'twas the game before Christmas, and all through Atlanta,
the fans and the players all waited for Santa
but before his big visit the team had a job
they needed a win to placate the mob

so the game went on, both teams got some scores
they tied it all up with nothing but fours
the fans whooped and hollered and wanted a win
the Inferno were close, just put the puck in

it didn't take long, only one minute in
Mia came speeding to the net with a grin
a quick little deke and a flick of the wrist
Lavoie scored the winner, the defense was dissed

her teammates came in, they had a good celly
their opponents looked on, really quite jelly
at the end of it all, the teams both shook hands
they did what they could to meet crowd demands

the game was now over, the fans all went home
the win was recorded in SHL's tome
now Santa could visit and Christmas proceed
happy holidays to all who bother to read

Willow is a party animal when she wants to be so giving her free reign is likely to end in disaster, but a fun disaster. First and foremost, you need some kegs. And not for that crap stuff like Budweiser. We are getting good quality kegs of good quality drinks to keep the party going all night long. As for the food we are getting a ton of standard things like wings, 6-foot heroes, a pasta salad that everyone claims to want but does not touch, and all the chips you can think of. The party is good as all the young guns get a little too tipsy too early and start dancing around like silly gooses doing their TikTok dances and what not while the old guard sit around with cigars and tell stories of their playing days. At the end of the party both the coaches will enter dressed as Santa and give out gifts to the players – nothing crazy but it is the thought that counts.

Anchor: The Detroit Falcons recieved a very generous schedule for Christmas break, and they thought they would spend it by giving back to their season ticket holders and their biggest fans, our sports reporter has the story.

Reporter: After Detroit faces Great Falls on December 20th, they are off for the next 7 days. But before the team spends time off with family, they are spending the time off with their fans. And one of the team's best players Jeffrey Bjelland was the person who came up with the idea.

Bjelland: After training on the 21st, we are opening our training camp for our season ticket holders and some selected online fans for a chance to celebrate the holidays with their Favorite team. We thought this would be a great way to hang out with fans and also allow us a change to give back to the community.

Reporter: There will be drinks, games, and hockey fun for kids and adults alike. With a chance to score against the teams goalies for charity... and I think the goalies won't try to hard to stop the pucks the night of the event!

Anchor: The Falcons are back in the ice on December 27th at home against Ottawa.

Written Option 2: Your player is put in charge of helping plan the team Christmas party! What sort of games do they plan? What food and drink does your player decide to bring for the party? How does the party go with their teammates? Does anyone do anything wild at the party? If so, who? What happened to lead up to that event?

Chaewon loves get togethers and spending time with loved ones, so for 2024 Christmas she is tasked with organizing a party for her Kraken teammates to celebrate the occasion. Everyone is invited to rock recently released Carolina Kraken christmas gear and this will be a great time to promote the items for fans to purchase as well. There will be lots of oreo cookies and festive treats for everyone to enjoy. People will have the opportunity to make their own gingerbread house as well. Nothing crazy happened at the party, but we all were able to reflect thus far in our current season and our goal to continue improving and having a better performance for 2025.

Although they are not teammates, Jennifer Huh made a surprise visit to the Kraken party to visit Chaewon and the two got to catchup after not seeing each other for quite a while. They both talked about their time in Le Sserafim and plans for a future comeback soon.

Dash Jackson has been waiting 2 seasons for his turn to plan the annual Blizzard Christmas party and boy he will not disappoint! Activities? Oh yeah we're gonna have a few, Traditional games like a Cornhole tournament, Billiards and Darts. When the drinks start to flow later on in the night we will have a Karaoke contest and the winner will have first choice of seat on the team plane for road games and to keep things festive we will be having a team christmas trivia (before the booze hits lol) with Christmas music playing all night long to keep spirits "Merry and Bright" Speaking of Drinks, the booze will be strong and plentiful and for people that don't drink plenty of soft drinks, eggnog and of course water! Food options will be a little bit of everything from poutine, salad, cold cuts, italian dishes like baked ziti and lasagna and more desserts than you can think of! Unsurprisingly, everyone got a long and had a banger of a time. The Blizzard have a great locker room and we had "Gay ol Time"

4-4 going into the overtime. Chicago's starters are getting bodied and destroyed. In comes Bamford to provide a physical spark, the crowd cheers as the fan favorite skates onto the rink. Bamford's job is pretty clear, hit some dudes and shake it up. The opposing forward skates down the rink with the puck, he skates behind the goal and passes it back to a defensemen. The defensemen starts a power shot, he brings his stick back and BOOM. Bamford hits him hard, they both fall down and the puck is loose. Cal Juice takes the puck and has an uncontested run at the goalie he pulls his stick to the side and hits a backhand shot (is that a thing), but the goalie manages to save it. It's time for a face-off, neither center can pull the puck back as it slides into empty space. The opposition forward goes for the puck but Bamford gets their first and delivers a nasty blow to him. Bamford takes the puck, outmaneuvers one player then delivers a 360 pass to Sad Ketchup who puts it into the back of the net for the win. Bamford then fights the entire stadium solo and obviously wins

The coach was in shock,
As they had the lead once before.

The fans disappointed,
The team was a wreck.
But then Boots pointed,
To the next guy he would check.

The star of the team,
who scored the last goal.
Boots was ready to scream,
It was time to roll.

The puck hit the ice,
The opponent took possession.
Boots had him in his sights,
And he charged with aggression.

That scorer seen him coming,
But he couldn't react fast.
Boots hit him running,
And hit him flat on his ass.

The fans roared with cheer,
After a bone crushing hit.
They chugged down their beer,
No longer giving a shit.

The bench went wild!
The team was full of hype!
The coach finally smiled,
Now they needed a snipe.

Luckily for the Colorado Raptors, Normand Marineau loves the holiday season, especially near Christmas time. When they asked Marineau to help organize the yearly Christmas party, Marineau was so excited. One of the best games that Marineau has in his back pocket is "Pin the Nose on the Reindeer". Similar to pin the tail on the donkey, the player is blindfolded and spun around five times, before they have to try and listen to commands from their teammates to try and pin the small red button on the reindeer's nose. Marineau always brings his favorite Christmas drink, eggnog, to the party which gets everyone feeling a little good. The party this year didn't get out of hand but it was always funny nonetheless mostly because there were so many rookie and sophomore players this season. Naturally, everyone had to go up on the stage and either sing a Christmas song or dance to a song. The two funniest songs this year were "All I Want for Christmas is You" performed by Sevrin Quinn and "Feliz Navidad" sung by Charlie Parks.

Baltimore vs Minnesota on this year's Christmas Day
Nostradamus is excited and ready to play

On the ice for the warmups, the lights are shining down
Both of these teams look hungry, who will take the crown?

Early in the first, Baltimore is playing strong
the whole team is confident, surely nothing could go wrong

They tally up goals, a quick one and then two others
then Nostradamus pokes one in while the goalie thought it was covered

4-0 lead, this will be a blowout, no doubt
But then some unhappy fans awaken the crowd

Minnesota rallies back and scores 4 of their own
this Baltimore team is just ready to go home

Blowing a 4 goal lead, what a shame
but we're headed to overtime in this 4-4 game

They're dropping the puck, overtime is the stage
and this Baltimore team has started to fill with rage

Some crisp passing from Baltimore leads to a break
they can tell the goalie is nervous, his legs start to shake

As the goalie goes down extending his stick out real far
Peter Tingle rips the puck, right under the bar

Baltimore wins! They did it! They won!

The last game before the holiday break, the Argonauts were matched up in a tightly fought game against the perennial cup contenders the Texas Renegades. After having their playoff hopes dashed in the first round last season, the Argonauts want their revenge. After dropping their first game of the season against Texas already, Seattle is hoping to bounce back and tie the season series at one a piece. Off a quick defensive takeaway by Kal Akar Kekkonen, he dished a long stretch pass up to Prince Marius who made no mistake on the breakaway, with a slick toe-drag to the backhand into the net to tie the game at 4-4 with just a minute left in the third period.

Entering overtime, the Argonauts had a play they were hoping to execute to catch the Renegades off guard that they executed perfectly. Forcing Texas to dump the puck in, Losanov froze the puck for a defensive zone faceoff for Seattle. Pinli Switchbang, Shadow Fenix, Squidwardo Tentacles, Olivija Agate and Kal Akar Kekkonen hop over the boards knowing the plan. Fenix ties the opposing center up on the draw, Tentacles comes in and taps the puck to Agate, who hammers a slap shot down off the end boards. Switchbang was skating hard towards the opposing end and manages to beat the icing call and is in all alone! After a slick backhand to forehand dangle, Switchbang roofs it over the glove of the Texas goaltender and the entire Bench erupts as the Argos head into the Christmas break on a positive note.
