J.M.: “Well looking at it from a team standpoint, we’re managing to string together wins at a much higher rate. With our young core all continuing to pull together, and more prospects set to join us next year, we’re poised to be a competitor in the near future. That being said, I’d be lying if I said I was satisfied with my performance. Being one of the top dogs in the SMJHL for 4 seasons in Colorado only to come up to Montreal and not be a point per game in a single season is tough to swallow. I’m not scoring like I used to, I’m not hitting as much as I did before. It drains your confidence. I’ve gone out and got the best sports psychologist I could find so hopefully working with them helps bring my game back. In the meantime, I’m gonna be hitting the ice as much as possible to prepare for next year.”

Option 1: My team, the Quebec City Citadelles, will face the Vancouver Whalers in the first round of the upcoming playoffs. I think we cause a big surprised this season by ending the season in the top spot and I hoped we can keep our level of play at the same level. When we look at what happened for both teams during the regular season, I think most people will say that it should be an easy matchup for us because we add 70 points more than them during the regular season and we had a goal difference of +126, while they finished the regular season with a goal differential of -200, but once the playoffs start, anything can happen and we go back to square one. Since the Whalers are an inexperienced team, a good way to beat them would be to put constant pressure on the puck carrier which should lead to them committing mistakes on which we will get some opportunities to capitalize.

Of course, Walbilly Koala accepts! Though he is humble about his capabilities, he quite enjoys being on camera and talking publicly. Being paid that handsomely is merely a great plus. For this exercise, the sports league that invited Walbilly Koala to be a sports commentator is a volleyball league.

He prepares in two ways: looking up the rules of volleyball on WikiHow (which is a surprisingly thorough article) and watching a beloved volleyball show, Haikyuu!!
Both present the rules in an easy-to-understand package and even go into depth about complex elements of the game, like player formations, player substitutions, and specific kinds of shots/moves like bumping, setting, spiking, and digs (otherwise known as dives).

Even though he was unfamiliar with volleyball before the 12-hour study period, I think Walbilly Koala has the charisma to make people believe he lives and breathes volleyball. He wouldn’t make a fool out of himself, as funny as that could be. His public image is significant to him as one of the most famous sentient animals awakened by White Castle foods. (177 Words)

Well we know its going to be a tight, hard fought battle with New England. Both of these teams matchup well and it is looking like it will be a drawn out battle for the ages. While there was an 11 point difference, that only works out to a 5 win difference. We feel that we are much younger and will be looking to really make a real impression this season in the playoffs. While we may not have made many deep runs in previous seasons, we feel really strongly about this team and the chemistry that we have formed over the season. From the young Lavoie's, to the rangy veterans Eel and Hinata. Paired with all of the talent we have that are just coming into their prime, Seppanen, bongo and Puff, we are going to be a team to watch out for without a doubt. That's why we will be looking to challenge for the cup this season, and the Wolfpack are just the first speed bump in the way of the Firechickens going the distance.

In order to expand the popularity of the American racing series NASCAR across the globe, several athletes from around the world have been called upon to be guest analysts for various races throughout the season, which runs from February through early november. Being that a large chunk of that season falls during the SHL offseason, it should be no surprise that a number of SHL players have been approached for this opportunity. Marek Carda is no difference. Despite having some American roots through his parents, Marek still considers himself Czech and that expands through his admittedly limited knowledge of autosport. He knows a bit about Formula 1 and can recognize Max Verstappen, but knows very little about oval racing or who the personalities are in NASCAR. Undeterred, Marek has set about learning as much as he can so as not to totally embarass himself. While it would be easy to just collect the cheque, he wants to appear somewhat competant and really maximize his own experience. He's used Youtube to learn a bit about the history (they actually did race on Daytona Beach!) and some of the personalities (Petty, Earnhardt, Gordon) and recent deep dives in the the past couple of seasons so that he is prepared for this opportunity. He hasnt actually had this experience yet, but he thinks hes prepared well enough that he should hold his own, especially for a random race in the middle of summer in Pocono, PA - not far from where he lives as a member of the Forge.

Cormier may have had the luxury of playing for successful teams most of his junior and major career, but he is no fool to the way of the hockey gods. The simple fact he would want to convey on the broadcast is that any team that makes the playoffs has a chance to win it all no matter how good they are or how weak their opponent is. Especially when it comes to the SHL, there's such a small gap seperating the top half of the league that any team from 1-10 could have finished anywhere between 1-10 and that rings very true for New England and Atlanta. Although NEW finished 1st in their division and Atlanta finished 4th in theirs, they were only seperated by 5 wins. Even their goals for were remarkably close at 287 for Atlanta and 299 for NEW England. The fact is these are both great teams with an equal chance to move on to the next round and beyond.

Sorry you know my english is kind of cassé, pas de my fault, I try a lot. The important thing is to make sure that my linemates be good, tsé, they need to patine, sure, but i'm the captain and I need to make sure to habiter my testicules like the great Michel Côté said. They've been doing a tabarnak de good job with finishing plays and getting pucks on net, des méchantes garnottes les boys. Now, I think the Dragons de Cagary are going to be tough team, sacrament y fait frette au nord en plus, but I think we have shown we can win and battle hard as a team, on va l'avouère notre coupe sacrament!

Written Option 1: Langston would be very at ease talking about hockey and in front of a microphone. In fact he might be a little too relaxed and a little blunt. He speaks very candidly about how difficult of a task the Aurora have ahead of them facing against the best in the west, San Francisco Pride with the blazing hot goalie in Justin Time. For the Aurora this season, just making the playoffs was an achievement so they really will need some favorable swings and a lot of luck as well as their stud goalie in Carpet playing out of this world. With Langston leading the Aurora in scoring this regular season, a lot of focus has been placed on him, but he hopes that this year can be a great learning year and a good way to get some solid playoffs experience before a fresh wave of many new Aurora prospects join the team next season. Of course, he would love to win against the Pride, but at the time of writing, the Aurora are down two against the Pride and both games were 4-7 losses.
