Please pick ONE prompt to write about. Do not mix and match prompts. Identify the prompt you are using in your submission - Copying and pasting the prompt will deduct from your word count so if you do this make sure YOUR submission is 150+ words excluding the prompt.

Written Option 1: A movie studio decides to make a hockey movie but they are more focused on making money so people in charge of the movie and actors starring in it know nothing about hockey. It just so happens that your player is offered a role as hockey advisor for minimal compensation but they get to make a cameo at some point during the movie. What is the movie like, what kind of tone are they going for? How would your player like working there and how much would they get fixated on to things exactly right? And of course most importantly what kind of cameo does your player have in the movie?

Graphic Option 1: Create an image that shows your player as part of a movie production

Written Option 2: During one of the last games of the season your player manages to pull of a performance that will be remembered for years to come, the replay that will be making it to all highlight reels for the season, something that might be too unbelievable for a movie. Maybe it is most incredible sequence of saves that have ever been recorded? Most incredible goal? Winning 3 on 1 fight? Goalie goal on another goalie? Is it display of extreme luck, skill or good mix of both? Describe the what happens on ice and what leads to it. How was your player feeling afterwards? Do the opponents involved make it even more special?

Graphic Option 2: Create a chart or other visual aid that could be used to visualize the performance of your player, as described in Written Option 2, by someone doing presentation about it

You will receive 3 TPE for fulfilling all requirements.

Task 2

William Salming as a reliable two-way winger and forward rarely makes it to the highlight reels because he is so steady hockey player without too much willingness to use his skills for nothing. He makes simple plays which help the team attack better. He doesn't do too special tricks just for the tricks himself. There needs to be always a bigger reason why Salming does something on the ice. But recently one of his plays made it to the highlight reel. It was the last game of the campaign and Hamilton was still in the playoff mix. The game was tied 3-3 in the last period. When the last five minutes began, Salming did something pretty unique. He collected some speed behind the own net and then got a pass to his tape by defender. Salming flied through the neutral zone. Opponent's 1-2-2 trap was weak because Salming found so much space inside of it. He entried to the offensive zone with the puck on his stick and then ended his coast-to-coast performance by shooting the puck to the top shelf. Steelhawks won the game thanks to that individual effort and achieved a playoff spot.

Written Option 1:
The movie would be a German production called "Prügelknaben" (Whipping Boys), which would tell the story of the German version of the Miracle that happened at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Austria and ended with a very unexpected bronze medal. After being ridiculed by the press as whipping boys for the bigger teams due to losing in the warm-up games against Romania and Poland, the team formed a bond and became better as the tournament went on. In the end they had the same points total as Finland and the US, but the three-way tie was broken by first comparing the teams' head-to-head goal differential, then the remaining tied teams' goal ratio. Uwe would be behind the scenes training the actors and giving notes to the writers about lines regarding the on-ice action and hockey lingo in general. As a minor reward he would have a cameo as the association member who enters the locker room after the final game to bring the news that they actually won bronze.

Written Option 2: It was late in the match. 3rd period, at rivals Calgary, down three goals. Five minutes left. Alexa had done nothing all game, a few passes, maybe, at most. It seemed the sophomore slump would continue, and it was about to kill a Cinderella run of unlikely proportion to reach the playoffs. Four and a half minutes left, and the first line is sent back onto the ice as Calgary switches to their third. They're ready to ice the game, but Dash gets a takeaway, the first line forwards are already half way up the ice, a pass. It's Olafur, it's Gewndolyn, it's Alexa, it's a goal! Four minutes, fifteen seconds left, and now down two goals, it goes to the center ice. Calgary switches out, now they're going for the kill, first line against first line. The faceoff goes to Calgary, the puck goes to Sonja Solberg, but a bone crunching hit sends it free across the ice, grabbed by Jeyeff. Sent rocketing forward, Alexa is the only on the team fast enough to get there. Lucky her that Sonja is recovering from a hit, but there's her twin Froyo, except Alexa is the tiniest bit faster, a slapshot, a goal! Three and a half minutes left, two goals in a single minute and Calgary can feel a chill on their neck, now. The game continues, the puck back and forth, Calgary settling into their rhythm as the clock drains. Three minutes. Two minutes. One minute. Forty-five seconds... Olafur knicks the puck from Calgary, he shoots right away, deflected by Soderstrom. A mad dash for the puck... Alexa gets there first. She skates behind the net, a Michigan, a GOAL! Fifteen seconds left and the game is tied! The time runs out fast. We're heading to overtime with a four minute hat trick and ice in Edmonton's veins...

Option 1:

Marek Carda is offered the chance to consult on the production of a new movie. As the hockey romance genre of books continues to sell like hotcakes, one of the major streaming services decides to try their hand at capturing the magic on screen. To avoid licensing fees, the story for the movie will be original, not based on any of the preexisting books in anyway. Since this is a play to get eyeballs of a specific subset of individuals, not much thought has been given to the hockey portion of the film. There will be scenes in which the love interest is on the ice, doing the hockey, and that is where Marek comes in. It is his job to ensure that the actual hockey being played is passable in terms of the plays being depicted and the action sequences being of reasonable realism. It's not a hard job, once 10 skaters were identified among the extras and stuntmen, all he had to do was consult in the writing and production of these limited on-ice scenes. In exchange for his work, he was offered a year's supply of starbucks, a paltry sum, and the opportunity to appear in the film. In fact, Marek can be seen driving the zamboni in the background, as the protagonist and her hockey-playing love interest share a kiss in the tunnel of the arena to close out the film.

“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

Task 1:

The movie would be loosely based off the "Grand Theft Auto 5" video game storyline. We would call it "Grand Kuzma" a storyline set for a Russian who has moved to the US after faking his death. Jayson makes a cameo mid movie when Kuzma goes out to watch a local hockey game. Kuzma and Jayson start chirping after the game near the bench. That was the end of the scene. It's supposed to be a comedy set for adults. Jayson loves working on the movie set. He gets to talk to the cast, and work on script writing with the director. Overall he does a great job listening and helping, but doesn't get fixiated on anything perfect, because script writing nothing is perfect. You have a creative way to think outside of the box. This is one of the crucial things about writing a movie is you have to think in ways to make people more engaged in the movie.

it is the last game of the season. the anchorage armada are already comfortably in a playoff spot, and there isn't much to play for besides seeding for them. however, dieter frühstück does not care one iota. he's already leading the smjhl in blocked shots, and that lead is confirmed. so he decided to show off his newly-found offensive skills in this game. he's already having his best offensive season, having spent a lot of time working on it in the offseason. so when he received the puck behind his own net, he decided to show off a little bit. he glided up to center ice before deking past one player. he then windmilled another to spring clear on a breakaway before clapping it top shelf. it was a stunning goal, and the fact that it came from a renowned defensive defenseman shocked everyone in attendance. highlight reel for sure.

Noted sometimes standout defenseman Sim Wen for the Atlanta, Georgia based hockey team who go by the nickname of Inferno is rarely one to make the highlight reel since he's usually actually a scrub out there like noted for mostly not actually playing hockey very well which is often pointed out by teammate and general manager and fan favourite @micool132. So when he got a fun superman one punch knockout while playing against a fellow scrub Ricky Koivu @Gwdjohnson that highlight circulated around the league for months. It was especially special as it was against a rival player and Sim Wen made sure to showboat and celebrate the knockout. Nothing really crazy happened leading up to the fight is was just your average goading into dropping the gloves with the other team because Sim Wen knew that the Inferno could win without him so he just was sent out to cause some excitement in the game and cause excitement he sure did with his resounding thumping of Ricky Koivu's face.
