yeah, but Kostka wouldn't be terrible as a bottom-pairing guy. Don't like how Carlyle's giving him 20 minutes a night and especially don't like that he's on the power play.

I'm not saying he should be a top line guy, I'm saying Cam is calling for the guys head calling him a plug. He's been playing decent, he's not a top line guy. The Leafs all together look terrible on Defense, blaming that on Kostka and Holzer is a lil moronic

The thing is I'm not saying anything about Frazer good or bad. The fact that Phaneuf is ranked #727 in the NHL in +/- on a team with only two other - defensemen (Kostka and Holzer who you claim are plugs) pretty much supports what I'm saying. I blame Carlyle for it more than anything. Both of them shouldn't be playing and if so, they should be playing small minutes and Gardiner should be up. Not going to stop me from being pissed at their poor play

When have I made a bi-polar comment regarding the leafs this season? I said Kostka looked good the first few games but its been all down hill since then for him. Scrivens is the only one I can think of where I'm up and down on him.

He's been playing with both Kostka and Holzer who have been terrible. Ask most leaf fans, Phaneuf has been solid this season aside from tonight.

I've watched every game this season and Phaneuf has impressed me once maybe twice all season, other than that he's been extremely underwhelming as a top line guy
