Do the North Stars have what it takes to win the cup? I think they have the best team in the SHL this year. Popular names that most of you probably know are names such as Mike Honcho, Dean Clarke, Yousuf Scherbluk, Darian Scherbluk, Benjamin Wong, Robert Spezza, Grigori Pajari, Phil Schenn, Dave Smith, Patrick Pelletier, Rashad Thomas and Blake Laflamme. But lets take a closer look at these players.

Mike Honcho

Mike started off in this league in season 2. He has been traded to a lot of teams in his career, but some how came to the stars right on time. With retirement of Charlie serpe, Honch came and filled the starter position while Jamie Shelter develops to take his place. Even though he will be reaching regression soon he is playing like he has never played before. With 28 wins , 12 losses and 4 over time losses, a save percentage of .916 (3rd best in the league) and a goal against average of 2.08 (2nd best in the league) He has helped a lot to the stars and it is going to be sad to see him go in the next season or two.

Dean Clarke

Dean started his carrer in season 10 and now is helping the best team in the league reach there dram. As he may only have 13 points this guy helps them on defence a lot. 85 hits, 45 penalty minutes and playing on the penalty kill this guy shuts down forwards. and he is not even at his greatest years yet. He currently plays on the 2nd line with Patrick. It is only season 12 now and he came 2 season ago. As he may not be the best now, he has a bright future a head of him. He is also our assistant captain

Yousuf Scherbluk

I started off in season 8 and eventually got traded to the stars where my new career began. As of right now (last time index was updated) I am leading the North stars with 41 points. I play 2nd line even though I'm better then the center on the 1st line, I just can't play with Wong. I played 5 games on the first line and I got 1 goal. Went back to 2nd line and in 2 games I have 2 goals and 2 assists. I now currently play on the 2nd line with Phil and Dave. Krever made a smart move when getting me and I'm glad I became a star.

Darian Scherbluk

One of the best defense men a team could ever have, and luckily the North Stars got him. Started off in Season 8 just like his bro and even in his first year of the SHL he was already the best, surprised he was not taken 1st overall in the draft. He was drafted like the Hawks (just like his bro) But then wanted to come to the Stars. Currently he is first line defense men with 40 points and he plays both offence and defense really well. It was close to impossible for the stars to get him. but you got to give thanks to Krever for making the impossible deal possible. He is also our assistant captain

Benjamin Wong

He use to be on the Platoon, but Krever knows how make deals for players like him. He also started in the season 8 draft and today is known as a great player. With 37 points he has helped the stars get to 1st place and will help them continue there rain of terror throughout the playoffs. He is now the assistant GM for the North Stars and will become the head of the organisation when Krever steps down.

Robert Spezza

Spezza started off in season 5 and is currently on the 1st line playing with Wong and Pajari. He has 40 points and is our veteran of the team. If I believe so he will also be hitting regression in season 15 which is not to far away. He helps us both on the goals and on the passes and use ot be active, but slowly faded away. He is also the former captain of the team.

Grigori Pajari

Now this guy has been here from season 1 and by the the best GM a team could ever have. Great trades, great management and a great player for the stars. He is so awesome they even have an award named after him. Grigori currently is playing on the 1st line with Wong and Spezza and has put up 39 points. He also plays on the 3rd line with Thomas and Malenfant. He will be a big help in the playoffs
and he will help us get one step closer to the cup. He is also a Commissioner

Phil Schenn

Phil started off in season 9 and got drafted by the North stars. He currently plays on the second line with Yousuf and Dave. Phil has the best accuracy on the team as he leads in scoring with 21 goals. Great for a guy who has only been here sense season 9. Very friendly guy in the locker room as well and Phil was not lucky to become a star, the Stars were lucky to have him.

Dave Smith

Dave Smith was drafted season 11 and he is a key part of the stars offence now and in the future. He currently plays on the second line with Yousuf and Phil and has 26 points (better then I did in my second season <_< ) Dave usually feeds the puck to Yousuf or Phil as he has 18 assists and 8 goals. I can't wait to see him develop into a great winger and me, him and Phil will wreck the rink.

Patrick Pelletier

Patrick started his career in season 5 and currently plays on the 2nd line with Dean Clarke. Patrick was not drafted to the stars, but Krever traded to get him. with 32 assists and 4 goals he has 36 points. He is a passing master and also gets a goal every now and again Patrick is also a great sig maker. He made a playoff sig and the Scherbluk bro sig that I have at the moment. He has a 2nd job as our graphics guy. But when he does retire I will miss him.

Rashad Thomas

Thomas started his career in season 7 and was drafted by Winnipeg, but Krever saw him becoming a great winger and knew he could help this team. He currently has 11 goals and 9 assists. He plays on the 3rd line with Malenfant and Pajari. This season may be one of his off seasons, but everyone has at least one. He is also a Commissioner on this site.

Blake Laflamme

Blake started his career in season 8 and currently plays on the 1st line with Darian. Blake has put up 10 goals and 12 assists which gives him 22 points. A pretty even goal to assist ratio. As his contract is expiring soon we hope he will re sing and stay with this organisation. Everyone on the team enjoys his company and he helps up on the ice defensively and offensively. 112 times he has crushed someone into the boards. this guy plays great both ways and the stars were lucky he signed with them. But the question is, will he sign again?
