Well we are out of the playoffs so I suppose if Ongo Gablogian was an analyst they would ask him how he thought his performance was in the playoffs. I would honestly say I am impressed by it. I know I spend a lot of time dunking on myself and how bad my player is, but I was happy with the performance in the playoffs. Zero goals and five assists in ten games isn’t great, but it also isn’t that terrible for a stay at home defenseman either. One thing I was impress with was the +9 rating, which I know is a team stat, but Ongo was the only one with a +9 and the next closest was a +3. I am also very proud of Ongo’s 78 defensive game rating, which was second only to the great Furious Chicken who had an 80 defensive game rating. Overall, I hope this bodes well for next regular season.

Written Option 1:

Niclas Sundqvist is dressed up more fancy than usual. While he does hate how these suits feel, they make him feel very confident in how he looks so just for an evening this is no problem. In fact, it is probably more helpful as the good look helps him relax. The matchup against Philadelphia will be a difficult one but the chances are definitely possible. With dedication and studying how they play, Niclas explains that Manhattan just might have that chance. The performance during the regular season could have been better, and would likely have helped quite a bit if the matchup was not against the cup favourites. However, Niclas keeps explaining, that he feel his physical play together with a physical team might just have that playoff energy to start breaking down some teams and is likely the advantage Manhattan is looking for. The time with the analyst deck is soon over and thanks to his openness and good eye for reading hockey, the station would be glad for his return someday!

If Sad Ketchup of the Chicago Syndicate of the Simulation Hockey League was invited to be a colour commentary guest at a sporting event he has no clue about how the sport works, he would likely accept the role and give it a try. Sad Ketchup would take the risk for the money but also for the experience. He likes to learn new things and have fun. Although his analysis about the sport would be useless, but at the end of the day the colour commentary sometimes is more about the personality than the facts or at least parts of it. Sometimes the commentary needs some personality or charisma to keep it fresh and fun. Sad Ketchup would be entertaining to listen to and bring life to the commentary. Although hardcore fans would possibly get annoyed as Sad Ketchup botches their passion, but he has the personality to make it fun and have the audience enjoying themselves for the most part.

After a disappointing, yet not unexpected 4-0 exit in the first round of the playoffs Gino Fortezza was free to join the analyst desk for the rest of the playoffs and to give some analytical statements there. You seldomly have Goalies on the desk, because they tend to be not as much into the thick of it as the Skaters do but it can be invaluable to listen to the expertise of someone who regularily has open view of the whole playing field. In typical fashion Gino has a dry sense of humor and talks bluntly. He'd describe himself as having not a lot of cahrisma but without him noticing this dry, stern und unconvential style of commentating/analyzing is in it#s own right somewhat charming and nets him a lot of love from the public. He will mostly be there to commentate on Goalie play, mistakes and key plas, but will try to provide insight to all aspects of the game as he can.

When Aksel is approached about commentating, he immediately says yes without asking any other questions. He's started to look towards what comes next in his life, and would love analytics and commentary to be a part of that. But he knows nothing about pickleball. He knows some of his teammates play, and sees some people play in the park, but it's like ping pong tennis to him. He doesn't know any rules or athletes - really, anything about the professional side too. But he wants to do well, so he pores over articles and information until he can talk about the sport and not sound like someone grabbed off the street - even though essentially, that's exactly what he is. He even is able to sit down with a few pickleball players due to the benefit of living in Manhattan - there's someone for anything within a few miles. He even plays a few games himself, and hopes to get some sport crossover and receive more opportunities like this.

LAMF Sports presents Tip Toasty as the very special guest commentator for the Cricket World Cup 2024. Toasty will be joining the broadcast booth with absolutely no knowledge of the game and will do his best to figure out what the hell is going on by the end of the tournament. He will be provided with a list of some basic vocabulary (bowler, wickets, etc.) and he will have to gather the rest as he goes. Why would he do this? Could it be the exorbitant sum of money offered to him? Could it be the press that will surely come of it? Volta will accept that opportunity, even if he doesn’t know about the sport. In fact, it’s not about the money that he will do, it’s about to know a new sport that he doesn’t know. Hedgehogs in the Sonic squad are kind of smart into tactics, so learning something new is always capturing their attention. So to get prepare, Volta will make sure to watch a tutorial made by Ninn Ly (who makes some incredible and quick tutorials to any sports, including Bandy). After, Volta will watch a few gameplays and scout the internet to find more difficult rules. It won’t be 12 hours of big studying, just a few hours. And then, he will get a good nap to get some energy for the commentator. Once the show started, he won’t make a big fool because he will understand a bit of the sport, but he is also the most charismatic guest star ever with his kind words and curiosity. The TV fans will love it and wants to see him again very soon!

1: Well for starters, I can tell you that everyone in the Seattle locker room was absolutely pumped up beyond belief to make the playoffs. It's my first season with the squad, and the energy was truly like nothing I've ever experienced before, and I know that they brought that energy with them to the ice for every single game of their series against Texas. A lot of outsiders probably labeled us as underdogs or longshots in that particular matchup, and that's a fair analysis -- Texas has an older, more experienced and developed team, but our boys have been playing gritty hockey all season and they felt pretty comfortable coming into the series that they'd put up a good fight, keeping the pressure on Texas the whole time and never letting off the gas regardless of score.

As for performance at the analyst desk? Well, Jeff isn't gonna bullshit you and say he was a natural -- it was a shaky, nervous start being in front of all those cameras, but eventually you get into the groove of having a chat with the lads and it all just kind of melts away. He might have a new career in mind once his playing days are over after that experience.

Chuck Lumbermouth takes to television with remarkable confidence. Despite a very poor showing in the playoffs as a rookie, Chuck knows his game keeps improving and is well suited for playoff hockey. When asked to break down the playoff matchup and what the Malamutes need to do to win, Chuck hand waives the question by simply stating that that is up to the coach to figure out. He then goes on to explain that he personally just needs to play his game and lean into the more physical aspects and the goals will come. He knows he is going to be counted on to play a responsible two-way game, but the expectation is for him to provide some edge and a whole lot of scoring. He will be expected to help dig pucks out of the corners and use his size to make things easier for his linemates. At the end of the day though, he has one primary job: stick to the game plan, float to space, and fire when ready. (173 Words)

Prompt 2:

Gagner was invited by a sports network to talk about the upcoming American football games this weekend for a ludicrous amount of money. Now, Gagner knows absolutely nothing about the sport but knew right away that he should accept the offer, for no other reason than sports analysis and interviews being the easiest thing ever to do on the spot. As such, he spent no time preparing and jumped straight into it with zero knowledge on the matchup.

His strategy was just to talk about the games in the most generic and vague way possible. Say things like "they just need to dig deep and give it 110% percent", "if INSERT QUARTERBACK NAME HERE just keeps at it, the touchdowns will come his way eventually", or "I think the team is capable of better, they just need to focus and do the simple things right."

His appearance was a complete success, with viewers applauding him for his spot on analysis. He has since been invited back for the next week of games.
