Ironically, the Nevada Battleborn locker room is mostly silent on game days.
This silence is only superseded by Kevin MacLeod royalty-free music. The only exception to this rule this the 1986 Los Angeles Rams promotional video, "Let's Ram It", this is on the account that we all have the humor of a 14-year-old child. As previously stated, the rest of the music that is played is exclusively Kevin MacLeod royalty-free music. These songs include

Hype Music? Oh we got some jams pumpin every game.
1) Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle) by Limp Bizkit - How can you not get pumped up in the first 10 seconds of this song. What do you do when you score a goal, you keep ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN'. 2) Worlds Apart - I'm still not 100% sure who gets credit, but if you're a wrestling fan nothing hits harder than Sami Zayn's music popping and hearing thousands of your brothers and sisters singing along to by far the best spirit boosting song in the last decade. 3) Kingdom by Downstait - Again, another amazing song to hear to get up and ready to fight. Every line of this song gets the blood pumping more and more. Fight for your team, your city, your fans, and most importantly, yourself. 4) Demon in Your Dreams by Motionless in White - The ultimate battle song. You want a reason to fight? Look at my eyes, this is do or die. 5) The Pokemon Theme Song - Nothing says what we all strive for better than this. I want to be, the very best. Like no one ever was. This is the motto for every player who ever played any sport... plus it's a nice change of pace ![]() Honorable Mention that occasionally would get thrown into the shuffle: Leave a Light On by Papa Roach - We all need to be there for each other in the long run. These games are short, but the impact we create on others can be ever-lasting. ![]() Registered Member ![]() Registered Member ![]() Registered Posting Freak
Raised as a basketball player first, the pregame playlist tapes have carried over from that a little but I’ve mixed it up to be a little more hockey-ish
1. DMX - Ruff Ryders Anthem A classic pump up song, plus we get other teams to stop and drop and of course we shut em down. This one’s easy. 2. Roy Jones Jr - Can’t Be Touched Another classic, this one’s been on my pregame playlist for years. Every time we go out there it is our goal to be untouchable! 3. Andrew WK - Party Hard I feel like this one just screams hockey, and others might agree. If we emerge victorious, we can absolutely party hard after. Gotta win the cup first! 4. Ozzy Osbourne - I Don’t Wanna Stop No warmup would be complete without some Ozzy, I don’t make the rules! 5. Wolf Mother - Joker and the Thief I really had to save the most classically NHL song for last, in order to complete this list! ![]() ![]() Registered Member
I'm a FIFA junkie, so expect to see many songs from the past.
1. Call it What You Want - Foster The People This is a great song, it gets your blood tingling and body moving at the sounds of the beat. This song can either set or break the mood for the game. 2. The Less I Know The Better - Tame Impala This is another classic song that the team loves to sing, so we would always add this to the playlist. The guitar riff is amazing, and forces you to dance. 3. Glass Animals - Youth This is another pop song & a classic, reminding us of the past and the present. We should take advantage of the opportunities we have now. 4. Way Down We Go - KALEO The melody of this song is riveting & bone-chilling, and the locker-room needs to get rid of these goosebumps before we head out to the ice. 5. Cocoon - Catfish and the Bottlemen A fantastic song to round off the top five, as it provides a solid melody & slow tone for the locker-room. ![]() Registered Member
The Walleye are only pumping fisherman classics and sea shanties. When the music starts playing all the players gather around and do a fisherman jig. The playlist is as follows:
1. John the Fisherman by Primus - this song is the perfect song because we all want to be fisherman. 2. Wellerman sea shanty - The best song to unleash dominance and intimidate the opponent. 3. The Five Pound Bass by Robert Earl Keen - This song is perfect for the walleye. Even though we are not bass they are our close friends and we love to sing their song. This one pumps us up right before we head out on the ice. 4. Drunken Sailor - This is out post game celebration song whenever we win. Of course with a couple of beers in hand. 5. The Fisherman's Song by Wild & Beautiful - A beautiful song to play post game to relax and recover after we celebrate for hours. [156 Words] ![]() Registered Member
The Carolina Kraken's pregame setlist would look something like this:
Not Like Us - Kendrick Lamar Mainly just to piss off @Hetaksh but a pretty big hype song regardless; if Heta pairs to the locker room speaker first, he'll put on Drake instead. Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd You know the church scene in Kingsmen, where everyone goes nuts with that song playing in the background? Picture that but hockey sticks, jerseying and bucket fights. Entirely in good fun. Entirely. The Summoning - Sleep Token A favourite in the LR and a great song to get fired up to right before puck drop. Crab Rave - Noisestorm Used as a warm up song, the entire group will find themselves inadvertently grooving to this track, warming up without even realizing it, as they do the Crab Rave dance. Seriously, listen to this and try not to bop. I've listened to it 6 times while writing this. Elevator Operator - Electric Callboy A perfect representation of all of the musical tastes that bring this locker room together, Elevator Operator features a little bit of everything for everyone and serves to get the blood boiling right before a rivalry matchup. It has an elevator music breakdown. Yeah. ![]() ![]() Registered Member
In Nevada, we like to keep a light tone in the locker room, and the pre-game music reflects that:
1. Viva Las Vegas - Elvis Presley Ideally this will be playing as we enter the locker room for gameday. Light-hearted, but reminds us who we are and what we play for. 2. Sin City - AC/DC Keeping with the Las Vegas motif, but with that famous AC/DC energy to get the people going. 3. Down with the Sickness - Disturbed An important part of Harland Sanders Routine. Along with listening to it on the way to the rink, he will usually plead to hear it in the locker room. A plea that is usually ignored, but it pumps Sanders up when someone relents and everyone hears that famous "oh, ah-ah-ah-ah" 4. Don't Get Captured - Run the Jewels On to the serious stuff, this song made famous by the hit show "Invincible" has a great energy to it that will make anyone want to run through a brick wall. 5. Not Like Us - Kendrick Lamar This one usually rotates based on what's going on in pop culture and everyone's mood. Still reeling from the Super Bowl halftime show, how can you not add this to the playlist? ![]() Sig by RainDelay ![]() ![]() Registered Member
Music belongs in every locker room and it is important thing to get a right feeling for the game, so Nevada's playlist would be something like this:
Fort Minor - Remember the name This is a true banger and every hockeyfan knows this song. It also give me so much memories at the time when i was playing ice-hockey myself. Motörhead - The Game This is a last song what we listen before we jump to the ice. Legendary song. Darude - Sandstorm Again legendary song, which you still can hear even in NHL games. Timeless classic, and everyone recognizes this song. Made in Finland. Bullet for my valentine - Tears don't fall This is one of my favorite songs of all-time. This is a true banger and again, everyone recognizes this song, and probably can even sing along. DJ Mangoo - Eurodancer I'm a rock music fan, but this song is amazing and brings me so much memories from my childhood when me and my friends were young without any stress about anything. This is not a famous song, but i'm sure that teammates would like this song aswell. ![]() Registered Member
The Anchorage Armada dressing room is filled with all different types of people, and therefore a ton of different tunes. Here’s a list of the top 5 songs to get the fellas GOIN!
1. Welcome to the Jungle by Guns n Roses - This song sets the tune for the night by firing the guys up! We sometimes replace the “jungle” part with “waters” as we are an army of boats. 2. Enter Sandman - This song also gets the blood boiling. Lots of long parts of just base to get mentally locked in. 3. Thunderstruck by AC/DC - This was a personal favourite for myself as it wasn’t my teams warm up some in minor hockey. Helps to get Jonny dialled in! 4. Real Slim Shady by Eminem - Kind of a curveball when it comes to style but it’s the most popular among those who like rap on the team so we play it in the room. 5. All I Do is Win by DJ Kahled - This is the final song before we go out on the ice and it signifies what we want to go out and do, which is WIN NO MATTER WHAT!! Jonny Hockey - Goalie (#30) - Anchorage Armada

When your team name is the Walleye, the pre-game playlists tend to write themselves. As Leon Dusty put it, the rink during practice and warmup is bumping plenty of fishermen classics and sea shanties. However, there's more than just those going on, but Silver isn't really the best person to ask music opinions of. But, for the sake of the team, here's what Silver would add to the playlist for the team:
1) Derezzed - Daft Punk From the score of the cult classic TRON: Legacy, this song picks up the energy before players hit the ice. Need a good song to get fans hyped up for the match ahead. 2) Spawn! - Evan Fong A much newer song that not many people are likely to have heard, this one is a little more low-key, more akin to nice background music to keep things smooth while the players warm up. 3) Give Them the Forecast - The Newton Brothers Brought to us by the X-Men '97 show, this song helps add an air of gravitas to player introductions. 4) Animal I Have Become - Three Days Grace Every stadium and team need that one song before puck drop to inject hype back into the crowd and get them pumped for what they're about to see, just in case warmups and introductions suck a little life out of them. 5) Welleman - Sea Shanty Do you know how hard it is to not have this song on the Walleye playlist? For a fish-based team, not having a sea shanty song on the playlist is just unacceptable. This song is definitely THE warmup song for the Walleye! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered Member
while being in Ottawa, Victor has acquired an interesting attraction to music. he says that the best music to listen before hockey, there is NO debate, is Rock. ALL his hockey playlists (yes there are multiple) are 90% rock and 10% Katy Perry (He doesn't want to talk about it)
#1 Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne the OG rock song, but still the goat. #2 Numb, by Linkin Park Linkin Park is Victors fav artist overall, and numb is just the epitome of great songs Linkin Park pumped out #3 Get in Trouble (So What) by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Vini Vici W song for getting the blood pumping, especially if you are preparing for a physical game #4 The Emptiness Machine by Linkin Park Hot take, bit of a wonky song, but still great. #5 Teenage Dream by Katy Perry Just let it all out y'know?
