Honestly, this place has become like a second online home so the fact that its been five years since I clicked that link in the /r/stlblues subreddit and joined up completely slipped past me. It wasn't until I saw @RAmenAmen's 3 year presser that reminded me that I finally hit one of those cool "old people" milestones here.

In those five years, I've done some pretty cool things, and have met an amazing plethora of people and have gotten a bit of an addiction to these trading cards.

So, here I am asking for your questions as I will undoubtedly put this media to fuel an ongoing shl cards addiction good use.

Thanks! I ache now in really weird places and I find myself telling new creates to get off my lawn sometimes.

My proudest accomplishment so far? That's honestly a tosser. I'd have to say it would be one of three things: Strom Chamberlains Career, Creating the Great Falls Grizzlies, or winning Gold as Team USA WJC GM and Fed Head.

Tamper? There was no tamper.... Confused

Cleaning up after kids is a Daily, sometimes hourly affair after getting home from work. Its exhausing.

As for teams, its easier for me to list the teams I've played for than the teams I haven't played for:

Winnipeg
Tampa Bay
Calgary
Montreal
Anaheim
Quebec City
Great Falls

I would love to eventually play for every team at some point.

My favorite thing in those five years is to have been a 1st generation player who won Quad Gold & IIHF HOF & SHL HOF. Like literally there's nothing else player wise I could do to be better than that.

Least favorite thing was getting a 1 week ban because I was an idiot.

My best advice to give to a brand new user is to take time to search and read through old threads. If you end up liking this place, you can 100% help make it better and progress further by learning and understanding where it has been over the last decade. Trust me, its worth knowing some of the history. With that, 100% utilize the new player mentors. When I say they know things, THEY KNOW THINGS.

The Aurora color branding was one of the best things I think Kez and I were able to do together, and it has subsequently caught the eye and been named one of the better brandings in the SHL for several seasons now, only further improved by Ace and his team.

Definitely a personal favorite.
