So here I am starting a series every season to where we count down the top 25 players from s79 so starting when the challenge cup finals into the next off-season I will be counting down the top 25 players of s79 starting with number 25-21.
25. Justin Time @RAmenAmen San Francisco Pride Goaltender Justin Time has been a great Goaltender for a long time and trend continues in S80 even though not putting up his best numbers he has been doing his part putting up a 903 save percentage (which is third in the league) and 37 wins (which is also third in the league) He has been a key component in San Francisco's crease for 5 seasons and has been part of three finals runs (which includes this season) He has a good .903 save percentage in the playoffs so far and maybe he can lead San Francisco to the promise land for the 3rd time in 5 seasons. 24. Troy McClure III @Troy_McClure03 New England Wolfpack Defenseman Troy has had a breakout season for the Wolfpack in S80 and has had Wolfpack fans excited for the future as the Czechian defenseman put up 46 points and an astounding 19 goals (13 of which is on the PP) Which is third for defenseman in the league. Troy has put up some great defensive play too with 247 blocked shots and 86 hits. And the crazy part is he's only in his 4th season in the SHL, which means he can have better performances on the way in the future and if I were a Wolfpack fan I would look forward to this players prime. 23. Tony Saprano @gurbs Philadelphia Forge Centre Before s77 Saprano wasn't really a big name in the SHL, but ever since that breakout season he has became a superstar and a top scorer of the forge and this season was no different. He put up a great 92 points which was top 15 and an astounding 45 goals (which is tied for 2nd on the league) but he has put a career high in PIM with 74: pretty much his only flaw this season. And in the playoffs he put up 12 points in 13 games which is near point per game base. 22. Konig Wolf @BANACKOCK Texas Renegades Left Wing I'm going off the board with this pick but hear me out. Konig Wolf came outta nowhere this season going from an average 60 points to being top 5 after week 2 of the SHL . even though his play has died down since, we still gotta recognize that insane rise from this great player putting up 40 goals and 86 points. I guess those last two weeks were preparing for the playoffs because Wolf put up 11 goals and 19 points in this postseason run to the conference finals. This season was so surprising for this player. And I got one real question for the future of this player? Is this a fluke season or is this the first step to prominence for Wolf? Only time will tell. 21. Daniel Gaumathan @Grum Buffalo Stampede Left Wing Gaumathan has put another great season for the stampede putting up 42 goals and 90 points this season. Buffalo is in a spot right now to where there kinda in a retool phase and Gaumathan has been a key component of this team putting up league leading stats in hitting. Gaumathan has put on a great show both offensively and defensively. So here's 25-21 of the list for the top 25 players. Keep tooned for the next portion of the top 25 players of s80 as we will do 20-16. ![]() ![]() Registered S8, S9 Challenge Cup Champion
