Good effort towards the end, just couldn't beat Miller enough tonight he was the only factor that avoided us getting the W tonight.

2nd goal was awful first 1 a deflection right in front can't blame him

Scrivens could have had it but if you give Pommer that much time alone in front of the net he's going to make you pay... 1st goal was shit

Love Naz, thought Lupes had it :(

There's a reason Miller is nicknamed "The Leaf Killer". He always beast modes vs. us.

I thought Phaneuf was absolutely stellar tonight. Probably the best defensively I've ever seen from him and was making things happen offensively. But he's just so underrated defensively.

I fucking love Kadri though. Who knows. Maybe he can become our number 1 C like we drafted him to be. He's improved so much defensively, looks faster and stronger. He's so damn talented too.

He also won 54% of the draws tonight. Bozak went 22-4 on the draws :o

Buffalo = the Sarnia of Ontario, therefore they can play a Phoenix style of game and nobody will give two shits.

Naz: pussy, bust, won't have an edge against more physical teams = SHL scouts

Kostka's been solid, but for an AHL player's standards. When Gards comes back, this is how i see it playing out.

Gardiner - Phaneuf
Liles - Holzer
Gunnarsson - Komisarek
Kostka* - Franson* (healthy scratches)

Don't even get me started on Scrivens. When hes good, hes shaky. When hes bad, hes terrible.

Strong overreaction. Scrivens didn't do anything wrong today. I'd still go with Reimer next game though.

Hes an AHL goalie, i've watched less than half of the Marlies games this season and his style won't get him far in the NHL. He makes the rest of the team nervous with his play with the puck (outside of his crease and in it). I like him but hes not ready, i was hoping he could surprise but realistically Reimer should be getting the starts.

Ya Scrivens was shaky on Saturday but pretty solid today.

Gardiner should be back against Pittsburgh which will be a huuuuge boost to the lineup. Finally get a legitimate star talent offensive presence on the backend to help.

Pairing should be:

Phaneuf-Kostka
Gardiner-Gunnarson
Liles-Komisark

Or maybe

Gunnarson-Phaneuf
Gardiner-Kostka
Liles-Komisarek

Maybe keeping Kostka and Gards together because they had a ton of chemistry together with the Marlies.

How has JVR looked? Haven't watched any Leafs hockey yet this season.
