2 things I'd like to say regarding this punishment.

1: the language is unacceptable, but I think branding Hamilton as toxic is a bit too harsh.
2: the transparency for this punishment compared to the HHH one, and the circumstances regarding them (one being the leak of a locker room channel, the other being the user VERY DELIBERATELY messaging a GM something mean enough that it likely contributed to him going dark and leaving the site altogether) is crazy. you'd expect more transparency from the trips one too, but i guess not. also like to mention here that i'm glad ho rejected the appeal from trips here, as it sets a good precendent.

As explained in the post, this took place in a public space that represents our league, while the other offense occurred in DMs, involving a party who was not able to be reached to give consent to have that shared even if we were in the habit of sharing screenshots for conduct violations (which we are not, and never have been). While we do not share screenshots with the public on these matters, I can clarify that the other punishment, while also a conduct violation, did not involve any offensive or derogatory language, and was ruled on based on tone and intent. If the GM's are participating / allowing speech like this to happen in the LR, wouldn't it make sense to issue some sort of punishment to them as well?

I inherited a CGY LR that had a literal softcore porn channel left over from previous management, so if that didn’t get punished and there was no specific rule change in the intervening period I don’t think “built a bad culture” is generally punishable unless there’s a specific smoking gun.
