The origin of ShadowFenix is that I was like 8 years old, and I was playing starcraft. Fenix is a character in it, but I wanted my name to sound cool, so I added Shadow in front of it.

I saw that Patty had a player with the last name pizza so I decided I would copy him and created a player with the last name pizza as well.

I was a fan of some Finns in the NHL like Tuomo Ruutu, Jussi Jokinen and Joni Pitkanen so I knew I wanted to make a Finnish player. The Hurricanes had just gotten Teuvo Terravainen and when looking at Finnish names I noticed Toivo meant hope and that sounded cool.

My username is my name. Very mysterious of me, I know. VIktor Hargreeves is (obviously) from a character in The Umbrella Academy TV show. I'd say the comic book too, but Viktor doesn't exist there. Smile

The SFP LR does however make me wish I had named him Viktor Netflix because it is more fun to say.

Brooklyn Physt is canonically Richard Physt’s daughter. Family relations of SHL players are a common continuation of lines of players here in the SHL.

Richard Physt however, was a silly name I got from. YouTuber and a bit tongue in cheek. (If you know, you know.)

I hate picking usernames. I did not want to add something that could be used to doxx me, and I had no idea what to pick as a username here. I wanted to choose something related to hockey but did not know what. I picked Mike Liut, the best goalie of the 80s, from a quote from a (not that good) song by a great band.

You ever see that one movie starring that one actor who is really talented, but is also kinda creepy in that he doesn't like his girlfriends over a certain age. Well he has one movie where his character has to survive some pretty harsh conditions, and he wears a bear.

Jorec was a random name I made up about 15 years ago. I don't even remember what influenced the name when I created it or what it meant but when I registered with the site, I used it. Now it's pretty unique as I moved away from using this handle a long time ago.

My current player is named Hip Hurts because in real life my hip hurts, and then also because I could make him canonically brothers with tez's player Tummy Hurts

Easy peasy! My user name is The Whovian, named after my love of the show Doctor Who. Last player I went with a beloved enemy of the Doctor, Supreme Dalek. Over in ISFL my player is just Doctor Who. This time around I had just started watching the Matt Smith seasons when I created, and thus Matt Smith was born!

The story behind my player's name is kind of interesting I guess. I took parts of my pseudo-step kids's names (Scarlett and Beatrice) and of course I had to add my faithful pup Bayley to the mix as well. Thus you end up with "Scar(lett) Bea(trice)(Bay)ley" or, Scar Bealey. I'm a sucker. I know.

So the story of my players name actually has to do with one of my friends from sim leagues who is wizard_literal and I was like ya know what would be funny if I had a player who was a literal wizard heck someone even tried to scout him instead of me which i found funny
