Hi, I’m puolivalmiste and I’m one of your PT directors!

Since a lot of you are new to this community, and I would love to know more about all of you, I’d like you to introduce yourself to me (and any others reading this).

Introduce yourself and tell us something interesting/funny/odd about you. Whatever you like, really.

You will receive 1 TPE for fulfilling all requirements.

This PT will close Sunday, February 16th at 11:59pm PST. Posts submitted/edited after the deadline will receive 0 tpe.

If you have any questions/concerns, please PM me. Tasks with malicious intent will not be graded.
Graders reserve the right to determine what is malicious. You will not be warned.

Only S81 SMJHL rookies (S82 players) are eligible for this task.

One interesting thing about me is that I'm fluent in two languages - Latvian (my native language) and English, and I speak two more languages to some extent, some French (which I had to learn in school for like 9 years) and A1 level German (which I started learning about 9 months ago).

Hello All! I'm very excited to join this amazing and welcoming community, and everything has been amazing so far. I'm starting my first ever player, Cool as a Cucumber Goalie Andrew Drewski. Behind the player I am a busy person, full time worker and full time student, with alot of other activities to keep me busy. A cool fact about me would be that I'm an avid bowler, and bowl leagues and tournaments throughout the year.

Hey everyone. Not new to the league by any stretch. Been around for quite awhile actually. I'm excited to be back on a full time player and see where this guy can go in the league. Fun fact, I love to cook and recently have been expanding my repetoire quite a lot. Adding a lot of Iranian, Indian, and African dishes to my rotation. I just love that you get to experience a bit of different vibrant cultures just with your taste buds and cooking techniques.

Hello all! My first draft was amazing experience and i got drafted in second round, so excited to be a part of great team and this great community. I'm from Finland and IRL i'm a true hockeyfan and my favorite NHL team is Detroit Red Wings. I also like to play console games. Fun fact about me is that i've been played one tournament in u16 streethockey world championship for team Finland, long time ago.

Not new but this is my second J draft to be a part of and my very first recreate! I was not expecting to be taken first overall when recreating so that's really fun and exciting! As an introduction to myself for anyone reading this, Hi, I'm CapnCooper, GM of the Texas Renegades and head of the SHL Award Committee! I joined the league August 2021 and have been enjoying every minute of it! I've worn many hats and have gotten to know lots of people and I'm even more excited to continue to know more about my draft class!

This is my first sim league of any kind and it’s been an absolute blast so far talking with everyone and figuring stuff out, can’t wait for the games to get underway. Noxu summed me up pretty good on the draft stream but I can give it another go! Summertime Toaster and wintertime Toaster are complete opposites. Wintertime I’m a hermit that wants to just stay inside and play video games and watch hockey except for the occasional snowboarding weekend. Summer me wants to be outside 24/7, camping or climbing, riding motorcycles or 4WD off-roading. Though I’m not opposed to playing video games in the summer if the weather is disgusting. Most interesting ‘fun fact’ I like to tell people is that I’m allergic to chocolate, like could possibly be deadly allergic. So no celebratory chocolate chip cookies for me.

Hi all! I've been around in the hockey sim community for awhile, but this is my first time as a player instead of a gm, and first time with SHL! I spend most of my free time reading, gaming and with my family, although in the summer months I'm generally sequestered in a forest far from civilization, living off of freeze dried meat and Mr. Noodles.

Hello All! Thank you for accepting all of us with open arms. Very honored to be apart of this massive draft class.

Some facts about me, I am a Varsity Basketball coach. I have played football, baseball, basketball and wrestling. I never played hockey but it became my favorite sport because of how fast paced it is.

I also play competitive kickball. Half the league is there to drink other half is there to try to re-live past glory.

It's always these questions where it makes you realize that you need to get more fun in your day to day life. I think the Mass Effect fun fact was during the draft, but I've played that game like 10 times all the way through. Never gone full renegade, my heart just can't do it. I'm also a huge Destiny player and have been since the very first game. Top 1k raider and all that, very boring stuff. Just got into Warhammer and enjoying that a ton as well!

This is my second league, my first being the ISFL. I'm currently a GM over there for NOLA with @thewhovian!

I'm egregious (woog on discord) - I have a ukulele album, write alternate history about Mali and Latvia, wear bright solid colours, am loved less by pets than my girlfriend is, and find zen in the process of making coffee, especially manually.

Hello everyone. This is my first time doing anything like this, never done any type of simulation league before. I just recently got into hockey, I got some free tickets from work to go to the playoff games last season for the Cleveland Monsters. After going to two games my wife and I got season tickets. I will be going to my first NHL game in about 2 weeks to see the Bluejackets.
