The Nevada Battle born have a large variety of music they listen to pregame
1) Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue. I honestly believe the intro to this song could resuscitate people back from the dead. The intro gets everyone pump up and ready to go.
2) Rollin'- Limp Bizkit. When you are on a roll nothing says better than a song that just repeats the word over and over. Big pump up song and wants you to keep the streak rolling.
3) Fight for Your Right - Beastie Boys. Fighting to move up, and get into playoffs this song is what we listen to. Thinking about how we need to fight to prove to the league that we belong.
4) Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - Daft Punk. Does this song even need an explanation? It says it right in the title alone. We need to be better than everyone else. Also this song is a banger.
Number 5 is played post game after a win
5) Life is a Highway- Rascal Flatts. Well after a big win, everyone can get behind belting out the lyrics to this song. Just feels like you're cruising down a highway of success.
Bob Bergen Jr has bought a new playlist the the QCC locker room. It's Tom Jones - What's New Pussycat 20 times, with a single It's not unusual mixed in there at random. He is no longer allowed to have access to the speaker.
However the team does have a shared playlist that's a little more serious (just a little though) on there are the following songs:
Avicii - Trouble : Not just a great song, but reminding the team of how far we've all come to reach this point, but we've still got a long way to go still
Avenged Sevenfold - Hail To The King : Everyone on the teams loves a little A7X, just a fun high energy song to get everyone pumped
Sabaton - Masters of the World : A great song when things might no be looking great "Have we been broken? Did we go down? No! We'll never fall, we're the masters of the world"
KAJ - Bara Bada Bastu : Bergen Jr. introduced the team to Eurovision recently and since hearing this song, it's been in the playlist on repeat. Everyone on the team loves a sauna!
Stompin Tom Corners - Good Old Hockey Game : Are you really a hockey team if this song isn't on the playlist?
I chose Easy because I believe this is a pretty obvious choice, our star player is literally Kim Chaewon and it became the teams favorite song by them very quickly. Handsome and Wealthy is chosen because Carolina just knows how to keep players money driven and shows the hardwork pays off in time if you continue to keep wanting to improve yourself. I chosen Play For Keeps because were playing for the chance to defend our title and we'll show the entire league why we are going to because when it comes crunch time we don't fold under pressure. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is just a vibe song to keep spirits up, we are always trying to be in good spirits and it helps immensely having songs that match that up tempo style we're trying to have. Tryna Make Sure is just a song I personally like so I sneaked it into the playlist.
This 5 songs that the Citadelles have been playing this season as pre-game playlist have been helping us been prepare and focus for the game.
Lefty – Title Fight
It’s gritty and unpredictable. It reflects our mindset going into a tough matchup, we are locked in and ready to take out anyone standing in our way.
Lean With Me – Juice WRLD
This song helps us settle into our thoughts before the puck drop. It is reflective and reminds us to stay composed and mentally strong.
Sum 2 Prove – Lil Baby
We all have something to prove, whether it’s to ourselves, doubters, or even the fans. It's our current mindset this season.
After Party – Don Toliver
The best song if we want to lightens the mood. Perfect to loosen up and keep confidence high without overthinking.
Stronger – Kanye West
A classic motivational anthem. This is good to listen when we need to switch up. Everybody sharpens their focus, ready to go harder, faster, and smarter.
Break Ya Neck - Busta Rhymes
Chill vibes, and you can bop to it when working on puckhandling..win/win.
Trouble - The Bones Of J.R. Jones
This song has an EODM feel to it; drums, guitar, and bass have a similar feel to it, all you really need is Jesse Hughes on vocals. This song is a good tune to listen to before you go out and lay waste to the other team on defense.
Queso Blanco - Quaker City Night Hawks
Right out of the gate this song feels like it came from a lost era of disco swing music. This is a shoutout to everyone in the hockey world with a love for tacos. Everything about this song is catchy.
You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire - Queens Of The Stone Age
Mildly screamo, this is definitely something you could nod your head to when you're on the bench waiting for your next shift. You can imagine just tracking down the puck carrier and laying into them just after your first few strides on the ice. It's an underrated banger, in my opinion.

When Dana Katherine Celly has the aux cord, the Thunder Bay Walleye are bumping the following jams:
1. How You Like Me Now by The Heavy
There is a reason they use this song in all kinds of commercials. It makes you feel like you could do anything. It makes you feel like you need a new truck. You are going to hit a hole in one next time you're out golfing, so come play a round. It makes you feel like you're gonna get a hat trick, natural or Gordie Howe.
2. Dana Katherine Scully by Tacocat
One day, this is going to be Dana Katherine Celly's goal song, for obvious reasons. She plays this every game until she can manifest it. The truth is out there, but so are lies.
3. Psycho Killer by Talking Heads
Listen, when you are having a down season, you need something that fits the mood. We've got nothing to lose, so let's get a little bit crazy out there.
4. Prehistoric Dog by Red Fang
This song sounds like conquering a mountain of PBR with your closest friends. It's a perfect team pump up song, especially when your season doesn't have much else to play for.
5. Freak Out by American Sharks
This song is the final salvo in the unhinged battery. Now that we've built it up, it's time to shake it all loose. High energy freak out, get ready to play some hockey.

If there's one thing that Darnell knows is important for his boys before a game, it's that we need utterly horrific vibes. Just sheer confusion. We don't want to step out on the ice too fired up, but not too laid back either. We want to step onto the ice in a cold panic and with some existential fear. So this is a playlist to put the edge on, if you will.
Money On It - Together PANGEA: Nothing gets your head in the game better than a song about a failing marriage and a dead bedroom.
Seven - Men I Trust: I'm pretty sure this one's about getting seduced by a vampire, or some other creature of the night, and they may also be a cult leader? It's thought provoking.
Tu Con El - Frankie Ruiz: What about not just unrequited love, but seeing an ex lover you still have feelings for dancing with her new man? Wouldn't that get you ready to get low and eat a few pucks??
Sports - Viagra Boys: I think this one is about sports. That's what we're doing here, right?
The Anchorage Armada have a large and diverse locker room and with that comes all sorts of different music tastes so there is often a battle to see who can take control of the music system before and after games.
If its Kameron Urchin-Mullen then often we end up with Hey Ya! by OutKast. Sometimes new rookie Henry OfSkalitz manages to wrestle it away from the rest of the old hats and one of his favourites is Joker and the Thief by Austrlian rock group Wolfmother. Luka Lilja likes to think about how is going to get paid by his upcoming SHL team and likes to listen to his fellow Swedish countrymen ABBA and particularly their song Money Money Money. Gabriel Oliver Koivu is a big fan of Arcade Fire and My Body is a Cage is his pre match banger to get the blood going. Finally Rocko Kirkby calls upon his kiwi roots with Alien Weaponry and thier first big hit Kai Tangata.

Banger guitar riff, really just gets the boys going in the locker room before the game and ready to just run through a wall.
2. We Like to Party - The Vengaboys
Honestly this thing should speak for itself but what an absolute ripper. If this shit doesn't get your blood pumping I have serious concerns about your ears, and also whatever is going on between them. Just absolute dopamine to the dome.
3. Red Flag - Billy Talent
Who doesn't remember this tune from the old chel soundtracks, and again it just gets the boys going. You're out on the ice feelign like you're on the joysticks again, ready to put Mike van Ryn through the glass.
4. Hey Brother - Avicii
It's the perfect mix between getting you fired up but you also kind of want to cry. That's the perfect headspace before a game.
5. Faint - Linkin Park
Alright we're running straight back through a wall again, let's go.
