embarrasing sad loss, gotta go into Phili now and life is tough, needed a point tonight

not sure why Bozak didn't take that faceoff in thier own end before the goal, and not sure why Scrivens covered the puck to lead to the faceoff in the first place

Big positive was Kadri AGAIN.

I don't really mind Kostka all that much, I think he is being over-used. He shouldn't get any PP time(cough*call up Gardiner). In my opinion Holzer should go down for Gardiner, he doesn't have to go through waivers and he hasn't exactly been amazing. I have loved the job Carlye has done so far but it really is time to cut the shit and bring Gardiner up.

Amen. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Hopefully we can snag at least one point in that game, Philly always gives us a rough ride.

Lolz. He's part of that crew. Can't expect much more than that.

I'm pretty sure everyone that trolls this section is part of that retarded ass crew actually.

love that kostka. just like wheelz and dion did a few weeks ago. he's so good, but is having a rough stretch. sending him down isn't the answer. he needs more time then he'll go back to what he was; a 1st line dman, unlike that scrub gardiscrub.

errr I heard that Fraser would have to clear waivers to go down but I could have sworn he has a two-way contract.. same with Kostka so forget that Kostka should be down if that's the case

Two way contract has nothing to do with waiver eligibility, it's the pay you receive if you're playing in the NHL or AHL. NHL series misleads us Tongue. but yeah, I thought that too until early last year :D

Waivers is determined by NHL games played or something like that.

Team has played great so far. Just wait until Reimer, Frattin, Lupul come back from injury and eventually Gardiner if he ever gets called up Tongue We cant win them all guys. Just be happy Montreal beat NYR to hold them back from getting any points.

Very pleased with the team so far... I thought they would be in the basement again but proving me wrong Smile

it has to do with both, if you have a one-way contract you have to clear waivers. if you have a two-way contract and you've played under the maximum number of games and earn under the maximum contract (whatever it is) then you don't clear waivers.

Good game, last two periods were some good hockey.

Incorrect 2 way contract means the player sent down makes 10% of there NHL contract. 1 way means they have to pay everything to that player.

Mark Frazer has to clear waivers as he's played over 80GP (he signed his first contract at 21) so 80 NHL GP makes him waiver eligible

I knew Fraze would have to. It's a real conundrum for the Leafs trying to get Gardiner back in.

Holzer and Fraser stay at all cost... I really like what they bring to the team and have been some of our best defensemen.

Kostka needs to be waived or traded for a draft pick. Komisarek needs to be traded for a draft pick as well. Feel bad for him sitting there, he deserves better.
