S80 Early Bird PT Due: Saturday, December 7th @ 5:00 PM PST
#1

ONLY S80 SMJHL Rookies (S81 Players) are eligible for this PT. This is NOT for people who are getting drafted into the SHL (S80 Players).
The time has come. Your talent has been noticed by scouts at the highest junior level, and you are set to be drafted into the Simulation Major Junior Hockey League. What are the talents you possess that got you on the radar for these scouts, and that will get you picked in the S80 SMJHL Draft?
Written option: Write about the main strengths of your player in 50 words or more.
Graphic option: Make a graphic of your player demonstrating their main strength. Must include a player/render and mention what the strength is.
Reward: 2 TPE for doing the thing. (Just one of the options, not both.)
Deadline: Saturday, December 7th at 5:00PM PT

Sazed Kholin’s abilities come from his Feruchemy and his ability to store metals to burn when needed. He can access his metalminds (stored in rings he wears under his gear) to burn specific metals to get a leg up. He can tap into his pewter to bulk up and gain strength, he can tap into his tin in order to enhance his senses, etc. This all can be taxing on Sazed, but he recharges his energy between games in order to be ready to go come game time!

Brett McMann is a tough Power Forward Center entering the world of the SMJHL. Strengths include: Strength, Puck Handling, and finding the right Position on the Ice. McMann is determined to win the dirty puck battles in corners and dish out sweet passes to teammates for goals, while also crashing the paint looking for goals himself. His non-attributional strength is his willingness to win no matter what the situation is. Winning beats any personal stats, and McMann wants his team to be winning.

A pure sniper with an insatiable hunger for goals, Cutter "The Cut" Gauthier possesses a lethal release that keeps goaltenders guessing. His shooting arsenal includes a devastating one-timer and a quick-release wrist shot that finds twine with remarkable consistency. While primarily a shoot-first player, his positioning and anticipation make him a constant scoring threat.
#5

Vasher Summers uses his large size to get physical with other players. This makes him excel at defending, as he is easily able to knock other players off balance. His size also gives him a bit of an intimidation factor, not many players want to go toe to toe with someone as big as him.

Océane has, since very early in her life, been incredibly protective of the people she cares about, and that extends to her on-ice family. The thing that likely stands out about her play is how willing she is to throw herself in front of a shot, or to lay a hit to keep somebody off one of her teammates, all the physical aspects of her game, paired with an innate sense of responsibility that keeps her in line and helps her avoid taking stupid penalties that will put her team at a disadvantage.

Claude L'Castor is a goaltender who excels in positioning. He knows where to place himself to have the best chance to stop a shot. With his six foot four frame, he's got enough height to be able to see through screens and know where to place himself to best handle the upcoming shot going his way.

Ryan possesses a poise and strength beyond his years, something he takes from his time training as a Navy Seal. His impressive reflexes and ability to recover helps to aide his god-given talent. He has a streak of getting things done no matter what, and he refuses to leave a task unfinished.

River has always attacked challenges with ferocity, and that translates to her play on the ice. She can speed down the rink like a woman on a mission, with great puck handling and a nose for knowing when and where to take a powerful shot on the goal. Her control and precision can create absolutely lethal scoring situations whenever her team is on the hunt.

Mathieu Mathématique is a defensive specialist. He lives up to his name by being very smart and calculated. Any player who dares try to dangle him, or get around him, gets terminated on the spot. Mathématique accomplishes this by either stealing the puck and going the other way, or laying the body and knocking them down. He has a strong workout routine to compliment his playstyle, his strong skating allows him to keep up with the best of the best.

the main strength of dee centerman iv jr is his incredible on-ice legacy. his father, dee centerman iv, instilled a passion for not getting excited about anything and just doing what is necessary. from a young age, centerman iv jr was taught to get good at the thing everyone else wants to do least, and you will always have a job. his purely practical perspective on the world is his super power.

Currently, Joe Primeau's strengths on the ice is his precision when taking shots as well as his ability o control the puck and read the room when on the offensive. He is also quite apt at dispensing hits and checks, doing so with a good level of agility and balance. His strength helps to that regard as well, not to mention his stamina which allows him to stay on the ice for longer before being tired.

It’s easy, are your looking for a backup with plans to potentially stay in the SHL as a 425TPE max out for the next 5 seasons? Well Cauliflower Pizza is the player for you. Consider this, as everyone gets drafted and your team slowly becomes less competitive, you look down the bench and there he sits, Cauliflower Pizza. PS their glove hand has a glove on it. Nice.

Matthew Leroux is a wildcard prospect out of Rimouski, Quebec that brings a lot of size, strength and grit to the table for any team wanting to draft him. The 6'2 Center is strong on the puck and a nuisance in front of the net, while his raw hockey skills aren't polished yet he's a capable point producer as well. Leroux also uses his size to dish out punishing hits and agitate opposing defenders. He's got a hard shot but he lacks the hands and passing vision to be a pure offensive force on the ice. Defensively Leroux is capable but his speed might be a step behind sometimes.

Apollo Seaborne is the premiere two-way defender of this draft. A complete talent on both ends of the ice, providing stability in the defensive zone paired with neutral zone breakouts & support on offense. Physically sound and willing to throw the body when required, the all-around capability of Seaborne makes him a veritable "swiss army knife" and places him one full tier above his fellow S81 draftees.
