2. Do you like the new format? Why or why I have mixed feelings, All-Star roster is expanding, and some former players are returning for the All-Star games. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it’s always exciting to see more talent on display, and bringing back Hall of Fame players could add a fun, nostalgic element. However, I also think it takes away from what makes the All-Star roster special. It’s supposed to represent the best of the best, and if the roster keeps expanding, the title of “All-Star” loses some of its prestige—players just need to be “good enough” rather than truly elite. As for Hall of Famers returning, I love the idea of seeing legends play again, but I’m not sure the All-Star game is the right place for it. A separate event featuring two teams of Hall of Famers would be a great way to celebrate their legacy without interfering with the current All-stars 150 words 2 tpe 3. What would you do to spice up the new All-star format even further? To spice up the NHL All-Star Game, special rules could add excitement and unpredictability. For example, each team could get one mandatory power play per period, forcing strategic decisions. A goalie goal challenge could reward teams with an extra goal if their netminder scores. Instead of traditional faceoffs after goals, the scoring team could retain possession from their own blue line to maintain game flow. A “hot stick” rule could give a player scoring back-to-back goals a temporary boost, like an extra point on their next goal. Adding mystery power-ups—such as double speed for a minute or reverse power plays—would create an arcade-style twist. The final five minutes could be played 3-on-3, ensuring a fast-paced, high-scoring finish. Fans could also vote on a bonus rule for the third period, like banning slapshots or requiring backhand goals only. These changes would make the game more dynamic, engaging, and fun for both players and fans. 153 words +3 tpe 8/8 tpe ![]() Registered Senior Member

8. My teammate who made the roster that I want to talk about is Froya Solberg who had an absolutely amazing season and has been an absolute role model since I have joined the team. Being able to work alongside the Solbergs has truly been something significant for me as they have had such a positive impact on my game while I do have Chicago to thank for a lot of things the Solbergs have really opened my eyes to the game of hockey in a much wider perspective than the lens I had taken. Froya was an obvious choice though for this all star game as a core center in our division she had a very dominant season and was able to propel the Calgary offense in the right direction now while I do want Wizard to make an all star game eventually this was 100% the right pick in a stacked division. Now my hope for how she performs is that she really shows what Calgary is all about and puts up a hat trick in one of the round robin games to fully put her skills on display this game. If not a couple assists here and there would be nice to show the vision she has. (209 Words +4 TPE) 2. I love the new format it gives so many more people the opportunity to make the all star game and it to me makes the games more engaging as its not just one team versus another theres an actual tournament and something to follow along with which was lacking in the previous all star games. (55 Words +1 TPE) 4. I think the team that can field the best team is the Pacific division as you have players from three juggernauts in Calgary, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Then you add on skilled defenders like Simo and Kal Akar from the Argonauts and its a recipe for success. Overall the only team that I feel stands a smidge of a chance is the Atlantic division but I doubt it. The Pacific just has superstars on every side and will then be able to play whatever formation to form the best line possible. To spice up the All Star format even further, rather than one game, I would like to see a full playoff 7 game series between all of the teams. This not only builds up more tension but also matches up with the hype for the finals in the playoffs. One game does not decide who is better, and one game does not decide who is the actual best player with the best skills. In my opinion, the two teams should also change the lines constantly to mix things up for chemistry purposes. This could provide the most amount of chances for all of the players picked in the All Star games to succeed. (113 words) - 2 TPE 6. Although I'm late posting this, I will provide my opinions on who should be the captain of each respective team. With the new format of the SHL, there are four times the amount of potential captains for each individual team. To start the Atlantic team has many superstars from the Atlanta Inferno, Tampa bay Barracuda, Manhattan Rage, and the Baltimore Platoon. Players such as Jae-Ik Barron, Jiggle E Puff, Tony Soprano, Cale Salad, and Austin Morley are the top contenders of captaincy. In my opinion, I think it should be given to Jiggle E Puff, as he was 3rd in the league in points in S80. Next is the Central team which has teams such as Minnesota, Texas, Chicago, and the New Orleans. Players such as Chris Valentine, Kevin Kim, Jack St. Clair, and Anthony Dionne are present. And in my opinion the captaincy should be given to Chris Valentine as his performance was superior. Next, is the North East team which has teams such as Buffalo, New England, Toronto, Hamilton, and Montreal. Players such as Activity Check, Jarrod Lakemore, Johnny Wagner-Svenson, Furious Chicken, and Ace Lightning are present. In my opinion, out of these players, although Johnny Wagner-Svenson had more points, with prior experience and a great career/recent performance, Jake Lakemore deserves it the most. Finally is the Pacific team which has teams such as Calgary, San Francisco, Edmonton, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Players that contend are Logan Webb, Dominik Winters, Froya Solberg, Oskar Scholz, Elena Maximova, and Justin Time are present. In my final opinion, the captaincy should be given out to Dominik Winters. 2. I really like the format it makes it super cool and exciting and I love all the graphics that get made for it by the community! I love how many people get chosen to support each division, it does not allow some players to get overlooked and everyone who made it absolutely deserves it! 11. Dear Family, I hope you guys have been getting my letters. I play for you guys out there every night and leave it all on the ice. I hope you have been able to see the hard work and heart that you have helped me make. I still am getting hungrier for winning with every passing season and every step closer I take. I feel myself getting better but still not at my prime yet. I wish to see you guys very soon I would love to plan a trip there during a break. I wish to come back to you all and show you how much I have grown! It is so nice to see just how many fans have our last name on their jerseys and night in night out they scream it and support me. Thank you Mom, Dad, and everyone in between, for making me who I am today and showing me just what I could do in this life. Every night I go out I think of you guys and it gives me the strength to give my all for the Highlanders and soon for the Aurora! Our name has reached so many hearts and it is thanks to you all. ![]() ; background-color: #025D58; font-family: Arial;"> ![]() IIHF Federation Head Trade Me
2. The old all star format was a good one for ensuring that teams had some good visibility and shit teams got some representation. It wasn’t ideal as there were very good players who had to miss because of this. I don’t know what changed since then because I cant read but this is chill.
3. The best all star format should be two players from each team. The first is taken from a national poll of the best player on each team, and the second is done by a vote inside the team. I think this would bring in some chaos that the league more than needs in the present to bring back some toxicity. 4. The best team that can be fieled is the one from the ATL division. Tbis is the most competitive division in the league and therefore putting their best together should be able to crush the opposition each and every time. The pacific is good jtust because of SFP but outside of those guys it stinks. 5. Ubba Lodbrok is the biggest shock to me. Anyone taking the spot of gnabe is going to be a shock as he is a league favorite. Ubba played well this season but we all know that the ASG is not about the best players but the most popular. Its long past time where Ubba makes it over Gnabe and we need to fix it. 6. In the Atlantic we need to have a guest captain in order to right the wrong of snubbing Gnabe from the game. Gnabe will take that one. In the Cnetral Ron Mexico needs it as there is an award with his name so its cool. Aaron willson needs to be the next captain and then Esa Parmabrooke needs to take the last captaincy. 8. Cale salad making the All Star game is a complete sham and there needs to be some serious soul searching from the committee about this pick as there clearly is something wrong when he is the representiive from the Phorge on defense when we could have had a legend like San-Sam Emmerson back there making legitimate big time plays that would really force all other team onto their back foot. Sure if we needed to take a dude who had a decent season we could take Cale but outside of this season he has done nothing and will continue in the future to be meaningless. Bring back Ganbe to the All Star game to bring back the greatness of the game for everyone to see. Until that happens there is no need to even look at the team that are announced as there is nothing that can be done to rationalize the picks made but the dumb committee. ![]() Registered S35 Challenge Cup Champion

Code: 1. Milestones, up to 3 TPE. 3 TPE SMJHL Milestones Code: 4. Which of the teams can field the best first line, first pair or goalie tandem? What makes them the best? I think it's clear that without a doubt the SMJHL's Northern Conference goalie tandem completely outclasses the Southern Conference's tandem. Not only do they have the best goalie by far, but they also host another top 3 goalie. The tandem of Rosenthal and Solberg saved a total of 37.32 goals above average, and while Havran was 2nd with 13.83, Kittenson actually had a negative GSAA. Havran was good, but the rest of the Southern Conference's goaltending was lacking. Having 2 top 3 goalies completely leans the balance of power here to the Northern Conference. There just isn't anyone else in the Southern Conference who can compete. The only other goalie in the entire Southern Conference with a positive GSAA is Havran's backup in Carolina. (2 TPE, 124 words) Code: 7. What would be your starting lineup, 3 forwards, 2 defencemen and a goalie for one of the SMJHL conferences? Well I already raved about the Northern Conference goalies, and Rosenthal being the best makes her a lock to be the starter for the Northern Conference lineup. On defense, you could go all out with the offense here but I think you take a balanced approach and pair up the offensive dynamo Peter alongside the more physical and defensive minded Gonnawinthecup. Both have a lot of offensive skill here, and so do Sweg and Juneau, but Gonnawinthecup is going to make sure the team doesn't give up too much the other way when they're trying to score. And finally for the forward line of starters you have the 2 absolute lock in my opinion, you've got Roccamontepiano who led the league by over 20 points to take the center position, and he's responsible enough too. Then you've got Bourne, the league's leading goal scorer, and who's not afraid to get a little physical on the forecheck. And finally you take Djoe Anderson who can keep up with the 2 elite players and do the dirty work on the forecheck and backcheck to make space. The Teammate One Buffalo finished 4th in the league despite having what many would consider a rather mediocre roster, in no small part due to excellent play from blueline stalwart Furious Chicken. Chicken was an absolute workhorse for Buffalo, logging nearly 25 minutes a game of ice time. Playing on the top D pairing, as well as the first power play and penalty kill unit, Chicken was always at the forefront for Buffalo. Despite not being known for his offensive game, Chicken still put up a more than respectable 43 points in 66 games. While some might hold it against Chicken that many of those points came on the power play, no one can dispute his overwhelming defensive impact for Buffalo. Chicken managed a massive 279 blocked shots over the course of the season, many of which were high danger chances. Chicken also came in clutch throughout the season, notching 3 game winning goals despite only potting 12 on the season. Chicken also largely stayed out of the penalty box, recording 44 PIMs over the season despite his very high ice time, ensuring he was generally available to perform his special teams duties. All in all, it was a great season for Furious Chicken who is proving he is among the elite defensemen in the SH. (213 words, 4 TPE) Code: Code: 11. Written, 50 to 200+ words. 8. Written, 50 to 200+ words. The Teammate One The Atlanta Inferno were blessed to have an incredible regular season, and as a result had many of their players receiving recognition for their impressive achievements. Forwards Jae-Ik Barron and Jiggle E. Puff, Defenders Billy Herrington and Georg N'Zola, and finally Goalie Stun Gun all were named to the all star game, with several other members of the team worthy of nomination as well, such as Edouard Lavoie and Philippe Eko-Eel. Ignoring my own player, Jiggle E. Puff, I would like to shout-out Atlanta's other three all stars, as I couldn't have done it without my amazing teammates! Jae-Ik Barron should be the MVP, and his phenomenal goal scoring was the source of many of puff's points this season. Barron truly had the greatest season in Atlanta franchise history and one of the greatest seasons in SHL history. He was the driving force behind the success of the Atlanta team this season and an absolute talisman. Billy and Georg held it down on the blue line, contributing phenomenally on both ends of the ice. Their solid defensive play allowed the forwards to play aggressively and their offensive contributions helped pick up the slack from the forwards! Goalie Stun Gun was a phenomenal offseason addition who held it down between the pipes! Code: 211 Words +4 TPE 11. Written, 50 to 200+ words. Offseason Plans Dearest Mrs. Puff, The season is long. 2 milestones 2/8 TPE 8. Written, 50 to 200+ words. The Teammate One For Lyle Oldelein IV, the one teammate for him on the New Orleans Specters, is Luca Pane. Luca Pane is a player that Lyle Odelein IV could not wait to play with when he joined the New Orleans Specters. 'Luca Pane is the player I want to be like', was a quote taken from Lyle in his rookie season. Now after his second season in the league, his quote still rings true today. Lyle has been lucky enough to play on the same line as Luca a few times, and he has learned so much from him, he cherishes those chances to play with Luca. Luca is the leader on and off the ice for the Specters and he is looked up to by more than just Lyle Odelein IV. So, if you are looking for the player that Lyle Odelein IV is most deserving of a spot on the All Star roster, you don't have to look all that far, Luca Pane would be his first pick overall if he was selecting the players to play in the seasons All Star game, no question about it.
