Fans love the danger in any sport...fights, hits, etc.

I dont like Indy car and the last death in F1 was 18 years ago. And after that they slowed F1 down. When Senna died they banned super charged V12 engines and now FIA standard engines are V8. Watch any horrific crash in F1 nowadays and teh drivers get out unscathed and the fans are protected as well.

11 years ago for F1 (Fritz Glatz)

F2 had one in 09.

Some F1 driver died last year, he was only like 25. they honored him at Indy. Do research next time.

Glatz was driving a vintage F1 car in a race that isnt associated with F1. I hardly call that a death in formula 1. He was 59 and far removed from formula 1.

Dan Wheldon was an Indy car race driver. not F1. Do your research.
