This has certainly been a long time coming.

Part of why this took as long as it did probably has to do with the difficulty in coming to terms what the last 5 years have been like from start to finish.
I think I have been as fortunate as can possibly be, to have the privilege to be surrounded by so many great people for so long. Winning about everything is already incredibly lucky in itself but to be able to look back at the memories of each of who it was with makes it all the more special. Plus even at the tail end of Minamino's career, to get to continue to play for the Syndicate for as long as he has is nothing short of more amazing fortune.

I feel bad about trying to tag everybody along the way who has left a mark on my personal and sim league life in the inevitability that I forget them. I do have to shout out a few names in particular such as the Newfoundland and Chicago people seeing that I didn't go anywhere else.

@JNH @SDCore @KlusteR @Carpy48 thanks for taking a completely lost newbie and setting up such a great place to be my first home which in turn had me fall more deeply addicted to this league
My S53 crew, miss you all and will always know we were the best class
Special thanks to @FuzzSHL who I've repeatedly mentioned but honestly deserves every second because of the extra time and effort he took to try and help me

For everyone else, if I did get a chance to ever share any time, even a conversation with you, I genuinely am grateful for it. Every moment was so incredibly fun that I wish I could experience it all again from the start. I can't imagine being able to replicate this experience in any way ever again.

As a result, Minamino hangs up his skates up with a variety of accolades, trophies and whatnot. But perhaps my favorite one and what finally motivated me to write up all this, is 1502 regular season games with the Chicago Syndicate.

Wow, I didn't expect to ever read this. However, if anyone deserved to finally retire it's you with all those awards and cups. Happy retirement Smile

It's been a pleasure, Nham. From classmates, SHN partners, rivals as players and teams, GMing peers, and finally a stint playing together, I'm glad to have crossed paths with you so many times over these last 5 years.
