I respect those Leaf fans out in Winnipeg. Didnt pounce on the jets dick as soon as a team got put back in Winnipeg. They stuck with their team.

Tough stretches like this are good at showing how a rebuilding team is progressing and showing a team what they really have. Obviously right now some tweaks need to be made still but getting a point outta the Pens is good as usually it would e a blow out. You weren't handed your asses by the bruins. And the Jets were saved early by Pavlec and have since taken over but that happens alot with hot goalies(see Bobrovsky)

On the radar of absolutely stupid comments, this one is a 10 out of a possible 10. Please stop. You're better than this.

Like wtf, how do you guys go from loving Kostka and being on his dick, then 20 games later he's useless and should be put on waiver? Isn't there an inbetween?

Out of the stupid comment scale, this is a 11/10

He only looked good the first 2 games and its been downhill since then. There is nothing bi-polar about it.

EDIT: plus I liked him as a Marlie but that's what he should be.

How are you so ignorant? Who was on his dick? People said he played fine the first couple of games, then it was over with. This experiment has been dragged on way too long.

You obviously don't no much about basketball. Anderson has been a better player than Ross has.

Ill give you Gary over JV though

Yeahthat

Anderson has been clutch and doing really well offensively. I do like Ross though...

I'm ignorant? I don't have the time to go sift through and find where, but Cam for sure was dick riding how "Oh he had however many points in the AHL, how is this guy not getting more recognition, he's a stud" Then within a week he already wanted him out.

Holzer is no longer waiver eligible so that is true, but it shouldn't be the reason. Kostka would likely clear waivers, and Gunnar/Holzer deserve to sit a game regardless. Games are literally being lost BECAUSE of these players.

If it is because of a trade/showcase, well, there's 20 damn games left; Nonis needs to get on the treadmill and step it up a notch.
But at the same time, Leafs are in a playoff position and these guys have been a part of it. At the beginning of the season, even with Gardiner, would you expect to be in the top half of the East? Probably not, you rpobably saw a 6-8 finish with a fully healthy team. The Leafs could be leveling off and could do so even with Gardiner. I guess I'm trying to say that after 26 games if the Leafs are cooling off, Nonis should not trade pieces that helped get him this far, he should be patient and wait for the deal that he feels is right for the team.

Don't hurt me but I'll relate it to Detroit Tongue
Last year, Emmerton was the scapegoat and he needed to go for a bag of pucks in the eyes of Wings fans. This year, he's been a very effective botton six and pk guy. That's not to say he shouldn't be traded or moved, but his value is greater then what it was last year and Wings could get a better return. The same can be said about Kostka an Holzer, both are rookies, no? So if they don't perform or are put in the wrong situation for a few weeks, in a shortened season it hurts more but it's not time to just send them away for next to nothing. Tongue
