2. Which team has had the easier road to the cup finals? Do you think they could have made it to the finals if they were in a different division?

So I think San Francisco had the easier path because they were pretty much the top seed and had to face the 8th seed Winnipeg and they got home ice advantage in the whole playoffs and they pretty much got through the first three rounds with very much of eas and had no game 7's, while Tampa has had to come back from down 3-1 against the forge while having to play on the road twice and they had to overcome adversity with the new England wolfpackd in the ECF with the wolfpack storming back from down 3-0 to tie the series and force game 7 at the wolfpack's home ice and Tampa delivered 1-0. So personally San Francisco had the easier road and I think no matter what division San Francisco is in they would probably get through each round and winning because they are the best team in the league right now and also they won the president's trophy which gives them home ice advantage through the whole playoffs and also knowing there playoff history I would expect this roster to experience one last hoorah for the home fans with one of their best teams that they have had yet.

10. Written, 50 to 200+ words. What do they do different?
We’ve seen Tampa Bay and San Francisco make the finals twice in a row and both 3 times in the last 5 seasons. What do they do differently that other teams should follow for better success in their future playoff runs?

I think both Tampa Bay and San Francisco has some of the best rosters in terms of tpe and the experience in the playoffs from so many deep runs and what I think they do different is that they have pretty much stacked rosters and great tactics, all of which leads to them having so much success in the playoffs.

Well this one is blatantly clear and the answer is San Fran. As always with less tanking teams in the east it's a tougher road throughout the season and intelligent thought makes you think that that season prepares them for the playoffs. In reality, Tampa had to go through Philly, Atlanta, and New England, all of which are perennial powerhouse teams. They had tough opponents the entire way and you can think of it either as they slogged through a very difficult three rounds and are drained and tired, or they are battle hardened and ready for whatever bullshit San Fran is able to toss in their direction.

I do not believe that everything will get knocked down a peg with expansion changing the landscape of the league. I think it will lead to higher scores sometimes, probably a few seasons of new strategies and attempts for massive wins and playoff dominance before settling into a new normal, but most likely every team will stay comparatively the same. Some teams will handle it better than others by making trades to allow them to continue to be good, and some teams will simply sell off and try to rebuild. I believe that all of the expansion teams will be given to users who are somewhat competent, so I believe that the best laid teams to succeed will be those that have layered depth and a well-rounded roster. 2. Which team has had the easier road to the cup finals? Do you think they could have made it to the finals if they were in a different division?
3. The duo of Dominik Winters and Logan Webb currently lead SFP in scoring this postseason and have been top 10 in SHL scoring for the past three seasons. What makes them so special, and what does it mean for them to stay on top as a duo rather than a single successful player?

2. For the two teams in the cup finals, I would say that the San Francisco Pride have had the easier path in making it back to the cup finals. They won each of their previous series in 6 games whereas the Tampa Bay Barracuda have had two series requiring 7 games. Also, I believe the western conference has more teams re-building compared to the East so SFP would have some games where they had a better chance of winning and thus improving their record. I would still give SFP a high shot of making the cup finals if they were in the East but for TBB, i'm not so sure because they had an average regular season and barely squeaked out series wins by requiring 7 games. I would say for TBB this season in the playoffs, they were the underdog for each of their series but have found a way to come out on top so who knows what will happen in the rematch from S80.

3. We have seen how important line chemistry is in the FHM era and for SFP's Dominik Winters and Logan Webb they have been together for a while now and i'm assuming have legendary chemistry with each other which is the highest you can reach in FHM. It is not a surprise to see them leading the way offensively for SFP this past season and so far in the playoffs. They have connected on each other goals countless amount of times and when you can develop that chemistry with another linemate it makes it that much harder for the opposing team to defend. Hockey is a team sport and can't be relied on a single player to carry the team, luckily SFP has a deep and stacked roster so they are able to roll 3 lines effectively but every time that Winters and Webb are on the ice, the chance of scoring goes up that much higher.

“I thought I was a goalie, but STA told me forget being a goalie they make nothing, and no one cares about them.  Guess what I was a center all along and I had no idea. Now I am the toast of the town, and I am getting offers from all the GMs and Scouts.”

11.   The biggest disappointment this year in the playoffs was the Quebec Citadelles. Even though they lost their two best players, they led in wins in the regular season for the third year in a row. I may be a bit biased as a Quebec player, but they could have gotten the three peat. Instead it was a disappointing second round exit to the Vancouver Whalers. As a player who was previously on Vancouver, it stank to see all these rookies who thought they would never get close to the Four star Cup take out the juggernaut in just six games. To make it even worse, the Pride got a three-peat in the SHL. We had the chance to rival them with a parallel dynasty in the minors and we failed. I went to the classic standby of cheering for the team the beats whoever beat you, which ended up being Kelowna, who went down to Carolina in six. A slightly less major upset was Kelowna beating the second-place Newfoundland, which is pretty serious in itself, didn’t matter a ton to me, but I’m sure the players felt it. It was a year of upsets in the playoffs, but at the end of the day, we all have to agree that the best team won.

12. I haven’t really considered this since I play in the SMJHL, but now that I got called up I am a potential pick for an expansion team. This expansion will cut short the reign of this year champion. The Pride and Barracuda will regress to fast to really feel this cut, but whoever wins the Challenge Cup this year will lose some major pieces.

2. Neither the Inferno or the Pride had a very easy time getting to the finals this year. They both faced very good teams and came out on top. As for who had the easier time, I'd say the Pride. Being the much better team, they were the top team for all of their series and were able to take them down and advance. I'm not saying the Pride had an easy time of it, facing very good teams, but they certainly had the advantage going into the playoffs. As well as with Texas being eliminated before San Francisco had to face them, it gave them weaker opponents. Meanwhile in the east, the Barracuda were not ranked very high, having to take down the Forge, the Inferno and the Wolfpack before advancing. All those teams were higher ranked and just better teams, so the Barracuda definitely had harder opposition. But in the end they made it, and one more series was played. Again the Pride had the advantage and the easier road to the cup, playing another team that was worse than them. Ultimately they unsurprisingly came out above the Barracuda, due to being such a dominant team with a much easier road to victory.

12. I didn't think much about the expansion teams upcoming and players that they would need. Losing players is very hard for any team, especially their best players. I think while some teams will continue to get stronger and have more success, there will at the same time be a lot of movement in the league, trading for cap space and trying to fill up gaps in their teams that the expansion draft may leave.
