S79 mPT #4: I’m Not Hungry Due: Sunday, November 10th @ 11:59 PM PST

The specialty food at the Atlanta Infernodome is a hotdog pie. It is like a casserole of hotdogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, and relish. It is delicious and sold by the slice at the stadium!

I mean obviously in Chicago we are going to have some fantastic hot dogs without ketchup. Some in stadium Portillos would also be an excellent addition.

the rage should have some really spicy chili available for the chili cheese Frito pies or chili cheese dogs! for our true passionate and spicy fans!. (mild version also available cause everyone needs to be able to try.)

We serve all kinds of boring food in Colorado, I think we should mix it up and get some spice in some of these dishes. When I say spice, I mean real exotic, obscure stuff - a coral that'll make your nose bleed, or a one day blinding stew. Used to get those all the time as a kid. Good memories.

I dunno what is something I would consider a local specialty that should be served at the arena, but I think that it's almost always a good idea to have the basics like burgers, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and things like that, but I think if we wanted to cater to our West Coast fan base that a teriyaki rice bowl or something similar would be good.

Not hungry? I think you are mistaking me for someone else... If i had the option to serve to the fans visiting newfoundland for a hockey game?

Obviously ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET.

Quote:But what kind of food should be available to the fans at your teams arena?
Is there something that would be considered local special?

Everything hot. Because again, it has to fit with the theme of the team.
Hot milk. Spicy fries, burgers, nachos, chicken tenders.
Even the water is hot. You drink it and wind up breathing fire it’s so hot.

No matter what kind of location your team is playing in, it better have some kind of Chili Dog/Hot Dog that is great for the masses.  And make sure it had lots of different mixes and matches to give it your cities flair for the flavors!

Thanks Ragnarr!

With the Aurora playing in Winnipeg it’s obviously very cold most of the season. As a result, different flavors of snow ones are very popular among young fans at the arena.

Not really, as far as I know. The upside of being in Calgary, however, is that you can drink a coffee pretty comfortably. Same for like hot choco.

I'm a big fan of Costco for their policy on hot dogs and I'm a bigger believer that there is no better gametime food than a hot dog. I'm happy for you to put whatever you want on it, but tell me there isn't a better feeling of sitting down at the second interval, waiting for the third period to drop, and taking a big bite of a loaded hot dog.

Every city has some type of food it's famous for. More teams should highlight these important local cultural aspects and have those foods available instead of the standard burgers, chicken, and popcorn.

I think it makes the most sense to simply offer the most basic and standard arena food. Sure there could be fancy restaurants in the lower levels, but mostly I think people have an expectation when they go to a game of what kind of food they find and it's best to provide a robust offering of those kinds of things.

Honestly, you just need some good ol' fashioned Pizza at the arena, that's available to everyone, but not just any pizza, each player's favorite type! That way you can feel more "connected" with the team

Toronto should be offering beaver tails, and poutine every game. No exceptions, welcome to Canada enjoy a dessert after our nation's animal and the dish that everyone wants to try but not tell their doctor about
