that he does not read it, because that is what most players do. To be honest though, MattyJ does peek at fan threads and x posts from time to time. They do not upset him, but he does like to check the pulse of the fans. He doesn’t have a burner or anything like that, he just likes to read and understand a fans perspective. MattyJ just laughs off the harsh messages and sometimes even drops a like on them. He just uses all of it as motivation. He wants to prove the fans wrong and prove he belongs in the league. Any extra motivation he gets from social media is a plus in his eyes. Perhaps he will stop following it later in his career, but for now he definitely finds some enjoyment in it.

Option 1

The big 3 at the moment for the Nevada Battleborn are Hip Hurts, Kiwi Söderberg-Snooks, and Slava Kasyanenko. These 3 are from the same draft class, and played meaningful roles together on the same line since their rookie year. Söderberg-Snooks and Hurts in particular have played almost every minute together, starting off as a rookie pairing last season and quickly graduated to the top pairing for likely the following 3 seasons. The defensemen train together in New England in the offseason, with Kiwi being particularly fond of boxing classes. He uses those lessons well on the ice, as he's always the teammate to step up and fight for others and set the tone. His presence also enables Hurts to attempt to play more offensively and fail miserably. During the season, all 3 will often get together to watch the NFL and lament over their fantasy teams. They often hang out with fellow draft class member and teammate Badger Hennessy as well, but he's a bit of a wild card, being an animal and all.

me and my linemates have been gelling lately. the chemistry has really started to show since we've been playing together for a bit of time now. i’ve been racking up goals, but it’s not just about me out there. we’ve gotten a feel for where everyone wants to be on the ice. i’ll set them up, they’ll set me up, and it just works. no need to force anything, we just go out and play.
there’s a lot of respect between us. everyone has their own routine, their own way of prepping for games, but once we hit the ice, we’re all on the same page. it’s about finding that sweet spot between letting everyone do their own thing and still playing as a unit.
in the end, it’s simple: we make sure we’ve got each other’s backs. pretty easy to win when you've got your boys with you.

The Kid Line (even though we aren't so young anymore) in SFP is one of the best lines in the league and features the highest scoring duo in the league with Logan Webb, Levin Schattenaxt, and Dominik Winters. Webb was the second highest scoring player in the league and Winters was third. While those two may gain the most attention around the league, Schattenaxt is quietly the glue that makes the line hum. Their ability to work together as a line is something that has been honed over the better part of their six seasons in the league together. They've been together as a line for almost that entire time and it shouldn't be a surprise that as some players start to get older in San Francisco, that they have been able to pick up much of the slack and show their pedigree that made all three top 5 picks in the SHL draft.

Elly being a big cat has never been one too keen on social media, at least until she got into the league full time. She loves to share her goings on whenever she catches a bird or a fish, or is just out prowling around in one of the local parks after practice. When Elly is practicing or on the ice, she is only focused on playing well and doing what she can for her team, (with the occaosional cute pose or nod to fans/camera here and there). She does look at what others say about her, and tries to keep everything super positive, but doesn't let anything affect her. She is smart enough not to take anything too seriously and avoids interacting with internet trolls. She doesn't usually start conversations herself, but will be quick to show her defense of her team in whatever way she can if some sort of drama arises. Though her normal forms of communication are limited and she needs a translator. overall she has a peaceful relationship with social media.

Jae-ik does follow social media, but only after a win. He doesn’t see the point of looking to see what the fans and media are saying after a loss, only the endless praise and adulations after a victory.

He posts sometimes, but again only after victories or after there are transactions involving his team. Congratulations to people that were traded to the Inferno, commiserations to people that were traded away from the Inferno, and even congratulations to players who passed some milestone, especially if it’s a player that Jae-ik has played with in the past either with Atlanta or with Team Canada.

He understands the power of social media, but also the downsides, and respects that the team doesn’t want him to cause them problems by being controversial or incendiary.

Don’t tell anyone, but he occasionally gets positive discussions rolling using a sockpuppet account. He’ll say something like “Wow, that Jae-ik Barron sure did well in the game last night, huh? What’s your favorite thing about him?” and then he lets the conversation go on there, occasionally stepping in to fan the flames of adoration when necessary.
