I'll always have a soft spot for New England after my previous player spent their entire career with them. Plus, any team that Ace and Hotdog GMs gets my support because they drafted my past player and helped me get my bearings in the league.
If my shl rights team (Texas) were to get eliminated from the playoffs, I’d be rooting for Edmonton. 1) To support my former J GM @cake307 who is now the GM in EDM. 2) Casino bets.
I have not been in the league long enough to have any true feelings about a team, so I am basing this directly off of the name of the team and their logo. Probably Tampa Bay because their logo looks like a Northern Pike and reminds me of Michigan lol
I want to see the Chicago syndicate succeed, as i was born and raised in the greater Chicagoland area. I also want to see Calgary win the championship.
my player only plays for one person, himself. selfish? maybe.... but its that drive and dedication that has honed him into the unstoppable machine that he is on the ice today.
Buffalo is not a fav atm. We're expected to be out round one. So ideally I'd like to see a team who has not won the cup in a while, or at all, make it to the finals and take it. With their many shortcomings against the SFP Dynasty, TBB winning could be a nice moment of Catharsis, and make the GM's lost Salary worth it mentally. Out of the west, Calgary for them not winning in some time, to make my Dragonite, Noodles, happy, and because Boom is a fellow Sylveon fan and part of the Trans goalie army.

I am still very fond of the Edmonton Blizzard having spent much of both my SHL player's careers there. Still many great people there and I hope they can find their way back to the top!
Since my team did not make the playoffs, I will be rooting for the New England Wolfpack in this seasons playoffs. One reason is; I have a decent personal relationship with some of their players and I want to see them succeed. The other reason is I projected them to go far in my predictions!
I mean, seeing a team like Buffalo or Manhattan make a Cinderella-esque run through the playoffs and show that they can compete now with the big boys. We know both teams have good management so they could, with some luck, pull it off.
I think that Calgary will win. I think it will come down to either them or tampa bay. Both teams can run up the score, as the regular season proved looking at their goal differential.
I think in terms of other teams to throw my support behind it would be places i have personal friends or friends of the forge in general, like Texas, Atlanta, New England - but i also have a soft spot for my S74 comrades in what should be our TPE peak playoffs, so Calgary, Seattle, Winnipeg would be good shouts too.
I always root for the New Orleans Spectors because that's the team that drafted me into the SHL. Lots of good people still on the team that deserve success!!
It’s hard to pick a specific team but I like to see teams who have struggled for a long time eventually break through. It’s nice to see hard work pay off even if it’s that of others!
